Goodwin stared out the window nearly the entire night. He had had a very long day. His entire world had been turned upside down. His master slayn by the traitor who murdered his king... and now it was his job to protect the princess from the same fate... and not to mention his strong feeling toward Arabelle. He sighed and smiled as he turned and gazed at the lovely being. It's all worth it if I can help her, though." he said quietly.

After a long while, Arabella started to toss and turn. She was having nightmare's of death and other horrible things.

Goodwin watched as Arabelle tossed and turned. Should I wake her? he thought for a moment. He then decided to let her rest unless things got worse.

Arabelle started to cry out in her sleep, she was having nightmares of everyone she knew dying one by one. She was breathing quite heavily.

Goodwin jumped over Arabelle and began shaking her gently by the sholders. "Arabelle, wake up!" he repeated as well as, "It's just a dream!"

Arabelle screamed and woke up, she saw Goodwin standing over her and grabbed him around his waist, hugging him tightly. "Don't die! I don't want you to die!"

Goodwin hugged Arabella closely, trying to comfort her. "I won't die... it's all okay... I won't die." he repeated gently, over and pver again.

She tried to smile at him, but found that she could not...It had all been so real. She wiped her tears from her eyes and got up off the bed. "Are you hungry, do you want some breakfast?" She asked as if nothing had happened.

Goodwin walked after her and grabbed her amr gently. He then pulled her back to the bed and sat down next to her. He put his arm around her. "Arabelle... problems don't just simply go away... you have to confront them." he advised in a concerned tone.

"It was only a dream Goodwin." She said almost flatly. She really did not want to talk about it.

Goodwin sighed. "Dreams can be important... if fear overwhealms you, then I may not be able to save you." he continued. Goodwin then tried to stare into Arabelle's eyes, wondering if she would try to avoid his gaze.

She did not look at him. She did not want to get attached to him incase he died just like her father had. But it was probably too late to not get attached, because she already was.

Goodwin sighed as she avoided the gaze. He placed his free hand on hers. "If you do ever want to confront your dreams... I'll be right there to help." he reasured her. He then looked out the window. It was still dark.
