*The ASDF base was now completely deserted from any moving person or robot, up above the large ship glowed an assorment of deep red's and oranges as it broke through the atmosphere. Having taken damage from the counter attack from the ASDF arsenal, the hull integrity began to dissipate as chunks from the ship began to tear away and fall down onto the earth like asteroids sent into diffrent directions. Now the fleeing ASDF staff and pilots had to worry about free falling debri, countless pieces fell left and right impacting the ground and throwing up dust into the air.*
In the surrounding air space away from the ASDF-
*Since radar works with detecting heat signatures (I think sweatdrop ), the screens would soon be flooded with biping dots on the monitors. The VW's radar picks up the incoming fireballs and Lindy's eyes widen with surprise, she then proceeds to call out to everyone which by now must know of the approaching objects*
<<"Heads up everyone, we got incoming fireballs heading straight down on us, cant tell their course...the screen is full of them...take evasive maneuvers! Ground Units, seek shelter inside caverns or what ever you can find to give shelter!">>
*Lindy jerked the flight stick hard left as a fireball zoomed past the VW's left wing and smashed into the ground below. While flying around like a maniac in the safest way possible she managed to find Griffin's mark on the radar and headed in her direction*
*The large vessel, with one last explosion in the engines, it slammed into the military base like a harpoon into a whale. At the moment of the impact, a large half sphere erupted from ground zero and swept everything in sight, turning it into ash, or at least what wasnt designed to sustain such heat, the runways were peeled away like tape from a box. Whatever mecha's were left out from their protective hangars were destroyed. As for the underground refugee buildings, they were spared as the blast left about half a mile of dirt between them, the only damage it sustained was flickering lights and broken water pipes, course that meant the place would soon fill with water if the main valve wasnt closed. By now the places already had about 3 feet of water in them. In one of those affected areas was the Underground Lab where Iris and now holding onto another scared female officer as the water was slowly rising.*
"We have to leave this place or we will drown, but how to know if its safe to go out?"
Female Officer: "We'll just have to wait for an announcement from Commander Tanasha, she'll let us know at the first sign of safety...for now we'll have to stay in a high place or we could get sick."
*With that said everyone started climbing on tables, desks and crates to stay dry*

OOC: Ah, nuclear ordinance. Lovely. sweatdrop
OOC: Well, the weaponry on top of the base will need to be replaced, and the top three floors or so are mostly in pretty bad shape. Beyond that everything should be pretty much ok, despite having to be carefully inspected for stress fractures and the top 5 floors or so being rebuilt. The wall-mounted weapons were outside the LOS, and the bulk of the blast missed them, so replacing the protective covers should be enough there. The EM field is disabled, and most of the sensors are offline or destroyed - not that we're blind, since we have the satelites, or defenseless since we have a small army of mechs and AS fighters we can put on rotating shifts while repairs are underway.
OOC: Thankfully, the upper and outer parts of the base are considered fairly expendable anyway. Nothing vital goes there since it's the most likely to be compromised in the event of an attack.
OOC: Remember, the ASDF is designed to withstand lasers that are capable of melting cities. It's a heavily-armored capital ship built into the ground.
*Tanasha, having been deep enough in the base that the only dangers she faced were a pounding headache and short-term hearing/balance loss, drags herself over to the radio to take care of the basics. She uses short statements so any interferance from radiation will be less likely to render it unintelligible*
Tanasha: Hazmat. Outside. Now. ... Medics. Treat wounded. Now. ... Medics. Casualty report. Later. ... Brass. Immediate Risk Assessment. Now. ... Repeat ... Hazmat. Outside. Now. ... Medics. Treat wounded. Now. ... Medics. Casualty report. Later. ... Brass. Immediate Risk Assessment. Now.
*She then proceded to go about the room, doing a quick check for severe injuries.*
OOC: RADAR does not see heat, it emits a pulse and looks for a reflection, like sonar only faster. We do have IR and vislight sensors. The ASDF base wasn't empty, just the top few floors. Mechs do a decent job of stopping residual radiation, so they can carry people out of the area in shielded boxes if need be.
OOC: Now, I wonder what kind of material that ship was made out of... xd

Thrie thought he was blinded for a moment. After he regain vision, he looks up at the sky instinctively and found fireballs raining from the sky.
"Oh smothers..." he mumbles. He picked out a spot under the storm of fireball that only contained the smallest flaming debris. He lands and activated his Mecha's shoulder. He directed all energy toward the top of his mech.
The first debris smacks into the shield and scatters into burning ashed. Then he cuts off the shield and took off again, looking for the next patch of safe spot under the storm of fireballs.
Thrie mutters into the radio after catching a bit of Tanasha's transmission "Er... made out some of that transmission, did anyone catch the entire thing?"
His hub displays flashes red for a moment after another flaming debris slammed into his mecha's shield. Then he listens to the roar of his boosters as he set off again. He was trying to be as gentle as possible with the bus he was carrying. He couldnt do anything about the roughness of his manuevers. All he could tell them was "Hang on tight..."
Meanwhile, above the atmosphere, a blurry object could be seen. It de-cloacks and reveals to be the black Gaia Gear.
The pilot of the black Gaia Gear observed the wonderful light show that just popped up on the ASDF base.
"Wow, that was pretty" He talked to himself. "I wonder if anyone survived that? Heh. I can check later."
He then looks toward space "i wonder who sent that thing spawling into the base?" He shrugs and cloaks his mecha once more. "Beats me, but time to go fishing again... thats getting addictive."

*Griffin notices Lindy aproach and the flaimng debris falling on base, she turns to Batleloid and using the head lasers she vaporizesd incoming debris, she also cleans the air around Lindy ship with the precision of a laser surgery, vaporizing also incoming debris, of course she made some doges to avoid the debris not destroyed by the lasers, but she quickly pass misile control to Goddess, snetient core calculates and fire missiles to destor or change the course of the debris toa void any unwated casualties*
<>
*Griffin continues to cover Lindy until she reach safety, or when the debris stop falling whatever comes first, she tries to reach the ccomand center by radio*

OOC: "In case of" doesn't mean "Because" 3nodding
*The base, having better equipment, hears Griffin clearly. In response, one of the Anti-Personelle machine guns starts tapping shots against the cockpit of her mech - one bullet for dit, three for da. It's the same message that was broadcast before.*

OOC:Sorry for the inactive-ness. Kohki's been off studying Anime-style Martial Arts, when she wasn't gonig on patrols in her PHawk in Aero-space flight mode.
*Kohki, seeing the big bright desrtuctive force erupt at the ASDF base, continues to dodge between falling debris, while also trying to correct for the problem with her fauly gyro* Kohki[singing]:FLY me to the mooon, let me gaaze, among the stars... let me see what spring is like on, a-Jupiter an-* the faulty gyro causes her 'mech to suddenly jolt violently, causing er to hit a small piece of debri, which scratches up the paint on her right wing* Damnit! Okay, I thought that gyro problem was fixed. I'm gonna have to bring it to the techies again. Third time this month, too. <>

*Lindy yawned some as she nodded to Griffin's comment then thought for a minute and replied back*
<<"Umm where exactly are we supposed to take the wounded to...I dont remember being told of any nearby facility that would be of use in case of such an emergency such as this...I think I'll just land close but not too close to the base and treat the wounded the best I can and wait for any med teams to be sent out to our locations.">>
*With that said she banked softly and returned to base, by this time the debri had stopped raining down, was too small to cause damage or was coming down too slow. She first gave a quick fly by over the base then prepared to land as she lowered the speed and cut off the main engines and used the thrusters to decend down to the dusty ground, about 30 miles away from ground zero.
Over in the underground med labs, one of the doctors got ahold of a radio and tried to make contact with the commander or whoever was recieving the message.*
Doctor: <<"Hello? Hello!? Can anyone hear this...what happened here? Who ever is recieving this, we need some help...the shutters to the surface appear to be blocked off by debri, we cant get out...">>
Male Nurse: "Im sure they are aware of our situation and are already digging their way to come help us, there is no need for alarm."
*An argument ensued as the doctor was getting anxious to get out, fearing he would die underground. Around the base, large chunks of the ship scattered about, only half the ship had survived the crash to actually impale itself into the ground, fires were still burning as were some small explosions inside the ship. The pod which had ejected before the vessel entered the atmosphere was nowhere to be seen in the air, in reality it had already landed far away from the ASDF in the mountains.
The VW had landed safely and Lindy along with some of the officers who knew some first aid, were tending to the wounded.*

*In response to Lindy's remark, the com techs paint the nearest hospitols on her HUD in the form of waypoints, from closest to furthest, and non-combat mission objective markers for known casualties. The changes are replicated to the rest of the able ground-capable forces as well. This is excluding specialists with higher priority missions - such as the EOD units who were instead sent to check-out the larger pieces of debris.
OOC: Kohki, that means you.

After noticing the shower of flaming debris had stopped or becomes a low threat, he turns his mecha around and looks over the damages that had been done. He also check the damage that had been inflicted against his mecha. Only a couple of scortched marks it seems, nothing deep.
Getting the feeling that things was clear, he sets the booster on high to carry his mecha and the bus toward the hospital nearest to his location. He lands with a soft thud and puts the bus down steadily onto the ground.
Before the medical crew came out to unload the wounded out of the bus, Thrie's Gaia Gear vents out the excessive steam pressure from the gyro system. After the venting out the excessive amount and the vents closes, the bux opens up and the unloading process goes underway.
He runs his mecha around and walks away from the bus. After reaching safe distance, he hits the boosters and becomes airbone.
He looks over at an aerospace fighter and targets it. HIs data screen shows the fighter as "PHawk" and the pilot as "Sergeant Kohki". Thrie blinks and made a comment to himself "Well if it isnt Kohki! she's back...".
He flew his mecha to the locations that were known to have casualties.
