It's not Croatoan that's about Sammy dying, it's Hunted. Croatoan is next weeks episode, and Hunted is the week after.

wikked.love It's not Croatoan that's about Sammy dying, it's Hunted. Croatoan is next weeks episode, and Hunted is the week after. Well yah, vision of Sam dying... but he gets infected in Croatoan and also has the possibility of dying.. or killing himself to stop it from happening.

huh, croatoan? next week's ep. I thought we weren't having any new episodes for a while, just reruns, which made me sad.

huh? well, i just hate how in lots of threads they spelled Croatoan wrong. Drove me insane. But, tell me you guys know abuot Roanoke? Where the lost colony is? Where the word Croatoan even comes from...

No, I didn't even recognize the word Croatoan. I just liked the title I thought it was cool. But I didn't know that Sammy gets infected! Kinda wish that episode was on now because I want to see some cool Sammy almost dyingage. But it takes some of the fun out of it knowing he's not going to. But then again, can't have Geekboy dying, that'd be just way bad. Way way bad.

I read up a bit on the Roanoke Island thing.. but I'm bad with remembering myths/legends.. so I wont try to explain cause I'll probably get it all wrong.. I just enjoy where the show goes with it... So I'll wait for that. 3nodding

I just hope that they get it right. That's all.
But, for those who don't know, mini-version:
there was the first american colony, in virginia, and ...[i think it was raleigh's colony, but i'm not sure. it could have been a spanish colony] there was a girl born there, named Virginia, after the colony, and the man who started it left, and came back [ten years later, i think] and everyone was gone. Like just no traces, nothing. There was only the word "Croatoan" carved into a tree where the colony used to be.
Several theories are that they killed themselves
were killed by the indians
were forcefully put into the tribes of the indians
moved off and merged with the indians
but there were several reports of a blue eyed blonde indian girl, and so many people thought it was Virginia, or one of her descendents, which is why people think that they may have merged with the indians.

yeah, i'm wondering that, too.
i will bet you it's supposedly what got rid of the colonists.
but i can't remember who it was who made the colony, but i'm sure it was Raleigh, or the guy who came right before him when it came time ot conquer ireland. can't spell conquer..i know there's another 'o'. dunno where.

I think they would be a bit reluctant to put up that tidbit of knowledge there buddy... stare yah... maybe look it up in a text book.. get the real facts.. then post those on wikipedia blaugh Show them all!
