*smiles* Right on, Slim.
And if you ever have any questions to ask when it's just you and me, just ask it. I'll tell you everything there is to know.

:::The self concious feeling lingered, but she felt better having Luke's permission to ask him whenever she wasn't sure about something:::
Alright... what are we going to eat?

I was going to get you an all-famous Philly Cheesesteak. But *sigh* You're a herbivore.
*grabs his car keys off the dresser* So Pizza's gonna have to do.

:::She followed along closely, but began to explain to him with some concern::: ...I think you're confused Luke. I have not even SEEN a plant, let alone eaten one. Well, that is, not while I was in my world....
:: razz erhaps there were more pressing issues at hand:::
What is pizza?

The greatest food ever created. *Thinks because beer's a drink* *Luke locks up behind them and starts to walk down the hall.*
It's round, it's greasy, it's delicious...
*As he's walking, he reaches down and picks up an empty Dominos box that had been cast aside.* It comes in one of these. You'll like it.

:::But Cora is already mystified by her strange surroundings as the exit the room. Her eyes begin to wander again, and she really only half hears what Luke is saying:::
...alright.

It must be pretty weird being here, huh?

:::Finally, someone is asking her the questions for a change:::
Hmh... :::She nods::: Truly, it is like nothing I've ever seen before. I had imagined your world, and everyone elses in a way, conceptualizing what I'd learned in my lessons, but the reality is just...so different.

Well, I mean, c'mon, Slim. You were going crazy in your world. They strap you up in a military uniform and jam a rulebook up your a** and they expect all systems to be "nominal". *He remembers when she came back.* You were losing your mind there.
Now you're in the Brink, and as you said - who knows how long you've been shacked up there.
*smirks, shrugs* It sounds to me like a change of reality's the best thing for you.

Things are rather strange, aren't they...?

Only on your end, babe.
*The elevator doors pop open. This time, there are three other guys in the elevator.*
*One of the guys knocks knuckles with Luke as they step inside.* "Hey, Blaize."
"Hey, Tucker."
"What's going on?"
"Goin to the city." *points to Cora* "She's never been, so I'm playing tour guide."
*looks to Cora* "Oh yeah? Where're you from?"

Uhb...um. Canada Ontoria.

*Luke waits for Tucker's reaction before he says anything.*
"Oh yeah?" *Tucker says. He doesn't notice the mistake. He doesn't know anything about cities in Canada. He figures it must be a part he hasn't heard of.* "That's cool."
*The elevator comes to a stop and everyone files out.*
*Tucker nodded to Luke and then Cora.* "Alright. You kids have fun."
*Luke nods back and says.* "Always, man."
*They parted ways from Tucker and went in the opposite direction towards the parking lot in back of the dorm building.*
See? I told you. Mention Canada and you've got nothing to worry about.
*corrects her* Except it's ONTARIO. *grins and snickers* Not ONTORIA.

Hey. *grabs her shoulder and squeezes it* Lighten up, Slim. Nobody here's gonna give you the third degree. Tests are over, okay? All you have to do tonight is party it up.
