The trail left behind headed off in the direction of the Endless Seas, the wind doing little to mar the trail as enouh remained in the air to keep a worthwhile trail of where he had been. The leaves around Kalie rustled slightly as their charred forms fell to pieces and dispersed upon the light breeze, a small form shaking itself slightly as it tried to pull itself to it's feet. The creature seemed to be little more than an amorphous blob of green and white flesh with small circles lining its back that seemed to open and close ever so slightly like small mouths. It appeared to be a mutant of some sort...leftover pieces of animals...recycled. It looked to Kalie and it's eyes narrowed. Familiar eyes...pained and tormented beyond any hope of relief, but carrying the noble spark of intelligence, even when it could only make squealing noises of pain as a single clawed hand tried to reach towards her.

As the fallen creature's claw inched towards her, Kalie shivered her eyes narrowing in contemplation, a look of sadness and pity for what was lost betrayed in her eyes. Shaking her head slightly she continued after the trail still heavy in the air. The sound of crunching underbrush and torn vines announcing her deeper discovery into the gradually thinning forest as it blended into the endless sea.
