Bou knew where the ninja were... where they were going, they still had threads attached to them unnoticed, too small and fine to be detected even with a thorough search had they the time.
Placing all six arms before him, Bou drank deeply from the unreal amount of Chakra his body produced, drawing in the air from the field and pressurizing it within his Harmonic Cannons, opening all shutters and sonic control blinders.

And lo, did fall from the heavens a construct of impossible magnitude, colored of flesh and far too large, too monstrous to avoid. Yes, it was a giant foot that slammed down directly on top of the fleeing enemy ninja without warning or precedence, crashing into the ground and obliterating all beneath it!
But that is not all, it was mainly a Kuuatsu Bunshin shaped into a giant foot, and when it hits the ground, it explodes... flattening that section of forest and imploding any forest creatures foolish enough to still be within a quarter of a mile.

*As soon as the goblin took the kid out of the carriage, a pulse of chakra basically blew the ash goblin away...the kid then jumped on top of the carriage. He seemed to have been awake the whole time, unaffected by the enemy's jutsu*
"I...refuse to let your actions continue...I refuse to let you make sacrifices of my people...I reject your reality, and create my own..."
*the kid shut his eyes...and had them closed as Komm began his foot technique...slowly, he opened his eyes, only to reveal two glowing blue lights...the fires in the immediate area were put out instantaneously, as if the oxygen for the fire had been removed altogether, but the sleeping monks were still breathing...*
*with a loud yell, the kid did an uppercut motion at the incoming foot and at the height of his punch, vast amounts of chakra was released from the end of his fist...from that chakra, a similar technique to Bou's was used to counter the foot. an enormous hand, although not flesh-colored - it was actually near-invisible, barely having its shape outlined by the dust and chakra that flew around it, emerged from that point source of chakra and formed a fist as it flew upwards and collided with the foot, setting off the explosion in sky, clearing any clouds within a half-mile radius that weren't already cleared by previous techniques*
*after the technique, the kid's face was now that of one gone berserk. The blue slowly changed to red...something bad was coming...*
*he raised his arms with his palms outward, and immediately, several thuds hit the ground...slowly, all the enemy nin faded into view as some kind of technique around them dissipated into nothingness. All of them had bulging bloodshot eyes and open mouths, as if they had been instantly suffocated. Chakra and air then seemed to gather right next to him, and soon, a near-invisible clone of the kid stood there. The clone jumped off the carriage and walked in the direction of Nozomi. The kid then turned his gaze upon Bou. His eyes still glowing red, he was now set on destroying all who had ever threatened his comrades' lives...*
*the kid leaned forward, preparing to jump, and then kicked off. The mere force of that kickoff sent the carriage flying into the trees...the kid then basically flew at high speeds towards Bou's face as the kid readied to deliver a punch...*
*the old man, who was being carried away by the goblin, had apparently been awake the whole time as well, but he seemed diminished, weak...*
old man: "He has awakened.......too soon......too soon..."
((the heir to a temple that specialized in an advanced martial art, did you expect him to be like that weakling in the 3rd Naruto movie?))

arrow Rice Country - Give them nothing! But take from them..EVERYTHING!
So a clone is walking towards her, hmm? You don't miss a surge like that. She does the only thing she can think of in such a situation. She hops with her back against a tree..and grabs her insturment. Nozomi opens her senses to the chakra around her, and sets down her instrument..sitting in seiza..and begins playing a song..a very unusual, sweet sounding song. The song begins to amplify the moment she plays it, and she can't help but smile to herself. So this kid has a lot of power. Yet they were supposed to save him? Protect him? Let him rage. Orochimaru would have exploited the child and used his power, not catered to him and his people. She'd had enough.
Her fingers flew across the insturment, and Chakra raged around her as she opened her eyes, their own countenance red and blazing. She was the result of hundreds of years of genetic weeding, changing, and gifts given by the Lord himself. She would play her song for this challenger, this boy, and she would make his clone remember the power of the Gaki no Kisei. She played the melody of death..and was waiting for his move.

Bou slammed his bottom two hands down on the kid's wrist and vaulted around behind him. Well before he even landed, Bou's Byakuugan activated with a searing pulse of white chakra...
The moment his feet touched the ground, chakra bubbled up from the earth, spreading out in a yin-yang symbol circled in an unfathomable collection of Mandarin symbols and Kanji. "Hakke!" The boy would find he was paralyzed by this focusing ring, it was simply a matter of course.
The ring's circles began to multiply exponentially, spreading out across the field... covering it and dipping away out of sight, continuing to grow. "Time to put you back to sleep, kid!"
Bou's six arms spread out around him with swirling after-images following behind each. "Shugohakke Rokkan Daidoumyaku Issengohyakusatimutsu Tsukeme." His eyes issued forth white fire as his arms disappeared, time appeared to stop within the kilometre-wide ring for everyone except Nozomi and Bou, shielded properly. "ZA WARUDO!" =Guardian's Absorbing Great Pulse Fist: One Thousand Five Hundred Thirty-Six Crippling Strikes=
The nigh-invisible hands moving at unreal speeds slashed forward, all six singing and stabbing for the paralyzed boy, aiming to close off tenketsu... "MUDAMUDAMUDAMUDAMUDAMUDA!" but something curious, should even six of these 1536 strikes graze the boy, he would be at a total loss of his six senses, sight, smell, touch, taste, hearing, and the veritable "third eye" of energy detection. This attack was not designed to kill, but to disable completely in every sense of the word, making it impossible for the opponent to do anything at all.

arrow Rice Country - Talk about overkill...
*Inexperience led to the boy's downfall as he collapsed to the ground, unconscious after Bou's paralyzing attack, his eyes losing its glow as they closed. With it, the boy's chakra dissipated and the clone, disappeared before any harm was done to Nozomi*
*the head monk lowered his head as if relieved and yet saddened by the turn of events.*
*slowly, the rest of the monks began to awaken...*

arrow Rice Country - Overkill? This isn't a game of Kick-the-Ouphe! - Jaya Ballard, Task Mage (sorry, MtG reference xD)
Nozomi was cross. Highly cross. her HORN WAS BROKEN! Still, she didn't have to go up against the super-brat. She grunts and walks over, after stopping the playing of her instrument, and slinging it back into place. The Ash that had been tossed around slowly returns to its proper place in her large satchel. Hmm. She's going to have to get a gourd for that stuff someday. She heard it's been done before, but she can't put her finger on where..and she turns to Bou..
"That was a magnificent pain in my adorable a**. Who were those guys, what the HELL did they want, and what possessed you to go finger-psycho on Aang-who-uses-rogaine over here, other than the fact he was about to go all divinity on us? You didn't kill him did you? We won't get paid if you did.."
Nodding to the kid..giving him one of her usual messed up nicknames..kind of an indian name this time..though it wasn't anywhere near as serious as say, dances-with-wolves.

Bou let his arms down as his Byakuugan deactivated. With one hand, he wiped the sweat from his face and grinned viciously as he rolled the kid around with his foot. "Numb-chucking, any..." He stopped as Nozomi's verbal assault reached him. "Yer a** ain't so adorable to me, girl, and what do you mean what possessed me? The only thing I did different was let him live, thought someone'd be happy to get paid so she could catch up on her latest treatments." He grumbled, stewing, and then called the arachnidae to him.
He picked up the kid and the fat monk and set them down on a moving carpet of spiders, dominated by Bou's will. He shoved the other monks onto it as well before stepping onto it himself. "All aboard, sister. And you there, monks, point me in the right direction." It's apparent Bou had other means of transportation, since the carriage was busted... and this way they couldn't be snuck up on.

arrow Rice Country - oi...FFX all over again...I'm having the hardest time beating Sin...
*The monks were quite cross that Bou had made a move on the temple's heir, but decided they shouldn't reprimand him for fear of death. As the elder(SKINNY) monk tended to "Aang-who-uses-rogaine", the others pointed them in the direction of some distant mountains...*
Elder monk(talking to himself actually): This will be difficult. One must wonder now if he has enough power left within him to complete the ritual...*sigh*

Nozomi just sighs and rubs her broken horn. She turns her head to the old skinny monk, and just shakes her head..
"At least he's not dead, right? I mean the way he was going, he probably would have killed us anyway. Our methods may be roundabout, but everyone's still alive, at least..isn't that what's important?"
Geez, she sounds so much like one of those sappy nins from other villages..but she's an expert in seduction and subterfuge..the art of sucking up often make sure everything goes smoothly..despite how much she hates it.
"Maybe if we'd known what could possibly happen in the first place, with that child's power I mean, it wouldn't have gone down that way. Then again, outside of Sound, we don't run into enemies that use a lot of air techniques..and I don't think that those were Sunagakure nin. If we don't run into anything ELSE on the way, and the boy gets enough rest, he should recover nicely I think. Bou's mean most of the time but underneath it all, he's not such a bad guy. Just kind of..impulsive, you know what I mean?"
Yeah, she's making small talk. She's a courtesan, it's what she DOES. Still, to avoid looking like a demon, first she tears off part of her garments, and wraps the cut on her tail tight..it wasn't TOO Bad..but still. Then she henge's herself to look normal again, and puts her glasses on.
"So tell me..what makes this young man so important, and what's this ritual you speak of? If it's secret or something, then don't worry about it, but it's always good to know some things..we may look like devils, but we're people underneath too.."
She gives the lead monk a nice smile..she's doing what it is she does, and that's talk to people. Of the two of them, she's the negotiator..well, the one that negotiates without the use of a .45. xD

Elder monk: "Miss, you do not have to keep up the small talk. I've seen your kind before during my years and I find that even though your means are effective, you despise it. There's no need to act like that around here."
*The monk gave a sigh and resumed talking...*
"After a master monk's death, the next monk in line, myself, must take charge to find and bring in the one destined to be the next master monk. Thing is...I only have 12 years to find the next master monk. The master monk's primary duty is to keep a demon locked up. This demon will wreak havoc until it has conquered what it deems sufficient territory, slaughtering all within it. After the death, the seal will remain powerful enough to keep the demon sealed for 12 years, which gives me just enough time to find and train the replacement. I traveled far, and sadly enough, the destined one was not located very far away from the temple at all. I discovered him in your village after 2 years of searching. It just barely gave me enough time to begin his training. The master monk-to-be must perform a meditation ritual daily for 10 years before he can perform the sealing ritual. Each day, the meditation stores a bit of chakra inside him. This means, in 10 years, he'll have so much stored up chakra, he'll be able to seal the demon without sacrificing himself. However, having so much pent-up power isn't healthy. It strains the body and mind to have to keep so much within. The mind wishes to release all of it in a rage, relieving the tension."
*the elder monk turned towards Bou...*
"That is what you saw. He released the energy on you instead of on the demon. But now, that is what troubles me. This 12 year old has stored that energy for 10 years. Having released so much, I fear he doesn't have enough for the sealing ritual. If he fails, the temple, and a large radius around it will be destroyed...and sadly, your village is within that radius. To think, this ritual has gone without fail for centuries..."

"Despise it or not, my skills will rust if I don't practice my craft. A courtesan with rusty skills may as well be a rusty dagger. Her tongue cannot cut at a function, her eyes cannot sever egos like an assassins blades sever life, and her whispers will not enflame even when sent with fire. My job depends on me doing what I despise..it's what a ninja does."
She frowns, listening..crossing her arms..
"A demon..a real demon. My family's jutsu have been based on Hell for years, but a real hellbeast. I don't know..that seems a little out of just our league, Bou-sama..I know it's tired hearing it from me, but I wish HE was here..he'd know what to do.."
For her to call him Bou-sama and not Bou-chan, it's a clear indicator she was worried. That didn't happen often..real demons were beyond her. She may look like a demon, but..things like that are usually old, powerful, and could kill most ninja without worrying about it.

I wish I could tell you more about the demon, but I myself do not know much about it. Knowledge of its abilities and powers have long been forgotten. All I know is that it will take more than just you two to even stand on par with it if it breaks loose."

"Well, ultimately, we have no choice at the moment except to see how things go. Man, it's times like this you wish the kid had some kind of chakra-sucker power so he could leech some power off of his surrounding people. That way he'd have more than enough energy to do his thing and everyone can celebrate the day and have cake."
Nozomi sighs, crossing her arms, a sexy little pout appearing on her now human face. She was none too happy about this whole thing, but the idea of a demon intrigued her..if it WAS a demon, maybe she could barter with it. Demons liked sexy women, they liked bargaining, and they liked having information. If she could bargain information, or her body, or both, to learn some techniques of demonic origin..she'd have an edge that NO other ninja would have..except maybe a rare nin or two that thought the same way she did. She hoped it was a major demon. Minor demons sucked for boons.
