Darkstu watched as her bounty head bent backwards to dodge the black pellet. Before darkstu could protest at the absurtity of the sudden ability to dodge speeding pebbles from the all powerful Sling Fire, a rather large distortion in the air caught her attention.
Darkstu held her ground, the almost invisible attack rushed though her. The dark one grinned. She was correct in her assumption. The attack was not physical. Darkstu prided herself on her ability to be immune to any attack that isn't physical. The only problem with this was, although the attack did not effect her, it wiped out the tree she was perched in.
Her bottom hit the ground rather hard.

Jones had been a busy lich.
Throughout the various battles and antics of those around him, along with the quickly growing forest fire that threatened all sorts of ecological mayhem, he remained quite calm...the repeated items that seemed to be magnetically drawn to his skull (bullets, daggers, Slingfire's stray shot) were a little peevish though...
Anyone watching the robe-wearing undead would find him absently spinning in a circle slowly, his boney hands working in constantly furious motions as trails of light seeped from their tips. It took quite a while to make a sigil as large as the one he was working on, so it was with a content sigh and useless wipe of his non-existant brow did he finish it.
"There..." he nodded as he activated the spell.
All a sudden, night had apparently come hours early for the forest as the sky went pitch black. No stars or moon though...how curious. It'd only take seconds before those within the burning woods would realize that it was still daylight out, but for some reason a massive roiling spanse of umbra had manifested in the sky large enough to literally blanket the entire forest. With a mighty 'WHOOMPH!' the tangible darkness came crashing down upon the miles of burning forest, instantly snuffing out the flames like a candlestop.
The side effect might've been a little annoying...anyone not immune to magic would find themselves faceplanting into the ground as the overwhelming, though strangely non-damaging weight came down upon them. No pain, just agitation; within seconds the darkness faded away into nothingness, allowing any caught beneath it to rise and continue on as they were. The populace of the woods, as well as the trees themselves, seemed no worse for the wear.
"Thus, mine good deed for the day." Jones would've grinned if he'd had a lower jaw as he clapped his hands together, pleased with the spell.

Animeistro had never tasted dirt before, but his childhood assumption of it tasting horrible was definately on the money, as he found himself suddently face first in it.
Standing up coughing he looked around to see what had happened. It appeared as though waht had knocked him down had also put out the fire, which was gratifying because the smoke was starting to build up. He also noticed that one figure seemed not to be affected by the previous crushing force thing.
Making his way over to him, shaking off his invisibility for the moment, he asked in the calmest voice he could muster at the moment.
"What the hell was that?!"

Oh, yes. Kuro was suddenly happy he had fallen, as for a few seconds It felt like something was pushing him downwards. He opened his eyes again.
Oooooh, how he wished he didn't always stick out like a sore thumb color-wise.
Bright Orange and Black against Green and charred trees. Wonderful.
Well, the simple solution was to "Borrow" a diffrent form. The Closer to home, the easier. That's why an old schoolmate came to mind, and Kuro shifted.
Other then the clothes, the wound, and the lack of any power other then the same speed he would normally have, he could have been the real Hell Hound. On a very bad day.
Still wincing about the Rib, he tried to not be seen.

As the previously invisible stranger promptly made himself noticable so close, Jones gave a yelp of surprise and wheeled back a few paces with his hand over a non-existant heart.
"GAH-ith! I wouldst kindly ask thee not to do that!" it was bizarre seeing an obvious undead being spooked, but hey, there were stranger things in the world. Gathering his wits about him, Jones recomposed himself and uselessly cleared his equally non-existant throat. He was just full of habits, wasn't he?
"That was a manifestation spell...quite impressive, nay? Could I ash your opinion of it? Mayhaps it was a bit heavy handed for the moment, but be not as if I'd get fired for keeping mine spells up to snuff."

Gathering what he could from the cloaked form he nodded his head, trying to sift through the torrent of horrible puns directed at him
"So, you put the fire out while crushing everyone?" He asked with an amused smile.
"Sorry about the whole invisibility thing, my fun would be ruined if they knew I was around." He said, looking around.
"So what else can you do?" He asked, attempting to put his arm around his shoulder and finding nothing there to support him, toppling forward.

"Hast thee ever heard the phrase 'Solve all thy problems, magic cannot'? Well it's wrong; magic absolutely can. There be not a single problem that cannot be solved by throwing enough spells at it...or ninjas; whicheither be more relevant at the moment." he boasted with hands on his not-actually-hips. "Thus, I can do anything. Reality itself doth be mine b***h. How many people dost thou know can put out a forest fire by drawing lines in the air?"
Ah, just what the world needed...another mage with a superiority complex.

Tally's suit gave a great shudder, slowed to a stop, and fell to the ground. She tried to get up, but her suit simply wouldn't move. The cool, robotic voice sounded. "Magic overload. Ejecting user." Tally's eyes widened. "What? No!" Suddenly, she was thrown into the air and landed with a thud some twenty feet away. The suit spoke again. "Rebooting. Process will take 48 hours." Tally glared at her suit. "Stupid piece of junk..." She stood up, devoid of suit and feeling highly unprotected. Still, it was lucky she had prepared in case such a thing ever happened. She made her way over to her suit and looked it over. No real damage was visible, so the impressive blast of magic must have messed with the computers. Tally cursed softly. She couldn't go around looking normal for two days, which is indeed how she looked in her jeans and long sleeved shirt. She rolled up her sleeves, not even registering the lack of skin on parts of her arms. Even her bones were visible in some places. Giving her suit one last angry kick, Tally set off in no particular direction, exploding three more trees in her anger.
((That's pretty calm for her, mind.))
