I'm in a tiny middle school band. There are 18, soon to be 17, of us. We don't even have trombones.

I miss my middle school band sad Alvarado Middle School, Union city ca
we had around to 300 band members together and separated in 3 band beginning concert and symphonic

im in 8th. we have like, the worst brass section ever!! our BD said that there was only one other band that was this "weak" ever in his teaching career. D: you should see how bad our brass is. they are totally weighing us down!! i kind of want them to quit because in my perspective they are just a detriment to the band [trumpets]. but... if they do quit, then the band will sound "naked" XD

Middle School band sucks....
I'm in 8th grade too and i'm in
M.S band
People hate it so much cause
the music is easy
like the low brass section,for
example a tuba plays like
for 10 measures and rests
for the entire song

ooh ooh ooh.. me me me!!!!!!!! pick me!!
i'm in 8th grade and am starting high school next fall, i'm gonna miss mr.mathews(my BD) though. but i can't wait for highschool! it's gonna be SO much fun!!!i love my band now too, i'm in advanced(woo top!!) but our tubas are perverts and f***ing annoying. but then again i don't like our lowbrass anyway(woodwind. sax) i hope i can teach band camp when i'm a freshman. my highschool band camp starts around may or late july or august.

Im in Jr. High, and I like it. Im in Grade 9 and its my last year in Jr.High.
Jr. High band is good, theres nothing wrong with it, just that our teacher talks non stop and never lets us play...
Oh well... I love my trumpet, but i have to give it up at the end of the year! crying

Hahaha, Middle School Band wasnt that bad. I liked it i guess, but High School is like 100000000000000000000000000 times better. It is so much more fun, and you get to meet so many more people, and the players are actually GOOD. (When i was in Middle School, everyone sucked except for me and like 8 other players. hahaha.)

My Bd Moved me up to Senior high band. That has like 10-12 graders (I'm only 13 xP) On bass clarinet. Yayy ;D
I still have Middle School Band on Bb Though.
