Mayu nodded in reply, pursing her lips in uncertain thought as she looked over her part of the painting. She didn't want to wash it off at all! Or at least, not until a good amount of people had seen their finished masterpiece!

"Well, let's finish this picture first, and decide what to do about it after," she said, with a small smile. After all of the trouble she had gone to sneak in paint, she wasn't about to let it dry out without doing anything with it first!

"It's nothing," Verde replied, shaking her head. She stood up, looking over to Yeine.

"You want to get cleaned up?" she asked, though she knew that they were already clean enough. "We'll be able to talk more freely if we're out of earshot from those two, and we might be able to work out a plan to fix this whole thing," she added, in a whisper.

Now this was a girl after her own heart. "I think you've got the right idea," Ying said cheerily. "After all, it's not really a painting until it's done!" With little more thought than that, Ying took the sponge that Mayu had given her, and neatly tore it in half. It wasn't all that hard, considering the quality and age of the sponge, and after giving half back to Mayu, she turned back to the painting. "Now, what would go best here?"

While the mention of water wasn't all that pleasing, and Yeine wrinkled her nose at the thought of a shower, a quick clean up would be a good idea. Not to mention the privacy that would be included with it. Nodding, Yeine stood as well, and started walking towards the back of the room. There were showers there, presumably for the swim team, and rows of lockers. What there did not appear to be were sinks.

"Hmm," Yeine murmured, looking around. Now what?

"Some butterflies, I think," Mayu replied, after scrutinizing the painting for a few seconds. She got to work on her tree, scribbling in the rest of the leaves on her tree. It looked messy, but it was better than it being incomplete.

"What else should I draw?" she asked, looking to Ying. The Legend looked back to the blank spot for a moment before crying out in revelation. She drew in four silouettes underneath the tree, one for each member of their group.

Verde frowned at the lack of sinks, wanting to wash off some of the splashes of paint she had gotten on her arms from holding up the canvases to protect herself.

"Maybe there's a bathroom in here," she suggested, crossing her arms. Where there were bathrooms, there were sinks.

"Oh, perfect!" Ying exclaimed, starting to daub more paint on the wall without delay. A sky scene wasn't complete without butterflies. A few of them came out lopsided, but the Jumi didn't matter, and continued painting more, until the sky was full of them. As an afterthought, she added a pair of birds, flying somwhere between Mayu's tree and her sky.

It was then that she noticed Mayu's addition, and giggled. "You're good at this, Mayu-chan. How come you were in that stuffy class with so much talent?"

Of course to Ying, anyone who could do something better than her had talent. But she was staring at the wall, impressed in earnest.

"Maybe," Yeine said uncertainly. The paint that had gotten on her arms was dry, and starting to itch. It would be a pain to get out of her fur, but there was really no way around it.

Before she could look, however, a noise made her turn to face the door. Somebody was outside, and ready to come in.

Mayu clapped, marveling over the wonderful creatures that Ying had added to the mural. She glanced over the painting once more, wondering what else could be added.

She looked over to Ying, blushing at the compliment. "It's really not that good," she replied, scratching her cheek with one hand. The figures were a little more than stick figures, with hair and clothes scribbled in messily to suggest the appearance of the group. The child couldn't really find what it was in her doodle that impressed Ying so much, though she was scrutinizing over the piece with a bit of a serious look on her face.

"You know, I think we're done," Mayu nodded, clapping her hands. There really was not anything else she could think of to add without cluttering the piece up.

Verde shrugged, truly uncertain herself. If they were truly desperate for a washing, then they could use the showers which were in the locker room. However, she wasn't about to give it up --- she didn't want to have to take a full shower just for a few splatters of dried paint on her skin.

The Jumi whipped around to look at the door, wondering who it was that was trying to come in. Could it be the teacher? She bit her lip, a frown starting to form on her face. That would be bad...

"I think you're right," Ying agreed. The wall space was getting rather tight, and besides, they were almost out of paint again. And there wasn't much that Ying could think of adding even if she wanted to. The thought of overcrowding never occurred to her, she just felt it was done.

Rubbing her sticky hands together, Ying nodded. "Good work, Mayu-chan! Now what?" Then she looked around, as if just noticing something. "Where did Yeinie and Verde-chan go?"

Yeine also froze at the noise, her eyes darting to the door. "Should we hide?" she whispered, starting to panic. They were all going to be in so much trouble!"

"Wash our hands?" Mayu suggested, wiggling her paint-covered appendages. That had been fun, but now the paint was starting to itch at her skin, and her clothes and hair had already become quite stiff from what had already been splattered on her.

At Ying's question, the Legend looked up, also noticing the disappearance of her sister and new friend.

"I have no idea. They were just here a minute ago, weren't they?"

"We'd get in more trouble if we hid and she found us," Verde replied, the worried tone now evident in her voice. What could they do? They definately couldn't just stand there and do nothing, though!

"I thought so," Ying agreed, though she was frowning. Yeinie told her not to run off so many times, and now she was missing herself! Sometimes she didn't understand the Cathar, even though they lived in the same house and spent almost all of their time together. It was as if she was alien- which she was- but sometimes Yeine felt further away than the stars.

That wasn't important. "We should look for them," Ying suggested. "We don't want them to get lost."

"I guess-" Yeine had barely spoken when the door opened, and the teacher walked in.

She took in the two students- still splattered with paint, but not the worst of the worst- and frowned. "You haven't cleaned up yet? Are there others who haven't started? The swimming team will be here in a few minutes."
