Oasis
In all the worlds, he had never met such a bothersome group before. Pride looked slowly at the lion and lioness that now approached them. A scar… dark eyes… Appearances clicked in place with their owners’ names. Tifa and Saix? That was one from Organization XIII. Now where could the others be?
“Listen carefully as I will explain so even you lackwits can understand.” The Heartless held up one slender finger, counting. “One, my business is of no concern to you.” He held up a second finger. “Two, I never said that I wanted to be here in this flea-ridden world to begin with. Your assumptions are growing more and more inaccurate, Nobody.”
He then turned to Zidane and scoffed. “Do you think it is wise to charge into enemy territory without knowing your enemy, Genome? Of course you weren’t trained in war tactics, were you? Unless you count the seek-and-destroy tactic, you must forgive me for my error.” Pride smirked as he finished speaking, watching carefully as Xigbar fled the oasis.
"So, you're Pride. I can't wait to see the gore as you suffer like that Heartless woman."
Number Two glanced back at Saix, whose eyes were now a deep shade of crimson. Intrigued, Pride turned to inspect him further. There was nothing physically different from Saix except for the eye color. But this presence… It was not the same as Saix’s…
“You underestimate me, Nobody.” Pride glared. “Keep in mind that Lust was six out of seven while I am second. As I just told your friend, do not wear my already thin patience.”

Dias growled at Pride's words. "I don't give a rat's a** about your stupid ranking system!" He snapped angerly. Before giving anything another thought the Berserker charged at Pride.
You'll never win. He's Zexion's Heartless...he'll figure out your move two steps ahead of you. Not to mention he's faster. Saix told Dias. He may have been trying to gain control again, but he would rather live then have Dias kill himself and take the Ex-Nobody with him.
Dias growled, and stopped a few feet from his target. Saix was right...for once. Dias' growls never stopped as he glared angerly at Pride, tail flickering madly in clear aggrivation.

Pride Lands--Oasis
"I don't give a rat's a** about your stupid ranking system!" Damn, was Saix loud! Axel lifted his head groggily, and yawned, one fuzzy paw covering his mouth. The red-maned lion had been laying on his stomach, sleeping. Whoa. When'd he fall asleep? Eh, it didn't matter. Emerald eyes opened, only to see Saix yelling at...Pride?!
Axel jumped to his feet, suddenly alert. Seifer was there, Tifa, that other chick, and Zidane. And Lust. Or Lust's mangled face, rather. Saix...definitely wasn't himself. He looked too angry. Well, nobody liked Pride, but that was over the top.
What the hell was happening?

Savannah
Frowning as Xigbar ran off, with his proverbial tail between his legs, Tifa felt a faint wave of disgust - if there was one thing she hated, it was a coward.
However, she didn't have any spare time to waste even as she watched Saix become Dias again. Her distaste for the freeshooter's actions turning to something akin to confusion and a strange sense of apprehension, Tifa turned back to Saix/Dias, trying to figure out the best course of action. Should she attack, try to stop him again?
She watched as Dias' tail flicked angrily; it was clear that he was aggravated, but what was she to do? What could she say?

Oasis
Fool. All ignorant fools. Placidly, Pride watched as Saix’s intruder quickly closed the distance that lay between them but suddenly stopped. With a “Tch”, the Heartless instantly disappeared with an inconceivable speed only to reappear at Dias’ side. Taking a handful of fur and lifting the lion up, he bent close and whispered so only his target could hear. “Then I suggest you do unless you wish to end up like Lust.” With that said, he propelled the lion forward and slung him into the air, moving him from his path.
With a look of pure arrogance, the Heartless then turned his back to Dias and the others, walking back to the corpse of Lust. With a wave of a hand, a pool of darkness blossomed beneath the body, consuming it and pulling it into its depths.
Turning back, Pride opened yet another portal of darkness, this time for himself. He glared with a look of disgust before completely turning and disappearing through the tendrils of darkness.

Dias hissed in pain as he was grabbed by the mane and forced to hear his words. All he could do was growl and glare at the Heartless before he cried out in pain as he was thrown through the air, sliding a good ten feet, half of which he had plunged into the shallow water of the Oasis.
As he got up moments later, fur dripping wet with cold water. Before he could react to the attack on him, Pride was gone again. "Damned coward. Running off like that." He whispered angerly, not caring if anyone heard him, he wasn't talking to them anyways.

Oasis, Pridelands
Sephiroth was, quite obviously, not paying attention. Infact, if everybody wanted to get themselves killed, that was quite alright with him. Actually, it was entertaining. Almost as entertaining as Cloud even attempting to threaten him.
"You cannot kill Mother, Cloud, and you know it. Are you lying to yourself too, hm? If you listen closely..." he said, voice lowering to a whisper. "...you can hear her speaking." the man turned lion finished, laughing under his breath. It was true, Mother had been speaking to him in seemingly sporadic moments, and he had informed her of all the lies the filth called humanity spouted from their twisted lips. Disgusting.
Sephiroth suddenly jerked, a certain familiar smell reaching his now very sensitive nose. A warped grin attached itself to his lips as he turned to see crimson liquid, as well as a shorter man disappearing into tendrils of darkness.
It seems the entertainment was not just physical in the scene before him either. The tension and confusion was so thick in the air, the mentally unstable male tingled with excitement of the mere possibilities of playing with their minds.
But of course, Cloud took the throne in that matter, didn't he?

Tifa started, alarmed as Pride picked SaixDias up easily and tossed him a good distance away. No matter what happened, that body was still Saix's!!
She didn't bother with watching Pride's departure - there were so much more important things to tend to.
"Saix!!" Tifa cried as she bounded over to her lover. She didn't care if it was Dias now and he would probably rip her apart in a second flat, but this was Saix's body!
Stopping just in front of him, regarding him worriedly to make sure that he wasn't severely hurt anywhere, Tifa simply shook her head. "Hey...are you all right?"
Let this be Saix, please let this be Saix....

"I'm fine," Dias growled, turning away from her and getting out of the cold water. "Better than what he'll be when I get through with him." Dias wasn't very happy being easily defeated in no time at all, and as a matter of fact, he was hurt. His pride was mostly, but there was scratches and minor brusing under the fur on the skin.
"Don't come help me thinking its your lover. You all disgust me!" He snapped suddenly at her. Red eyes glared angerly at Tifa, but under all the hatred that Tifa could see there was a small hint of pain towards the thought of being nothing compaired to the true owner of this body.
"Just stay the hell away from me." His voice was no longer scolding, just a weak attempt of throwing her off his back as he slowly made his way from the center of the Oasis. He wanted to lay down for a while, to let the pain slowly numb away in his arm from landing and sliding on it. You're lucky, Saix. He found himself telling his other. Saix seemed confused.
What? So now you're pitying me?!
Dias could feel Saix try to shake him from control, but Dias easily prevented it. Perhaps. How would you feel if you were in my place? If everyone told you to disappear? I had no choice with you. I was forced to merge myself with your body. You should be damned glad you became a Nobody at all because of me. Dias hissed angerly. He flopped down on the grass near the ledge, and sighed at the comfort of finally resting.
What does me becoming a Nobody have to do with you? Saix questioned curiously, from what Saix knew, becoming a Nobody took a person with a strong will to live after losing their heart to become a Nobody of his status. Simple, Saix. You wanted to die when you were killed, had I not been there, you would have never become a Nobody at all...just a lifeless shell left behind. Dias replied easily. Saix remained quiet for a long time. As Dias closed his eyes, he was about to fall asleep when Saix finally said something to him. Can I have my body? If it will keep your radical behavior in check then I will give you control here and there...but not constantly. Deal? Dias frowned. He didn't like this idea. If he gave him control Saix could easily run up to someone and ask for another seal on him...But then again, it was force or temporary freedom by free will of the host...
Very well... Dias sighed, and within moments, Saix felt himself able to move on his own again. Good. Now to keep his end of the bargan. ((Woot! Dias and Saix are finally being nice XD though still hating each other :3 man I feel weird talking to myself like this lol))

Holy s**t!!
The mere sight of Pride tossing the larger Saix around like a rag doll made the ex-knight stop in his tracks. His momentum caused him to slide along the Oasis ground a few feet, scraping up his legs, but in his shock he failed to notice. All that was running through his mind right now was the vision of the former Organization member being propelled forward by the Heartless, and then said Heartless leaving in a portal of darkness. Dammit, as soon as I figure out what's going on, one of these damn Heartless come and ******** everything up.
Now that the threat from the Heartless had diminished and Saix seemed to be coming back in control of his body, Seifer realized he had a choice to make: stay with the group or go to Balamb solo. His millitary training had taught him to never abandon his party when they were still alive; yet, he had promised Kairi he'd see her in Balamb. He had also promised to meet up with Leon somewhere, and more than likely the SeeD would be heading to Balamb as well. Looking over at Tifa trying to comfort Saix only strengthened his resolve. They need some time alone.....and I need to see Kairi. I hope they don't get mad.
Focusing his mind on the card he knew was near him, he whispered the destination he wanted to go and in a flash was gone.

Saix, now able to move at last, stood and looked towards the group, struggling to stay compeletely movable before sitting before them. "We should leave this place...There are no more heartless to fight here...Pride has fled." He glanced at the group, feeling somewhat bad for being such a berden on the group.
"If I can...I am going to the World That Never Was...I have unsettled business I need to finish there." Saix turned his gaze away, knowing Tifa would want to come, but at the world's condition from what he could remember, not many of them would last.
"Axel, I would suggest you come along as well....."

Pride Lands--Oasis
Axel watched, intent, as Pride picked up and left. Tifa was the first to see if Saix was still Dias, who he found out about over the web. Okay, then. Still Dias.
Oh--wait. Nah. That was Saix. Must have changed.
"If I can...I am going to the World That Never Was...I have unsettled business I need to finish there."
Bah. Not that place. Axel was in no real hurry to go back th--
"Axel, I would suggest you come along as well....."
...And of course. He doesn't want to go, and Saix says he should. Well...Just kind of saying no would work. But he really wasn't in the mood for that. A slight grogginess still hung over him as he nodded.
"Yeah, I guess."

Saix looked over at Tifa, worried of leaving her the way he was. Going over, he nuzzled her, carefully avoiding her wound Dias made, and licked the side of her neck as to give her a kiss. "I'll keep in touch with you, Tifa..." He whispered to her before he headed for the Gummi that sat in the Savanna so that the effects of the world was gone so that he could reach his card and go to the world.
I have a bad feeling about going to the world...With the Heartless trying to kill the Organization members, going there in a mass would probably attract them...But I need to...It's as if its calling to me. Saix thought with slight confusion. Ever since the word was let out of the world appearing, Saix could have sworn he felt some kind of tug on his body to go there...something deep within urging him to go there.
Once he was inside, he sighed as he was returned to his Human form. But the pain in his body intensified from the wounds, but ignored it. Reaching into his pant's pocket, he withdrew the card. Blank. Just like the card we got from Gluttony... He thought curiously, before he imagined the World That Never Was and was gone moments later.

Outside the Jungle
Damn their under-sized copter. It’s no wonder that Rufus wanted to go with Elena. That and Reno hated it when Tseng was right. There was only room for one other passenger. Sadly enough, that wouldn’t be Vincent. It seemed that Reno would have to make the best of his situation when cute little Marina arrived. It just seemed that the three of them would be arriving in Edge sooner than the others.
What a pain.
This trip was much quieter than their previous one. There were no arguments (or jokes on Reno and Rufus’ part). It seemed that Tseng sucked all the fun out of the atmosphere. The prospect of seeing what strange transformation their female Turk comrade had undergone helped Reno pull through his trip of misery and despair.
Soon enough, the copter landed in a sprawling desert adjacent to a large jungle. Unbuckling his seatbelt and standing, Reno opened the copter door. “Well, no use hanging around here, yo!”
It wasn’t until Reno had taken quiet a few steps out and away from the copter that he realized something just was not right. He was lower to the ground and… fuzzy?!
“What the HELL?!” the Turk shouted, examining every inch of his transformed body.
The thought that he may undergo the same transformation as Vincent and Marina never occurred to Reno. Instead of the lanky red-head in a messily arranged suit was a long, thin lion with pale fur and a thin, unruly mane of auburn. Atop his head, however, still remained his goggle-like goggles.
Falling to the ground in utter defeat, Reno whimpered, “Good god why me?”

Tseng, for one, was a heck of a lot smarter than Reno. He had watched silenty as Reno - in his typical exuberant fashion - bounded out of the copter and onto the ground--
--and became the most amusing lion he had ever seen in his entire life.
It was at that moment that Tseng wished that he had a camera, if only to provide him with a few rare moments of comic relief. And imagine the sheer number of ways Tseng could blackmail him.
However, Fate was not as kind as to gift him with said camera, and so he was stuck simply observing the changes that were wrought as soon as the redhead's feet touched the ground.
Leaning back in his seat instead of following Reno, the Turk Commander smirked slightly - being a lion was one of the last things on his list, right after the unpalatable the suggestion of being Heidegger's faithful lapdog.
At least he was dead now, the fat, bumbling b*****d, and saved Tseng the effort of killing him himself.
Watching Reno, most amused, he spoke evenly, making a show of crossing his legs and reaching for a newspaper - he hadn't gotten to read the latest news of Midgar, thanks to the little problem of emerging Heartless, and now was probably the best time to do it. "Search and retrieve, Reno. I'm sure Marina wouldn't be too hard to find."
