A demon slayer walked through the ruins of the once great building.
"Heh, this place sure has gone down hill. This used to be the home of the 'mighty dragoons'. Feh. This dump isn't fit for the rats that live here"
The slayer walked around looking at the reckage of the battle that occured not long ago.
"Well this isn't chronological damage. There was a battle here."
The slayer walked a little more, inspecting the battle zone. He smiled a wicked smile.
"This was a nice battle. There's still blood stained to some of the rocks and even some of the trees."
The slayer laughed quietly.
"Excellent" twisted
The slayer continued to walk through the ruins.

A strong wind gale blasted the man, preventing the demon slayer from going on futher. As he was blowed out of the ruins, he heard a ghostly voice; distinctively femine. "Away trespasser! These sacred ruins hold nothing for the likes of you!"

The man got down to the ground and his nails turned into claws and grabbed onto the ground to stop from blowing away any further.
"Hey, I better be f**king welcome! You the hell are you anyways! Come out here!" scream
The man amazingly stood up against the blasting gale.
"I'm called you out!"

The ghostly voice repeated itself as a second and more powerful gale hit the man. "You have been warned. Leave or die in obscurity."

The scar onthe slayer's face glew red for a second and his muscles began to pump up as his voice slowly changed.
"How dare you make such threats towards me! Show yourself so we can settle this properly. Get out here you cowardly wretch!!!" scream
The man's blue eyes began to look like fire.

Suddenly the wind kicks up the sand, making a violent sandstorm. Just as it appeared, it went away but with Shadow in her human form staring from the center. "Truly a stupid idiot who doesn't know what he's up against," she said as dragoon brushed away her bangs. "So then. Why make your appearance now hm? It's been a long time. Are you the same demon I'm assuming you are?"

Shadow shrugged, "I guess. A few changes here and there but its me none the same." She crossed her arms against her chest and leaned on her right leg, "I don't think you need a tour around here since you know the layout already. What's your reason for being here? Not to pay respects to your human host thats long deceased, thats for sure."

"There's been a large outbreak of demons lately. Most of them are weak, but the numbers are interesting me. I just got back from a massive demon extermination in a small village to the northwest."
The man held up a pouch of money and put it back away.
"I'm just passing through. And what about you? The pet dragon the Lionheart, second leader the once powerful Dragoons. Why are you here? There's nothing here but ruins and graves. There's here worth protecting."
The man walked to the graves and dropped a gold coin on each of the dragoons graves.
"Here, thats for the room and board all those years ago. Spend it wisely"
The man kept walking.
"Interesting... Ocarina has a grave but his Celestial Blade ain't here? Hmm. Looks like the idiot choose a different rest place."
The man took the gold coin off Ocarina Dude's grave, LionHeart's grave, and LoneWolf's grave.
"Hey pet, give this to Lion when you see him"
The man flipped a coin over to Shadow and walked away chuckling.

Shadow snagged the coins out of the air angerily. She had the nerve to just throw back at the back of his head but stopped. He did help a long time ago so it wouldn't be fair. "I'm here to protect the memory of these people...that's a good enough reason." The dragon whispered to herself and disappeared. She'll have to tell Leon about this.

The demon slayer walked out of the ruins.
"The demons are weaker nowadays, but the warriors nowadays are pathetic. The Dragoons used to be a power force. Now its a just a disbanded group of dead warriors and a few hasbeens. Disgraceful"

A portal light magic opens up and out walks a teenage girl, the protal closes behind her. " So these are the ruins she told me about. She was right on the mark. " The girl then walks to a old wall to look at it. " This really great detailed work, but not compeared to castle back home. hehehe. "

Violet appeared in midair over the guild. She'd forgotten the old building was not quite what it used to be.
"Uh-oh..." sweatdrop
With a loud thud the exhausted persocom fell through the second floor where Lonewolf's office had once been, and crash landed in a pile of debris over the once kitchen area.
"Ouchies!!!"

She hears the crash and walks around looking for whatever made the sound. " It was around here somewhere. hmmmm? " sees a little doll looking girl and walks to it, bends down, picks it up in her hands and looks to see if she damaged. " Good nothing is broken or anything near that, just some cuts here and there. I wounder who you are? " She stands back up and walks to a large rock and sits on it, with the doll girl sitll in her hands.

On the outskirts of the ruins, Leon and Shadow calmly walked to the outer wall before the dragoon stopped suddenly. Shadow stopped in her tracks and tilited her head slightly in confusion. She began to speak but Leon cut her off, "Have you noticed that Inferno's and Lonewolf's aura disappeared?"
"Yeah..but I assumed that Inferno just left. With Lonewolf,I have no idea what's going on in his mind, not that I want to know or anything. But..that barrier bothers me. Do you know anything about that?"
Leon turned around halfway so he's looking at Shadow, "No I don't but it's been bothering me. Just like you said, something's big going on...and I want to be ready when it happens. Think your still in shape after all these years?"
The dragoneer scoffed, "You're asking a female dragon if she's in shape? You're lucky that lightining doesn't strike you where you stand now Leon."
He grinned and replied in a teasing tone, "I'll just take that as a no then." Walking away from a gasping Shadow, his grin turned into a frown. "Something is not right. I just know it..." Leon looked up at the main hall, sensing an unfamiliar aura. He pulled out a generic broadsword out of its shealth and held it in a guard as the dragoon walked into the room, "Who's here?! Show yourself!"
