I have been playing for 2 years. Went to competitions for it. Though I never won. I just like to go to competitions to see how I fair against other people and to see what I need to improve on. I play Heavy, though on some songs I still have to go on standard for. I haven't played DDR in a while since I am in college, trying not to fail. (GAH! domokun ) So, yeah...... sweatdrop

16 months, but I didn't really start playing until about 8 months ago.

After that, I stopped playing frequently for a while, then started up again around mid-January.

I've been playing on Heavy for about a month now. If I ever want to impress people though, I usually play Standard unless I know the version well, because I can only A or B most songs on Heavy, while I can AAA, AA, or A all but a few songs on Standard.

Edit: all but Max Unlimited and Max 300 between the two versions I own (I can only C Max Unlimited gonk I feel like such a loser).

Hum... about 2 years and I;m on heavy mode now. Now, I'm trying to play the double and the hand+feet mode.

Thats pretty good...So you mustve been into it since it first came out.

I've been playing for almost 3 years. I', on heavy, but I dont like to do killer songs like Max 300 or Paranoia Survivor Masx. I'll just still to my 8 or 9 feet songs

That's right where I am too, except that I plan to have Max 300 and Max Unlimited to where I can A them on Heavy within two weeks....it's going to be a hell of a time getting there, but when I do get there, I'll be inarguably the best in town.

Unfortunately, my legs get sore quickly a lot of days, and I'll often not get in my full 2-5 hours a day, so I don't make as much progess as I'd like to. -It's kind of annoying, because my legs will hurt like hell, but I'll be breathing completely normal and my heart rate will hardly go up at all. -Part of it is the fact that my body is more used to running, not tap dancing, so I can get of the pad after an insanely hard song and I can run like hell, because my breathing and heart are usually ready as ever, and my legs will feel like they just had a brutal yet highly energising warm-up.

My recent toughies have been Orion.78 (HVY) and Healing Vision ~Angelic Mix~ (HVY), a high D and a high C, respectively.

Anyway, that's my babble of the day.

8 or 9 feet songs? that's amazing! I'm not that good! cry

I first played on December 25th, 05. So basically about a year and five months. Anymore though anything in DDR is rlyrly easy, so Ive moved mostly to ITG. The only time I really go back is to either make an edit for a song or just to see how well I do on all the songs.
I think Im behind for how long Ive been playing. I personally think that by now I should be at least starring twelves in ITG and AAA'ing tens in DDR.
I dont have anything on my friend Kai though. Claim it to be bull if you wish(admittedly, it is extraordinary), but he passed his first ten(A real ten, mind you, such as one of the maxes.) after only having played for a month. A shame he cant play anymore. He'd probably be like pickles on steroids.
