Yes, that's fine, you can choose more than one if you must. I guess I would have a dragon familiar and probably some kind of demon as well.

The demon familiar in SotN was quite strange. After I got him, it took me a while to figure out what kept saying "die!" I thought it was some monster telling Alucard to croak it.

Never heard of Andre Norton. confused

~~***~~

Anyhow, I have a new question to ask.
"If you had the chance to live in any kind of medieval residence, what would it be?"

Personally, if I was rich I'd choose a castle or a stately home, but if I was a regular middle class person, I'd choose either a house made out of flint or one of those white ones with the black stripes on them. They tend to have low ceilings though mad . I like the wooden beams inside too, and the open fireplaces.

hmm, well for the past few years I've always wanted to have an inn. A traditional medieval type one, with a stables and folk music playing and things like that. I could see myself living and working in one.
something like this:

that's the New Inn in Gloucester. It's a very old drawing. The inn itself was built around 1430 But the Inn still stands today, I've visited it, it was a fantastic building, it still had signs up with the prices for keeping horses stabled!

I'm certain I've read something by her, but I can't recall what.

I'd probably have to go with a castle (price being no object), with some nice celtic tapestries.
