Khane waiter for her response, looking around... Crap. He saw sirens in the distance and knew that he wouldn't be able to make it with both of them. He lifted Vanessa off the bike and put her in the cafe, huddling her up in the corner and smearing some blood on her.



Khane burst back out of the cafe and jumped on his bike, squealing down the highway, back towards the school... he needed Able to do some talking for him and now.

Cathal wandered into the cafe, looking around, he said, "Well this place looks like a fairly fine establishment"

He spotted a table fairly close to the entrance, he figured he would sit there, so when the other two came in, they could find him easily.

a short while later, a waitress approached the table, and asked him what he would like.

"Um, whats yer selection of beers and ales like?" he asked her. She then brought him a small menu book containing all the available drinks.

"Thank ye very much lass, Il let you know when I decide."

Lexy nodded and smiled at Abel, "Okay!" When the waitress came around again, sha handed Lexy a menu and asked if she wanted anything to drink. "Just a glass of Lemonade for now," she said. The waitress turned to Abel and asked if he wanted anything. Lexy paged through the menu seeing what they had. Her mouth dropped at some of the stuff they were selling here. "Wow! This place has a lot of food!!" As she was reading some of the menu titles off, her stomach was grumbling more and more. Lexy laughed, "Looks like I really am hungry."

Cathal browsed through the drink menu. They had ALOT of drinks, the menu was about the size of a bible. He decided to ask, it seemed like it would save time.

"Uh you wouldn't happen to carry Tennent's Lager by any chance now would you?" When the waitress answered yes, his eyes lit up.

"Wow, yer the first place that ive found that does in fact carry that particular brew! I havent had a good Tennent's Lager since I was back in Scotland. Il have a nice pint of that then, thank you lass."

Cathal was a little taken off guard by Lexy's question. At first he didn't know how to respond.

"Well, to tell you the truth lassy, I'm not quite sure why I came to this school. I wasn't kicked out of my home, in fact I left of my own accord. I guess that I came here because it is a school that seems to accept people who are...different...and I find that fact rather comforting."

Abel listened intently as Cathal explained his reason for coming. It seemed like a good reason. Normal enough for the time being of course. He was going to say something but he instead listened to what Lexy was saying. It seemed like she had problems of her own.

"Well that sure does not sound too good. Well think of it this way here you are safe from most things, and you even got yourself attached to some people that can handle any kind of situation so you are perfectly safe."

Abel said this with a genuine smile on his face, which was rare to see on him. He had grown attached to the small girl, but of course it was probably something to do with the fact that she was the first person to actually talk to him directly since his arrival in the place.

The waitress places the hamburger and fries on the table in front of Lexy, "I know," she smiled. "I'm just glad I found some friends. It's hard for me to. I always got scared and bad things would happen to people." She stuffed large bite of hamburger in her mouth, "Bu it ohay 'ow." she chewed then swallowed the bite. "And don't worry too much about my home life. I think my mom was just trying to keep me some my dad. I over heard her say some bad things about him. I don't know much about it, but I'm assuming that he's the one where I got my," she paused at the word, "'demon' half from. The only thing I know about him is that his name is Sammael. I heard my mom speak it a lot in her sleep." She shoved 5 fries in her mouth.

Lexy laughed, "That is pretty funny. Maybe if you headed online using wireless via a hot stop, you'll find it." She giggled, thinking she was pretty funny, even though she prolly sounded pretty stupid. "But yeah, Sammael. My mom would always be saying something like 'No, keep away!' and 'I don't want you near me anymore' and 'It was a mistake to let you into my life'...." Lexy paused. "She's also said a few more things about me and him...About how every time she looks at me, she sees him." She stared at her food, then quickly took some fries and ate them. She smiled, a fry sticking out of her mouth.
