Not a book, but an author. Lurlene McDaniel. She writes about kids with terminal diseases, aka, my favorite topic ever.
Stop looking at me that way... gonk

Night Watch and Day Watch both from the same author is a Russian book so, aither you get the very rare translation or learn Russian. I actually recomand the second one sense learning is never a bad thing and mostly a non Anglo-Saxon lenguage as Russian

I haven't read anything new recently. I've been reading a few books I use to read during my 9th grade english class. I doubt anyone hasn't heard of her. Anne Rice. [I know...Typical huh?]
Besides Anne Rice's Interview with the vampire and Pandora. I've been reading a manga series called Tenjho Tenge. I'm still waiting for book 17 to come out, i'm really enjoying the story. [Even though it's slightly confusing and twisted.] ^^

Amelia Atwater-Rhodes is a really great writer and she started writing when she was 13. She has written books about vampires and vampire hunters and shapeshifters.

Shogun by James Clavell was a freaking fantastic book. Granted, it's around 1200 pages long but it was truly an epic. I recommend it.
