Lupis took the bathing suit she had gotten at her dorm and put it on. It was a bikini, a pretty sunflower yellow that contrasted sharply with her sun kissed skin. Her eyes were an uneasy violet, she was not used to being in public in something so skimpy compared to her normal garb. She could see a couple of other people in the hotsprings. Walking outside nervously she went up to Kurtis, who was still in full dress. She wasn't surprised to learn that he had no bathing suit, in fact she could not quite see him in one. Going into her bag she got out a pair of swimming trunks. "See? I plan ahead. I had an extra pair in my chest, I bought it on one of the tropical islands I traveled too. I thought the colors were pretty, I never thought it would actually be used..." She handed Kurtis the trunks. She was sure they would fit him, just as they had fit her master.

Lupis laughed at his embarassment. She saw the large puckered scar around his leg and guessed that it was the cause of his limp. She wondered what had caused such a scar. She went up to him and kissed him, feeling the bare flesh against her own. She went into the edge of the pool and dipped one foot in. Her skin flushed with color as she slipped gracefully into the warm pool. Her scars were more prominent, many fading scars that peppered her hands, arms and stomach. There were three slash marks on her palm, a symbol jail keepers often put on thieves in the east. The scars on her stomach were the biggest, two jagged white scars that crosses over her lower abdoman. She turned to Kurtis and smiled. 'The water is wonderful!" She exclaimed as she leaned back, her eyes a deep amber color of pleasure.

Lupsi shut her eyes painfully. She took his hand. "Not here, please. Later." Her eyes went beyond desolate black and into something eery, a cold artic blue. "I will tell you...later.....but now let us just enjoy ourselves." She took his hand and squeezed it gently. When she opened her eyes there was that same yellow eyes, her true feelings locked in somewhere deeper in her heart. She had a mischevious twinkle in her eyes. "I will tell you where some of my other scars came from though." She said.

Lupis took his hand gently. First she showed him the scar on her neck, a thin line. "This I got from old Henry, the corpse collector, we all hated him. His job was taking orphan bodies and givin' them to the doctor, who used them. One day he took it in his head that maybe he should hasten my death a little faster, I didn't let him though..." She led his fingers on each scar, a rich tapestry of her life on the streets and around the world. The scars on her palm were in fact from when she was caught stealing a bauble off of a woman. The fine scars on her arms came from her multitudes of travel and experience. Her body was a story book, waiting for someone to open it and see the secrets inside.

Lupis shook her head. "no, not really hard. I had mates and animals to keep me warm. I wasn't alone...." She said. She swished around in the water, enjoying the feel of it against her bare skin. Goosebumbs rippled on her arms as they made contact with the colder air.

Lupis smiled at his chivalry. "Would you like something to drink? A soda perhaps or water?" She got up and stretched. "All this hot water is making me thirsty. I'll go get us something."

Lupis came back with a cold soda. Slipping back into the pool, she saw Kurtis rubbing his scar thoughtfully. She went up to him and touched it. "You have your own demons to hide." She said simply as she rubbed the scar.
