Jones, Diana Wynne- Dark Lord Of Derkholm ((fairywaif)) Funny, and a bit of a train wreck.
Asimov- Well, pretty much any thing by him, but I have say his short stories are amazing. Eternity's End is a pretty good one, as is the The Ugly Little Boy. Oh, I love all of them! heart

I don't know if anyone's put these, but I doubt it.
McCaffrey, Anne~Dragonriders of Pern (it's a series...a long one)
Johnson, Todd~Dragonsblood (He's Anne's son and is continuing her series.)
There are a lot of the Dragonriders of Pern, and I forgot all of the titles. It's sort of fantasy and sort of science fiction, depending on which book you read. But the series as a whole is science fiction.

Sergei Lukyanenko - Night Watch
It's a series of four books translated and brought over from Russia. There's a movie floating around somewhere as well. The following two books are translated and available at your local Borders or Barnes and Noble. Titles are Day Watch and Twilight Watch.
EDIT: The last book is tentatively titled Final Watch. Though Twilight Watch was originally Dusk Watch, we'll see what happens.

I've finished a lot of plays in my time, but none quite as dull yet amusing as No Exit by Sartre.
I also suggest anything written by Dostoyevsky. Especially The Idiot.
