Nodding mutely and eyes fixed on the pallas cat as though convinced it was going to pounce and attempt to kill her, Lenore grabbed Malachi's arm and let herself be lead anywhere he wanted to go.

Shrugging slightly, Ethan glanced around. Caged animals, kids, people milling around...meh.

"Not really," he said, hands shoved into his pockets. "I was supposed to keep an eye on Doll, but she's kind of...disappeared."

Ike started off toward a cotton candy vendor adn purchased one for each of them.

"Here," he grinned and handed Len hers.

God damn it, he was going to get himself sugar-high before the end of the day!

"Well, I'm sure she's only about as dangerous as me," Björn said, eyes widening immediately after he realized what he'd said, "Maybe we'd better go find her?"

"Hey...why'd they stick you with the psychotic toy, anyway?"

Chii went from one cage to another, "Nomi! Where are you?!" her voice called out, her ears alert to every noise trying to pick up any sign her son's voice. She was so small she couldn't depend on her eyes, so she used her ears, just another perk of being a hunter. After pushing her way through the crowd, she saw some kids, about the age of Nomi. I'll ask them if they have seen him. she thought while walking twards them. "um.. excuse me," she started hoping they could help her.

Osso leveled his head as Doll kneeled down. At her humerous name for him, he gave a small smile before correcting her. "My name's Osso...not Ocelot-watching boy," his voice was good-natured as he continued his eyeless inspection. She reminded him of Sally...

"Oooh, thank you," Len said, ripping a bit off and sniffing at it before popping it into her mouth. She brightened at the taste of warm, pure sugar and eagerly bit into the rest. "Mm. Really good."

Licking her sticky lips, she grinned with slight sugar-powered mania. Perhaps there was a reason Crow tried to keep her away from sugar...

Ethan laughed, then paled slightly as he got the grasp of the statement.

"She's said she's killed people before," he said, eyes searching through a gray-haired, white-skinned ragdoll. "Well...she's got the mentality of a seven year old. She kinda sticks around with me anyway when Crow isn't around. Julian scares her for some reason."

"Yer welcome," Ike nodded and carefully pulled a bit off, popping it into his mouth. He was quite knowledgable when it came to stickiness-in-fur, and he still hated it.

"Whaddya wanna do?" he asked, looking around, Osso now almost completely gone from his mind.

"Hm...weird. Maybe he was the usual big-borhter type and stole her once or twice. Who knows?" Björn stated and looked easily around the crowd.

Absurd height was a good thing sometimes.

"She's over there not-killing a small child. I think that's good."

She looked at the ground for a moment, Maybe they didn't hear me.. She looked back up at the two. "Um.. H-Hello.." she said a little louder. They seemed to be enjoying cotton candy. Chii wasn't much taller then the two, she could pass for a kid if she wanted to.

Half-finished with her cotton candy already, Lenore glanced around.

"Huh...well, animals in cages is kinda depressing, innit? We could always check out th' other tents. Betcha there's a tent with like...hmm. Dead alien bodies in jars or something."

"Maybe. She's almost as tall as he is, though. Must've been hard," Ethan replied, relieved when Bjorn spotted her. "Ah, okay. She likes kids...it's adults she has trouble getting along with."

He shivered slightly, remembering a disastrous visit to the supermarket a few weeks back.

"She has personal space issues."

"Oooh, Osso. Nice name, better than Ocelot-watching boy. You make a nice Osso. I do not know what it means, but it is a good name for you," Doll said, plunking down on the ground and beaming at the boy. "Tell me, are you all alone? Did your parents come with you? My family went to visit friends, left me alone, and since Crow says I may not kill things, I decided to visit the aminals!"

Her words were cheerful and bubbly, and her mispronunciation of "animals" could bring into question of just how mature Doll's mindset really was.

Osso remained standing, though was now leaning fully on the guardbar. "My mom and stuff is somewhere over near that huge group of people," he said and waved a hand in the general direction of the tent entrance. "I saw someone I knew earlier but...yeah," he ended lamely before changing subjects.

"kill things?"

Delphine looked at Rose in shock. "Woo is mine!" she said suddenly, "Woo is sposed be at my house." She paused and added, "In the sink."

"Poor things," Kay said motioning towards the lioness. "I can't help but feel a bit sorry for them being caged up like that."

The fish-kitty stared at Rose for a moment wondering how she would have gotten Roo from her house. A horrid idea suddenly came to her and she turned to look at her mother. "Maaahmee!!" She whined loudly, "Did you give Woo to her??" she glared at Kay accusingly, while one hand pointed at Rose.

Green nodded her agreement and then recalled the time she'd mistakenly taken her Nature daughter to the zoo and the child had freed more than a few animals; dangerous and gentle. She still couldn't believe they'd made it out of there without getting caught.

"It is cruel," she sighed and gazed in turn somewhat sympathetically at the lion and the panther. Her feelings towards the creatures changed drastically, however, when the lioness growled again. She'd rather they were behind the bars than not. It was safer this way.

This was all just too much for her to take in. The prospect that Woo was anywhere but in her crib or on her personal person at all times was a terrifying one and, eager to prove Delphi wrong, Rose raced over to her mother and tugged hard on the woman's pantleg.

"Woo no," she declared pointedly as though her statement made all the sense in the world.

Indeed, this was quite a scandal. So much so, in fact, that the toddler was far too caught up in her own worries that she didn't notice Nomi lurking nearby.

((@Chii: Just a note, hon, Rose isn't chewing on a kangaroo plushie.^^))

Nomi tilted his head as the little bunny child ran to someone and tugged on her pantleg. He then turned his attention to the little tirger striped baby. This one spark his curiousity even more, he had never seen something as complex and yet cute at the same time. then again this was the first time he can recall even seeing a baby before. His tail waved and without realizeing it he put his hand on one of the lion's cage bars. The Lion snarled and charged at Nomi as if trying to defend his territory. Nomi jumped back with a kitten's yelp. "Mrreew!" His tail bristled and he stood back looking the lion in the eyes with true terror.

Kay winced slightly at the loud growl, "Probably better that they're in there though; what with all the children around and all." she added hastily and then looked down feeling a tug on her jeans.

"Mummeeee!" Delphine whined again.

The seer ruffled her hair affectionately, "I would never give Roo away sweety, whatever gave you that idea?"
She looked over at Green to see what she was making of all of this and noticed Rose clinging to her pantleg. "Something tells me," she began stepping closer to the other mishap and guardian, "that there may have been some kind of misunderstanding going on here."

"That's exactly what I was thinking," Green smiled at Kay and then, distracted by the feel of her own daughter tugging on her pants, blinked down at the little girl in surprise.

What kind of misunderstanding? They were only toddlers, after all.

"What's wrong, honey?" Green cooed, picked the toddler up by the armpits and settled her onto her hip.

"Woo!" Rose stared at Delphine through suspicious eyes.

The blonde woman mauled over everything that could possibly have gone wrong between the toddlers. When she failed to come up with any outstanding solution, Green shrugged and cast a startled glance back over her shoulder at Nomi who'd made a rather frightened sound.

Where was that child's mother?

Knowing that it wasn't her concern and fearing that she may have been accused of attempting to be one of those horrible men and women that try to catch children, Green could only blink at the child and then turn back to Kay.

"Rose has a stuffed kangaroo plushie at home named Woo," she said conversatinonally. It was the only connection to the toddlers' problem that she could think of.

At Green's mention of Woo, Delphine turned to look at her. "Woo mine! Give him back!" She was about to storm over to the woman when Kay grabbed hold over her arms and pulled her up short. She stopped and scowled at her mother. How dare she let this lady get away with Woo-napping!

Understanding suddenly dawned on Kay. "So does Delphine." she said slowly and then picked up the 'on the verge of a tanty' toddler. "What a coincidence." She shook her head and poked Delphine, "Did you think Rose had your Roo?"

Delphine nodded emphatically, "She said, she said, Woo was at her house!"

"No!" Rose snapped at Delphine from her safe perch on her mother's hip. She would not give Woo to her. Woo belonged with Rose and only Rose.

It was quite the missunderstanding. Green chuckled and inclined her head towards Rose, "Honey, you and Delphine both have a Woo."

"Woo isn't muddy!" Rose exclaimed indignantly and, still securely attached to her mother's hip, leaned as close as she could to the other toddler.
