Has anyone heard of the Lee High Rebel Band? That's the band I'm in. This year we are the Texas's Exemplary Band (first ever band to receive the title, yayness!).
ps. MR. STORIE (the director who will only quit when he dies on the marching field) IS INSANE!

Oh, one question for people. Has anyone that plays the Trumpet and is in high school worked on the All-State tryout music yet? I was looking for some advice on the piece with the number 7 in the top left corner? Moderato quarter note=116?

Ugh this years etudes are so.. :/
All of it's technical studies, and they're from the same book. Like my lesson teacher said the other day, "If you can play one Brandt, you can play all the Brandts."
Annnyways
What did you need help with on the second etude? That one's actually my favorite so far to work on haha.
And uh, go Plano Band biggrin
Second place at DeSoto awhhhh yeah.
Actually all the bands were really great on Saturday, I was kind of surprised! Hah

I went to Lonestar!!
...but we didn't do very well.... =(
but Dawson did... for a new school anyways. twas humorous the loud cheers Dawson got from the Pearland area.

Lol yeah, when they were announcing the 3A awards we starting just saying Dawson. We didn't do so hot either, honestly we shouldn't have made finals.

Yeah. it was sad, we didn't make finals... and even alvin made finals...
though perhaps if the sophomores now at dawson hadn't ditched us for their new school, we'd probably be better...

We honestly don't know why we made finals, we blew up pretty much. I saw Alvin and Their show was good, but there were too many mess ups for an easy show. I think we get the benefit of the doubt since our show is so hard.
