^appreciates me for doing something for the kids. Apparently doesn't know that I'd do anything for anyone whether I know them personally, well, or not. I'm THAT submissively willing to please. A tear in an eye will get me to do almost anything.

(I was at a parade today and a person was handing out bumper stickers with the American flag in the background and the text "In God We Trust... Not Ourselves", and it really scared me. These people can't even trust themselves, but they trust God? God, who they don't even have proof exists? God, who, if they're right, created people like us just so that we could burn in hell?)
