Hayate pressed his lips to the top of Kaya's head, "Mmm...you'll love it..." Frowning, he wondered just what the other had been living on. "Say, Kaya...what have you had?" Yes, now that they were lovers, it was his duty to worry about the other's welfare.

Kaya smiled lightly at the caress to the top of his head, blind eyes sparkling lightly. They sensed and saw all just good as normal eyes and their blurred white color was fairly attractive and at the question those very eyes looked up at the eye's of his demon lover, "Well... uh..."
And then the eyes fell to the floor, fingers curling away from the warm body of the other and into a lightly grasped fist instead, the same appendages curling against the palm. "This and that..." The gentle angel didn't want to worry the other, so it was best not to say.
It was so suprising, how in the course of a single day, he had changed so utterly. In the beginning of it all, he'd been the mysterious one simply seeking for his lost friend, simply seeking out the answers and the hope; All the wisdom in his mind could not save him from the love in his heart. From the second his wings brought him to the other he knew it was the end of his composure. The long standing priestly role, the ... angelic... posture and attitude. Concentrating the little powers he had left to help others while still helping himself, and yet... it was all for this man. For this demon. He'd given up every thing he'd ever had to be with the other and now even his mask of the Buddha would fade and falter under the loving gaze of Hayate. In all his years, Azikayal could never have believed that the other would love him, that the other would've died for him and that the other had sacrificed just as much although he perhaps hadn't realized it. The world was bleak when you're alone, however... Kaya was no longer alone and with Tae by his side, it seemed brighter and easier to be himself. To be... the kind and caring lover he'd always wanted a chance to be.
Besides... gay men weren't allowed in Heaven anyway...

That worried him, and though he did not say it, it appeared in his expression..something that flickered through his eyes. "This and that?" He poked the angel gingerly in the side. "Hmm...this and that has apparently been not much. You're going to eat more whilst I'm around..." That was emphatic and was going to be enforced as necessary. Arriving in the beige and mahoghany tiled kitchen, Hayate then went to the refrigerator, poking about in there for the ingredients and such that he'd need.

Azikayal flinched slightly and cowered cutely under the ever watchful, ever caring gaze of his boyfriend. "...I'm sorry Tae..." he muttered pathetically as he watched the demon look for ingredients. He didn't know what it was or how to make it however, otherwise he'd have offered to help.

He turned around with the milk carton in his hand, setting it down on the counter, he abandoned it and came back over to his lover. "Hey..." Hayate twined an arm around Kaya's waist again. "You don't have to be sorry, it's not really your fault, you know..." Lips brushed the angel's forehead as the demon lingered a long moment. This closeness...was addictive.

The angel watched him with a smooth gaze and nodded in agreement, though, at this point Kaya was at the mercy of the demon and would do anything the other asked. Always and forever. "Alright..."
It's true, letting go seemed so bland and normal but it had to be done for Kaya's stomach protested to the stall with which Hayate hastened (or did not hasten) to quiet it with substanance. Laughing lightly he pushed the other away fondly and said, "Teach me how to make this ... stuff..."

Hayate tweaked the angel's nose playfully, "All right then, Lovely... get me the flour and we'll make like we're starting to cook." was the teasing reply. "Find something to nibble on whilst your at it." He hunted for the waffle-iron in one of the cabinets, head disappearing for a moment.

"Flour, that's... the white... powder right? Where is it?" Azikayal said lamely. He was entirely hopeless when it came to food, but perhaps that was a bonus for Hayate, he'd get to see his lover scramble around cutely trying to cook. He'd gotten over the nervousness of his lack of fabrics and was now trying to get over the awkwardness of not knowing much of anything about kitchens.

He grinned, seeing the slightly flustered look, that was indeed adorable, on Kaya's face. "Yes it is, and second shelf in the refrigerator, Lovely..." It seemed that the other really had not at all been given the opportunity for even a semblence of normal life, but Hayate wanted to give that to him.

Kaya ventured to the spot of the flour, found it, took it and proceeded to hold it waiting for more instructions on what should be done with it. He looked rather nervous and embaressed, as if Hayate was making fun of him. "...Kay..." He muttered to indicate he had it.

He glanced over at him, "Oh...you found it." Smiling, he gave his lover a quick kiss on the lips, and then offering him a measuring cup. "I need two cups in..." The demon took a bowl down from yet another cabinet, "...this bowl..." Hayate was apparently at home in the kitchen, and was off in search of more ingredients.

"Uh yea I..." And then his words were stolen by the kiss, which he didn't have a moment to savor, then furthermore he was handed a cup and looked thoroughly awkward. Going over to the nearest counter, preferably the one near the bowl, he tilted his head. "Two... of these?" He waved the measuring cup, not expecting an answer. Then he dug the measuring cup into the bag of flour and pulled out a heap of it, "...this is a lot..." He wondered if perhaps he should... level?... it off. Poor Azikayal was not at home however and was getting nervous.

He turned towards his lover at the latter statement, "Yes...get the flour level with the cup, Kaya..." Gentle instruction as he mixed together several wet ingredients in another bowl. Sticking a finger in the flour, he then touched it to the angel's nose, teasing him just a little.

He did as he was told and then had flour on his nose just as he was leveling the second cup, dumping it in and setting the cup on the counter he pawed at his nose whining like the playful uke he was, "That's not nice babe..." He gave a cute grin as he had smudged the flour all over his face and now looked like a cute white mess. Soon it would be in his hair and he'd look like a ghost, white face hair and already white eyes... well it was definately a 'Kodak Moment'.

He laughed and kissed his flour-smudged lover. "Mmm...I think I'd rather eat you instead of the waffles..." Hayate teased, wiping some of the white stuff off Kaya's face with his cleaner fingers. "You're adorable, Lovely...but I think that belongs in the bowl..."
