"RAZZER, DO IT! FORCE HIM IN!" Hawthorn yelled from somewhere nearby, and the crushing pain increased.
Grimacing, Razzer screamed aloud.
"GO. BACK. IN!" He yelled, willing himself to force the demon back into his body. He wouldn't let it take him over. He wouldn't let it kill him.
"DON'T DO IT!" the demon yelled back, but he had lost. With a final push Razzer forced it back inside. The force trying to control him was gone, and he felt the bodily changes receding.
He had won.

Rin's fists clenched as she watched Razzer being lifted into the air by a violent light. She glanced towards the boy and scooted back a bit herself, giving them room. But she was biting her lip anxiously now, wincing as she saw the lower fangs extending upwards. She got back to her feet as she glanced around and then finally back towards Razzer. She didn't want to watch this... She growled to herself and took a small step forward before stopping again. She could hear the demon speaking through his mouth. Did that happen to her? She didn't think so...
She inched her way towards the boy, stopping five feet away. She was just standing here, watching, useless... She bit her lip harder and then faced him. "What should I do?" she asked quietly, fists still clenched, her arms straight down by her sides. She needed to do something to help. She'd never wanted to help anyone so badly before in her life. She stared at her hand again, still trying to figure out what the power was that she had. Hopefully it'd be of some use. Her eyes shifted back to the boy, staring fixedly as she waited for a reply. Hopefully she wasn't distracting him too badly from what he was trying to do. She bit her tongue at the thought.
But her attention jerked back to Razzer at the sudden shout and she stared at him through wide eyes. All of her regular indifference had disappeared entirely. At least, for the moment. She watched in anxious silence what appeared to be the final mental battle. She simply stood there, watching, and hoping with all her might that Razzer had won. Yeah, she was helping a lot..

Hawthorn looked up as The violet light faded and Razzer descended to the ground. Hawthorn lowered his hand to his side and he stumbled backwards. Trying to catch his balance, he fell forward onto his hands and knees, sitting there resting. He hadn't had to use that technique in a long time and it costed him alot of energy.
He panted as he moved back to sit against the legs. He sighed as he looked over at the girl, who he offered a kind smile, before looking back at Razzer. He wasn't really sure how he was doing but he hoped he was okay now.
"Razzer, are you okay?"

Rin stared in alarm towards Razzer, her eyes wide. She watched as he lowered back to the ground,a nd then cast a quick glance towards the boy. He smiled at her, but her expression didn't change. She just looked back to Razzer once more, taking a couple steps towards him, but stopping a few feet away again. She bit her lip nervously, and realized suddenly she had tears in her eyes. With a frown, she quickly wiped them away and then crouched down again, staring.
She suddenly realized what the power was that she'd obtained as well. Healing.. It'd felt odd because she'd never used healing powers before. She took a deep breath to calm herself so her voice would stay stable, and then spoke. "Any injuries?" she asked faintly. Her hands clenched again, gripping the grass tightly. She felt extremely odd. She wasn't acting like herself at all and she knew it. She frowned again, staring at the ground.

(( HOLY CRAP. O__O;;; You guys roleplayed a LOT this morning... gonk ))
The girl blinked, trying to take this all in. Her mind was being attacked and she was fending that off, trying to remember something about seals that she'd learned but half-forgotten, trying to regain enough strength to re-try to teleport herself to wherever her friend was, and trying to keep her eyes open, not look conspiciously hurt, flexing her hand, and above all, not swaying and falling over.
Unfortunately for her, her mind was only able to work on maybe two levels at once. Not six or seven or however many she needed at the moment. And then she blinked, hearing four different voices.
There had only been two other people! "What the..." she blinked her eys and looked around, finally paying attention. There was a new person there, a girl, and Hawthorn was rooting for Razzer, ( That must be the dude with the horns and tail... ) And then Razzer was on the ground, and she was completely confused.
Blinking momentarily and taking a very weary step forward, she offered blankly, "Um... I might be able to help you with the seal problem. My type of..." she searched for the right wording, "'magic' involves things such as seals and 'spells' and ... whatever; the point is is that I might be able to help you out." she nodded softly, folding her arms and suddenly started to lean to her without realizing she was.
Fatigue bites.

((XD Sorry.))
Razzer felt his body lightly touch down upon the ground again, and he slowly crumpled into a heap. Fighting the demon had taken a lot out of him. Blood was slowly darkening the bandages on his hands where his nails had pierced them. The demon... whoever it was... was no longer fighting him, trying to take over. But how long until he tries again? Razzer couldn't help wondering.
"Razzer, are you okay?" he faintly heard someone... Hawthorn?... ask. He nodded wearily, and tried to sit up. Every bone in his body ached, and his seal still throbbed painfully.
Then there was another voice... another familiar one. A female voice, asking if he had any injuries. Where had he heard that voice before? Opening his eyes, he looked up to see Rin. He opened his mouth in surprise, and started to speak.
"Ri-" he was cut off by another girl talking. "Um..." she began. "I might be able to help you with the seal problem. My type of... 'magic' involves things such as seals and 'spells' and ... whatever; the point is is that I might be able to help you out."
Where was that voice coming from? Razzer wondered, looking around. Then he saw her, the girl that had tried to fry him and the penguins. He blinked tiredly to show he heard her.
"Help me out how?" he asked hoarsely. All the yelling between himself and the demon had wreaked hell on his voice.

Rin raised her head slightly when she heard him beginning to speak, but he cut off suddenly. She continued staring at him for a moment, still biting her lower lip nervously. Then her eyes darted towards the other girl and she watched her for a bit as well. She let out a quiet sigh, wiped her eyes one last time, and then crawled slowly towards Razzer. If he wasn't going to reply, then she'd just go ahead and act. She sat down on her knees beside him and took his hand carefully. Of course, it was his hand that was injured. That only made it worse.
Her own hands had ovbious scars across the palms and inside of the fingers from the last time she'd been taken over. She pushed these thoughts away and closed her eyes. A very faint glow came from her hands, drifting into his that she held. The wound gradually began to close up and heal itself. Then she repeated this for his other hand before letting go and dropping hers to her lap. She stared at the ground again, completely silent. What was she supposed to say after performing an act that was so unlike her, and for a person she didn't know? Well, she did... at one point. She didn't remember him now.

Rin approached Razzer and took his hand. He almost jerked his hand back, but he kept himself from it. What the hell was she doing?
A light aura emanated from her hand, travelling to his. The slowly throbbing pain of the cuts began to ease, and the blood stopped trickling. She repeated this motion with his other hand before stepping back.
"Rin..." he said slowly. "How...?" he would have continued, but the look on Rin's face made him stop. She was steadily avoiding his gaze, but she looked slightly baffled. Like... like she couldn't quite figure out who he was.
But that's absurd! Razzer's mind exclaimed. She knows who I am!...right?

Rin blinked once when he said her name, but waited a few seconds before finally turning to look at him. Then she stared almost blankly for a moment before shrugging slightly. "I found a spirit who can heal," she muttered quietly. "Did you... know that already? That I can?" She paused, and then glanced back towards the ground. "Your name is Raz... Razzer?"
God, she felt like an idiot. Here was a person who obviously knew who she was, but she couldn't remember him at all! Just a vague familiarity that made her believe the idea they'd met before wasn't entirely insane. And Haruko had told her they'd already met... She frowned, biting her lip again as her hands once more clutched at the grass. This was very... frustrating. She took another deep breath and then added, "Are you hurt anywhere else?" She still couldn't believe she'd almost started crying from the sidelines. Her grip on the grass tightened.

Rin seemed slightly surprised that he knew her name. She stared at him for a moment, and shrugged at his question. "I found a spirit who can heal," she mumbled. She asked if he already knew that already, at which Razzer nodded.
"Yeah, you can integrate with spirits." he said. She glanced towards the ground before half-asking if his name was Razzer. He was stunned.
How could she not remember me? Is she off her rocker?
She asked if he was hurt anywhere else, but he shook his head. "No, I'm fine. Apart from the demon somewhere inside me, the horns sprouting from my skull, and this seal on my stomach, I'm in perfect health."
He furrowed brow. She really doesn't recognize me?

Rin hesitated a moment. "I can't do anything for that currently," she mumbled, referring to the other things he complained about. She took a rather shaky breath and then bowed her head further. "Then I'll release the spirit now."
She closed her eyes, and after a moment, her body gave a small jolt. The ghost drifted out of her, blinking a few times as he hovered above her for a moment and then glanced down. He remained silent, and then cast Razzer a glance before shaking his head and starting off.
Rin opened her eyes once he'd left and took another deep breath, trying to regain it. She was slouched a bit more forward than she had been previously, looking out of breath. "D-did I know you fr-from Ria then?" she panted quietly. "How exactly did I-I know you?"
She glanced at him out of the corner of her eye before dropping her gaze again. Yes, she definitely felt like an idiot, and the expression he made didn't help with that at all. Should she tell him why she didn't remember? Kind of fend for herself a bit so she didn't seem quite as crazy? ...no, he'd ask sooner or later. Besides, it might make her seem even more insane. He didn't know about the curse, did he?

Rin muttered something about not being able to help him there, and then something about releasing the spirit. Her eyes closed and she gave a little jolt, as if someone had momentarily hit her with a cattle prod.
She took a deep breath. "D-did I know you fr-from Ria then?" she asked him. "How exactly did I-I know you?"
So she really didn't remember...
"Yes." he replied simply. "You knew me from Ria. But we weren't exactly on 100% friendly terms back then..." he sighed, memories coming back. What few conversations he had with Rin usually weren't nice ones, and the time she turned him back was practically the only nice thing she did in his presence.
"You helped me though, one time..." he said. "Before I came to Ria I was a squid from the neck down - a result of a spell cast on me - but you managed to rid me of the curse, save for this tail." As evidence, Razzer flicked his tentacle.
"But you don't remember?"

Rin listened quietly without looking at him, and slowly straightened again as she began to regain her breath. She was frowning to herself now, taking in his words and trying to figure out if they seemed accurate and trustworthy or not. Then again, she didn't see any reason he'd have to lie to her, and he didn't actually sound like he was in the first place.
Once he finished, she gave a short nod and looked back up at him. It all gave her that same familiar feeling. She blinked and slowly shook her head. "No. I-" She paused, and then continued. "I had an accident.." She casually balled her hands into fists, hiding the scars there. Her sweatshirt was already covering the large one across her chest.

"The accident being the suicide attempt?" he asked, more of a statement than a question. "Yes, I heard about it. People were saying that you broke down and tried to slash yourself with a piece of your dorm room mirror. After you recovered you were expelled, correct?" He knew that that wasn't the entire story, though. As angry and odd as Rin was, it wasn't her to try and kill herself with a bathroom mirror. It had to have been the work of that spirit in the necklace. She must have failed to get it purified at the temple...
"I know it wasn't you who slashed your chest, but for the sake of the others here I'll leave out the details." Razzer said.
But that doesn't explain why she lost her memory... did the staff at Ria wipe her memory before expelling her, or did the spirit?

Rin stared at him for a second, and then slowly nodded. "Yeah... When I woke up, I didn't remember anything. At first I didn't even know why I'd ended up in the hospital." She glanced down at her hands and then kept her gaze on the ground. So he did know... Had it turned into a rumor?
Great, now people she didn't even know would be thinking she was insane. Well, that didn't really matter now since they were still at Ria, she assumed. But then... She glanced at Razzer again. Was his being here just a coincidence? And why did he know about the curse? Had she told him for some reason?
She frowned to herself, trying to recall something, but failing horribly. Maybe it'd come back eventually? Until then, she'd just have to deal with being frustrated all the time.
A thought occured to her and she blinked, looking at him. "Did I Just help you, or ask for something in return?" It seemed to her she would've made a deal of some sort, but she couldn't remember what.
