Beware the Jabberwock I.Am Honestly, a relationship is about trust. To me, in the end, it shouldn't matter if your partner is Pro-Life or Pro-Choice, as long as they've told you they won't get an abortion and you trust them. Because if you can't trust them in something like that, how are you going to get the whole thing to work out? Now, if they got an abortion, then I'd be outta there. I'd drop that one right there. stare

I.Am This has bothered me for a while. If you had been dating someone for a while, and found out they were Pro-Choice, would that be immediate grounds for dismissal? Are there only certain circumstances in which you would stay with them? Or is it completely irrelevant to you? Furthermore, if your girlfriend/wife got an abortion, what would you do? I mean, the obvious answer would seem to be dump her/divorce her, but then again, maybe you believe in forgiveness? Or she immediately regrets it and changes her ways? And I know it's a slightly different situation with women, since a Pro-Choice male wouldn't be making the "choice" to get an abortion. For me, in most cases, it would quickly end, if not right then and there. I'm sorry, I'm tolerant of the Pro-Choice side, and I can be friends easily with a Pro-Choicer, but a girlfriend? I mean, what if something happened and she got pregnant? I'm sorry, but I can't take the risk that my girlfriend would decide to get an abortion. On the other hand, if it was someone I'd known for a while and/or I really liked, and she convinced me that she was "Pro-Life personal, Pro-Choice political," then maybe. But I would have to be absolutely certain that she wouldn't get an abortion. And if she did... I don't know. That's so mindblowingly disturbing a thought that I just don't know. I like to think that I believe in forgiveness, and I'd forgive her if she seemed sorry, but on the other hand... Also, slightly unrelated, but it annoys me how Pro-Choicers don't really have to worry about this. I mean, real Pro-Choicers who support the woman's choice; If their girlfriend turns out to be Pro-Life, okay, that's a choice. If their girlfriend's Pro-Choice and has an abortion, okay, that's a choice too. If they're women and they find out their boyfriend's Pro-Life, it's still not going to affect whether she can get an abortion or not, even if it would add guilt and the complication of a likely breakup to the getting of an abortion. Discuss! If I weren't engaged, and were still dating, I wouldn't date a Pro-Life male (though I might date a Pro-Life female). Not being Pro-Life, I have no idea who I'd date if I were, so I'm switching the sides. I would break up with my fiance if he suddenly became Pro-Life, even though I desperately love him. I would break up with any male I was dating who told me he was Pro-Life. It does suck that the only people who really, really have to worry about this are Pro-Life males.

Not saying you are, but the fact is, people are only pro-life or pro-choice when they are in America, and the issue only spans to what... half the population. A lot of women who consider themselves "pro-choice" wouldn't get one themselves, and just because I'm pro-life doesn't mean I'm going to be all... OMG you're not pro-choice OMG... How can a side of a stick be short or long? Wishbones, I could understand, but sticks?), because, percentage-wise, younger women (Thinking college aged) are more likely to be liberal minded and Pro-Choice, just like younger men are. This is disregarding physical beauty, which, how the heck are you going to measure that? Are you going to send out surveys that say, "Are you Pro-Life or Pro-Choice? Are you female? If yes, are you beautiful?" xd Anyways, I'm babbling. Bleh. Dude... older women are not hotter... theyr'e just more mature... but of the younger women... seriously think about it. Who's hot in america anyway? At least I know that most of the people who spend such a long time tapering away on the ED are not hot... they have no lives besides their posts.. I'm going to do some cardio for a few minutes.

Ha... I get all my excercise (I'm not sure I even spelled it right) walking to and from classes right now. I don't really have much time to excercise, though, because I've got 19 hours of school right now, and I need a job too.
But I walk back and forth about two or three times a day, because I come back to the dorm if there's a significant amount of time between classes, so it's not too bad I guess.

I am still allowed to choose who I date, aren't I?
