●●●---- Hah! My parents are really supportive if a get a "really bad mark" (i.e. in the 70's/B+). "Well you know, Phys. Ed. doesn't matter, anyway, so it's okay that you got one there." Since I've never gotten worse than that, I don't know how they'd react. A's are considered as, "Aww. Tsk, why'd you get an 87/A there?" And they'd make me feel kinda bad. But if I get in the 90's and above, I get, "Great!" And that'd be it. They worry more about my average, and are fine as long as it's 90+.
On tests and assignments, if it's not perfect (i.e. 100%+ (bonus questions) or 4+ (A+ and better), it's not good. But that's okay, since I can manage getting 100%+,4+'s and 4++'s.
So no, my parents don't want straight A's. They want straight A+'s.
That way I can become a "doctor/orthodontist/super huge money-making job" or receive "full scholarships to anywhere I want" like they did. Even though full scholarships are practically impossible (ie. 99% average, 1000 extra-curriculars, 1000 volunteer hours, a job...) ----●●●

Parents? They expect me to, hell yeah. So far I'm doing good. Getting As and high Bs. When I get a B, they stare me down and sometimes hit me.. Failing? They try to get me out of the house for the weekend.

My parents want me to get As and Bs... But one B- and they start yelling at me to do better. o.o If I ever get an F, I'll probably get kicked out of the house. D: And they don't kid around when they say that.

Yes, they do. But it's only because they expect me to get As all the time anyways. So, every time I get like a B, they're all like, " Why did you get a B? We know you can do better than that." But the thing is, I don't get under A minuses anyways.
