Well, I guess so. Though I would personally preffer that than the Star Warriors being a dieng breed. It makes me think that I haven't started the seiries earlier enough, or I missed something.

Though they are not a dying breed...a tone just died and it will take awhile before more are born. However I see your point. It is a shame that it makes it seem like there are no Star Warriors anymore. However it shows just how special they are?

Maybe.
You know, somebody should write a fanfic or something about another star warrior being born. Or maybe they're afraid to because they don't want people to think their character is a mary sue?

You know, somebody should write a fanfic or something about another star warrior being born. Or maybe they're afraid to because they don't want people to think their character is a mary sue? Pretty much any character that is not a part of the original story will be considered a Mary Sue. I think that is generally how it works.... One of the reason's I don't write fan fics. I would like to add a character or so but then it would be a Mary Sue and no one likes that. (Though Mary Sues are only a real problem when they fall in love with a main character or are the center of attention 24/7. )

I actually did create a character that was supposed to be one of the "New generation of star warriors" but I don't really feel like writing about her. But falling in love wouldn't be a problem 'cause she's still just a kid.

Well see thats not too bad but I understand not writing about her. A character I created a long time ago and still work on is meant to interact with a lot of other characters from other shows (its a long story) but it sounds too Mary sueish even if its not me, so I never write about it. I want to make up a background story for her thats all her own anyway. First I would like o DRAW her though... Sorry off topic. I think of this character a lot sometimes. She means quite a bit to me.
Either way, its good that your character doesn't fall in love at least. Thats what usually defines a lot of Mary Sue characters. They fall in love with a million of the hottest characters. Then they are perfect, super powerful, etc.

I guess in the Kirby universe, being a star warrior would be enough to be a mary sue.

Yeah well I was trying to avoid her being a Mary sue though I guess she seemed just like it. Everyone seems to have the same idea. Thats why I want to create a background to her thats different and her own. (Also, most people would accuse her background right now to being too much like Kingdom Hearts. Doesn't matter if I made up the idea when I was 7 years old and way before the game. It would still be KH....)
And Nomad, yes it would. The instant you put that tag on the character then they would think that. I guess the only way for it not to be considered a Mary sue is if its a character that everyone hates and has very little to do with the plot. But then what the ******** would be the point in that. Dang this kinda bites. Everything is a Mary sue. Sometimes people just want to add to a story thats kinda limited and to do that you need new characters. *sigh*

That sucks. And really, it's only something I've seen in the Kirby fandom.
There were more star warriors than just Kirby and Meta Knight. If they were the only two, than putting the star warrior label on someone would be as bad as making a Legend of Zelda fan character a holder of the triforce.
But there's more than a set number of how ever many there can be, so it really should be like creating a Jedi fan character for Star Wars (which isn't that bad) or a Spartain fan character for Halo. (Also not that bad.)
Why does star warrior have to be one of the "forbidden" titles like the holder of the triforce or the only one who can defeat Voldemort?
Oh, and slightly off topic, I've created annother fan character named Nyx (named after one of pluto's recently discovered moons) who is a gag character. She's a human character, and does fall in love, but it's one sided, and is ment to be funny. (She represents Meta Knight's fanbase.) And because "Nyx" is also the name of a mythical god of the dead, I've also decided to give her powers of necromancy, but to make it funny, she also makes clones of the dead she makes. This is to drive Meta Knight insane, or just piss him off. Mary sue-ish? Yes, but it's supposed to be funny.

Well Star Warrior shouldn't be a forbidden label. I guess you could make one since a Star Warrior isn't supposed to be that rare. I don't know. I have not read any Kirby fan fics and I don't know what people say or think. I am speculating.
That would be kinda funny if you make it very obvious that its a gag fan fic. Poor Meta Knight though. He doesn't deserve that.....(Actually if you really want to scare him then you will make a fan girl demon beast.)

I've read a few Kirby fanfics. But I found a really good comic that tops them all. It's about MK, Sword and Blade before the anime series. (And they made Sword a girl in disguise. I like that idea.) Go see it for yourself.
