behhh bandlationships never last... unless they were mean to be... especially if it's a percussionist and color guard memeber, once marching season is done... the ship is done...

A relationship?...in band?...wow. Almost any girl in my band that qualifies as "hot" (only one his hot AND cool in my band and i covet her...too bad she won't go out with any of us...any who) are eiter a total b***h, snob, or have a bf OUTside the band. Come to think about, i'm the only to have a relateship inside the band. And it ended Jan 17, 05. She was a clarinet and WAY too open. *shudders at the thought of what was said* And she took things to personal and was always whining. Oh, well! And the girl i'm after now, quit band last year.
FYI, i'm always after a clarinet or a flute...don't know why...me, a trumpet...with a reedsucker...who'd a'thunk it?

I find it a little difficult to have a serious relationship with a band guy. Just because I'm around them so much that we end up being friends. The ones who I once had the biggest crushes on are the ones I hang around a lot now.

we band people tend to stick together.. My band is made up of some looong lasting couples.. like.. a senoir clarinet and a junior trumpet have been going out since the senior's 7th grade, when they met in band class. Kinda sweet, huh?
it can also be kinda difficult if you break up with someone in the band.. cause you still gotta deal with them for however long you have left there.

[HellWicket] I've noticed that too. Infact, I don't think I'd date anyone outside of band simply because my life is music centered and it seems that the only mature people in our high school are in band. It's kinda weird though because we're one big happy band family, and there is always constant insest.... ....Does it count that most of the non-band people at our school think we're a cult and have massive orgies together?...^^; Yup. Sounds a lot like my school. Except that its the band geeks that are a "cult". Since we all go out together a lot, and are really close friends, or couples. My friends outside have decided that band camp is actually a massive orgy-fest. With small breaks to go swimming. Hehe.

night_watcher2 it can also be kinda difficult if you break up with someone in the band.. cause you still gotta deal with them for however long you have left there. yeah i know what you mean.....these people told this guy (sophmore, percussion) that i (freshman, guard) liked him and like yeah anyway we hate eachother now and we're stuck with eachother til he graduates......and then theres the tuba and sax that were going out for like forever this year, but then the sax broke up with the tuba and ran off with some percussion guy a year younger than her and the tuba took his name off of the spring trip list and like they dont talk anymore so yeah..........thats why it sux when that happens in band....

One of the tuba cubbies in our storage room (known to those who frequent the band room as The Dungeon), is the infamous Locker Number 7. It was where about 3 or 4 years ago, a brave couple had sex. whee
I dated the oldest alto sax because of his mad DDR skills, but when he got a little freakishly (and disturbingly) serious about me and started threatening suicide if I ever broke up with him, I naturally dumped him. *rolls eyes* Nothing really bad happened with him, since he is a senior and realized how pathetic he was pining over someone almost 5 years his junior, which was good. However, I began dating my lover (bari sax, sophomore) two months after breaking up with the alto sax senior, but people still were convinced that I broke up with the first guy to go with the second. *sigh* Erg, band slut. Except for the fact that it wasn't my fault. I was just a desperate little freshie who wanted a boyfriend and decided to go with who was available, even though I had a large crush on the bari sax player.
Wow, I can't believe I just ranted this. gonk I need to get out more.
Well alto sax boy and I are relatively cool now, but be careful about who you date in band because you don't want to break up and have to be next to them during drill, or something. whee I am so glad that the first was a senior, though, so I don't have to deal with him anymore after another month! *punches fist into air*
That came off making me look awful. *shakes head* Crazy band nerds.
I am not a slut! I have been dating my bari sax man for 2 months and I have only kissed him normally! He hasn't tongue raped me!
Wow, band geeks are so perverted.

It's sad, because in my school it's kind of the opposite.
I think I'm just one of those odd band nerds that accidentally does everything different. o.o Seriously. 3 out of the 4 guys I've dated have been in band, none of them at the time I was going out with them (two of them before, and one after. No, I didn't convert him to band geekism. Plus, he dropped band two years later). In fact, one of them even hates the band because he hates the director. o.O

In our band room, we even have a naked room. It is a practice room used for changing for concerts. But the relationships in our band are made up of a brass player and a percussionist. I'm a French horn and I'm dating a percussionist (gaia name: Dealer_of_Death)! The woodwinds don't have a chance with either section. Oh well.

There could be just about any insrtument combination in my band. Most of us get along pretty good...most of the time stressed
Yeah my boyfriend is in band, actually he sits 2 seats away from me (I'm 2nd chair flute and he's 1st clarinet).
There really isn't a whole lot of sexual stuff in our band...that I know of. We do have perverted people, but then, who in band isn't a perv in some way? (band has corrupted me).
