"Hey wait, you're going in the wrong direction!" Burger called to her, following quickly behind her. "Follow me. I have a few hours to kill anyway." he said

"Fine. Take me there." She turned and ran down the hall in the opposite direction, too fast for him to catch her. Now would be the time to try to escape! She knew she could do it.

Burger tried to run after her, yelling into his walkie talkie "secure all the exits, our guest is trying to escape!" He starts to slow down to catch her breath as Blossom turns the corner. He pressed the emergency siren, alerting all his henchpeople. He found two bogus borg running up behind him. "STOP HER!" he yelled to them, pointing down the hall at the corner Blossom had just turned.

Blossom laughed, as she knew that Burger himself could not catch her. She also laughed because she knew she would be caught. Perhaps running was not the best idea just now. She really had no idea where she was going. Luckily, as she ran down yet another hallway, she saw the room with the books from the night before and dove in there, since that's where she said she was going. Maybe now, if they did catch her, Burger couldn't be too hard on her because she didn't lie in what she told him - she had just taken a different route to get there.

Panting as he ran around the corner, Burger noticed the two borg he had sent after Blossom standing outside the door to the small dining room. "What are you two just standing there for?" he asked furiously. "Boss, she went in here. We don't have clearance to access this room, remember?" One of the borg replied. "Oh never mind," Burger said, pushing the borg out of the way and catching his breath. Pastries were a bad choice for breakfast he thought to himself, opening the door and shutting it quickly behind him.

Blossom glanced up from her book, "Took you long enough to get here. Guess I'm just too fast for you." She laughed a little to herself. This is a good book, you should read it sometime.

"I should read a lot of books sometime." Burger said, a little irritated. "This isn't the library anyway. These are just a few of my books that didn't fit in the library." He walked over to the bookshelf and picked out another book. Showing it to Blossom he said, "now this is a good book you should read sometime. Anyway, this room isnt' too comfortable for reading. There's a lounge upstairs you could use. You might find that room more suitable."

"Fine, I'll go there. Show me the way." She grabbed a few more books off the shelf and carried them with her as she followed him down the hall.

"Ok, but no more funny stuff." He said and lead her upstairs to the lounge, a well lit circular room lined completely with a large comfy couch covered with cushouns. There was a coffee table with coasters in the center of the room and speakers and a radio near the door. "here we are. I think I'll read for a while too. I have nothing better to do until these guys get here." Burger said, helping himself to a place on the couch and pulling a book out from under a cushion.

Blossom laid on the couch with the book Burger had recommended, but the couch was so comfortable and she had such an awful sleep the night before that she had only read 5 pages when she fell asleep. The book fell to the floor with a gentle thud.

Burger noticed Blossom falling asleep and kept reading his book. It was getting pretty interesting. Keeping an eye on his watch, he waited until 10 min before his meeting before closing and locking the door to the lounge. He'd let Blossom sleep until his meeting was over. He envied her. He wished he could sleep through this meeting.
After seeing the steel people to their helicopter, Burger returned to the lounge to check on Blossom.

She woke up drowsily when she heard a door opening. She must've been in a pretty deep sleep. "Huh? What're you doing here? Don't you have a meeting or something?"

"The meeting's over. You've been sleeping for hours." If you'd prefer, you could stay here tonight. Anyway, if you can tell me where you live, I can get you something to change into." Burger said, still skeptical about Blossom's having no home.
