Scribble smiled brightly as his young daughter bounded over to him, his tail feathers swishing slowly as he paused in his tracks. "Hey there tiger!" He grinned happily.

Jenny bounded under her father's legs and rubbed against his forearms, purring slightly, followed by a series of giggles as he addressed her. "Daddy! I'm a lion! Not a tiger!" She laughed and nuzzled him cutely.

"Hahaha! Silly me, I forgot" Scribble gave his little girl a wink and another smile before turning to Riku. He padded outside the den with him and sat down looking up to the beautiful new sky. "Well Riku, maybe a little hunting for you and I would do some good." He looked back to Shey with a soft smile across his muzzle, then back to the purple adult. "I'm sure giving the girls a break would be a nice change." He smiled and turned his head, waiting for his answer. "Looks like my son is getting a little hungry" Scribble gave a slight chuckle.

Riku smiled at his kind king "yes, that would be fun" he said before looking at all the cubs a kind of calming warmth crept over him and he wondered what it was. "having cubs is nice isn't it..?" he suddenly said "is being loved truely as great as it seems..?" Riku's ice blue eyes seemed to be lost in thought for a moment. he shook his head suddenly "oh! i-i'm sorry...that was rude of me.." he said quickly getting up and turning hesitantly away from his king "i'm sorry.." ashamed at his sudden outburst.

Scribble chuckled and gave Riku and warming smile. "No need to applogise! It wasn't rude. That is something I don't mind answering." He grinned and looked back to his beautiful mate and children, then again to Riku. "I wouldn't be me without them, they complete me. And Shey...oh god what a woman. Yes, love is as good as it seems..." The teal King paused for a moment "As long as you find the right one. And you'll know when that is. You'll get butterflies in your stomach with every word that comes from her muzzle, or even just her presence. She will steal your heart before you even have the chance to give it to her. Its love alright." Memories raced through Scribble's mind, he has been together with Shey for quite some time now, and he couldn't have asked for more. He thought for a moment before another smile appeared across his muzzle. "Why? Someone your after?" His eyebrow raised.

Shey chuckled. "Well if you really do want to hunt..." She made her way over to Jenny and nuzzled the cub's head. Jenny looked so much like Scribble that it was hardly surprising she seemed to prefer being a little lion than a lioness. Quite unlike Koekje, who, for all his bulk, did not seem to ever care what happened except that he did not run out of food. The lioness often found herself wondering how those wings of his had grown, and how they would ever come to any use for the chubby lion.

"Oh, lion talk," She raised an eyebrow with a smile. "Then I just might go sit outside," She added. As made her way toward the mouth of the den, and as she did, she suddenly felt the world spin around her for a second. She stopped and shook her head. "Whoa..."

The little tomboy nuzzled her mother back with affection and purred sweetly. She may have acted all rough and tough at times, but the cute personality shone at times. Jenny giggled and jumped on her brother, who was still, or course, laying down and whining for food. "Come oooon Koekjeee! How come you never play? Is food the only thing you can ever think about?" She stuck out her lip and raised an eyebrow with a curious look.

Scribble grinned as his mate moseyed on by, noting the male to male talk. He snorted and turned back to Riku, but was soon distracted again by Shey's voice. "Shey? Everything okay?" A look of worry washed over his face for a second, it wasn't like her. He nodded an apology to Riku and got up, padding to her and scanning his lands, hoping it was just something she might have saw.

The chubby cub squealed in protest as his sister pounced on him. "Well, is playing all you ever think about?" He retorted, sticking out his tongue. "Food is more important. You could live without play but you can't live without eating!" He pouted comically at his teal blue sister.

The lioness nodded as Scribble's familiar face appeared. "Um, yea... I think. I just got a little dizzy all of a sudden. It should... be... no...thing..." Her voice trailed off, even as she spoke, and all of a sudden, she realized why she was dizzy. And feeling a little as if she would throw up if she ate anything. Her gaze was joyful with realization as she turned to Scribble.

"Scribble," She felt so joyful her heart could have burst right there and then. "Oh, Scribble, it's happening again!" She chanced a quick peek over her mate's shoulder, to ensure that Jenny and Koekje were still busily pouncing each other. "I'm pregnant." She announced. "We're going to have more cubs!"

Jenny stuck out her tongue, her childish antics getting to her and her will to never back down coming into place. "Well, if all you ever do is eat, and never play, your going to be fat!" She jumped up on to a stone above her brother and looked down at him playfully.

The teal King and first time father was about to make one into two. He blinked a few times as the words slowly sunk into his head, and flicked the switch. He was just about to scream for joy when he noticed Shey looking towards his first babies, taking into consideration that she might not want them to know just yet. With that, he moved closer to her and rested his chin on the top of her head, purring with affection.

Riku's face grew warm at the kings inquiry about him interested in anyone "erm...well..i.." he shuffeld uncomfortably for a moment before seeing scribble walk steadily to his mate. He let out a small sigh of relief, he was not good when talking about things such as females..though he was interested in one.. He padded curiously over too Scribble and shey and asked quietly "not to interrupt but by the looks of you two lovebirds something wonderful mustive happend" he said chuckling lightly glad to be talking about something else.

"Well, if you only play and never eat, you'll get so skinny all your bones is gonna stick out and you gonna look ug-ly." He said defiantly, unwilling to back down.

Shey closed her eyes in bliss. She heard Riku padding up, and opened her eyes once more, smiling. "It looks as if the pride might have a few more members before long," She admitted.

"But I DO eat! All the time! And I will be learning how to hunt my own food, I'm a lioness." She said proudly, closing her eyes and puffing out her chest. Her tail feathers swished back and forth behind her, her flakes twitching; they were the only things that resembled her mother, everything else was all Scribble. It wasn't before long until the little spitfire noticed her parents and Riku having a conversation, a happy one at that. Curiosity came over her stubborn personality and she looked back to her brother before bounding off towards the group, wondering if he would follow.

"This is so wonderful...I-I don't know what to say." Scribble was grinning ear to ear, it was plainly obvious, he loved cubs. He looked to Riku with a proud parent/king expression, trying to hold back the bubbling emotions growing inside of him. "Riku, this is one of those highlights of love." He remembered the look on the soft purple lion's face before the news was revealed and didn't want him to be uncomfortable, so simply stated. "Just make sure she steals your heart...forever." He looked back to Shey and nuzzled her affectionately, the butterflies he was talking about swarming his heart.

Koekje stuck out his tongue again. "Yea well..." He paused. Crap, he'd run out of things to say! He scowled and tottered to his paws, spreading his teal wings instinctively to steady his pudgy little body. "I'm not talking to you, Jenny!" He whined. He made as if to pad over to the back of the den and stay there, but his sister suddenly pounced away, and he couldn't help but to follow, flapping his wings as he tottered along after his speedy sister.

Shey grinned. "This, and smooth-talking lions, he means," She said with a laugh. "Ope. Looks like we have company," She added as she saw the familiar forms of Jenny sprinting toward them and Koekje lagging behind as always.

((D'aww! -wishes her boyfriend was more like Scribble- xDD))

Jenny was too occupied to listen to her brother's remarks; she didn't even realize she had won their little squabble, good thing for Koekje. She slowed down to a light pad and stood between her mother and father looking up at them curiously. "What's going on?" She said happily, looking to both her parents quizzically.

Scribbled chucked and shook his head with a grin, his tail feather's swishing happily. He heard Shey and looked down at his bouncing daughter, always full of energy and his son wobbling slowly behind her. God, she was him all over, it made him smile. He quickly came back to Earth, however, from the sound of Jenny's voice, then looked to Shey, wondering if they should tell their children.

"Well," Shey began with a glance at Scribble. "Since you and your brother are so big now... Well, you two are going to have baby siblings, basically." She said with a smile, hoping Jenny wouldn't take it too hard. It was always hard to explain to the cubs that there would have to be younger siblings, but there would always be time for them if they really needed it.

Koekje padded up. "Say what?" He asked promptly, having missed the entire announcement. He toddled forward so that he had effectly squeezed himself in next to his teal sister, and turned his baby eyes up at his parents with a small smile.

Jenny looked to her mother as she explained the situation. New siblings, for her to help take care of, and play with, and..oooh ho exciting!! A big grin stretched across her muzzle as she thought about having little brothers and being the only girl in the family aside from her mother. However, the smile slowly faded as she realized that babies don't always come out brothers, and the possibility of having sisters was there. "Mommy, do you know if they are going to be boys? I hope I don't have any sisters. Is there a way to make the babies boys?" She understood birth, but not to an extent and looked up to her parents quizzically as her brother finally came beside her.

Scribble looked to his son and repeated Shey's words, "Your going to be a big brother Koekje. You and Jenny are going to have more siblings." He said proudly, nuzzling Shey lightly before turning back to his cubs. He couldn't help but chuckle at his daughter's question, ignorance was bliss.

"Well, no..." Shey began with a chuckle. "But here's what we can do, we can all hope you get brothers." She often marveled at just how tomboyish Jenny was. She took after her father so much that even their personalities were similar. Quite unlike Koekje. He was more or less the odd one out in their small, but slowly growing family. Where he had inherited his wings, or his enormous appetite, one could only guess.

"Oh," The chubby cub shrugged, clearly unimpressed by the news. "It's not like I can eat them." He shot Jenny a look, as if accusing her of making him moving for a cause other than food. Then he snorted at his sister's question. "Why don't you want sisters? You're so much like a boy that if you wore a mane, nobody would be able to tell the difference."
