Kouzin stood, his leg sore from the move that shijo placed upon him. "hai...i will shijo-san. although you were fighting unfairly. you tell me not to use chakra and you do that rubber-man move." he said with a chuckle. he had already learned something vital to future survival, something that never would hace occured to him on his own.

"That wasn't a jutsu." He said walking over and kneeling down to him. "That was being flexible, and strong. Takes practice." He too clapped his hands together and rubbed them violently. "You are strong kid, but I still got five years of growth on you." He complamented. Once his hands were hot, he began to massage Kouzin's knee.

"i'll chew on that when the chuunin exams roll around" he said jestfully. his knee felt completely well within minutes. "that is if i get assigned by then" he said with a sigh. he had expected to be placed today but he had to wait.

He rolled back, so there was some space between them. "That was some good sparring. Lets do a quick 100 push ups, then have another round." He said, cranking out push ups.

"i won't be taken down as easily...now that i know what you can do." he said as he set down for his round of pushups. at arounf number 35 he switched to one hand to finish it out.

"Make sure to work both arms." He instructed, not wanting his strength to turn out lop-sided. He his pushups alternated, first twenty were regular, then ten each for right and left hand, then twenty clappers, twenty extra wide, and finished off with twenty diamonds.

"i know, i know....i did 65 with my other hand before you got here. i never slept, remember?" he said as he expelled chakra on the las pushup, launching him straightr onto his feet. "so...you ready?" he asked.

He sat up, "You're just a little wierd." He laughed. and popped up onto his feet. He then feel back into a cat stance. "Your move."

Shijo started to skip backwards, keeping his stance. His speed was barely half of Kouzin's, but it would make it that much harder for him to catch up.

"i gotta watch out for that rubber-band defense" he thought as he finished his charge. he threw a flying palm strike towards shijo's left shoulder with his right hand.

Shijo intercepted the strike with his right hand, planting his feet to cause him to fall backwards. Then, dragging Kouzin along with him, he shot his left leg out infront of Kouzin, and his back leg behind his knees, delivering a scissor kick.

Hikoto jumped off the arena roof and used his chakra to land on the arena wall like a lizard and sat watching
