Sora blinked at Larxene's comment and let out a sigh of joy. She had figured out something to talk about. This was good. Sora couldn't think of anything, he was still a bit jittery.

"Oh them? They had to go back to their world. They lived somewhere else, not on my world. Not even close I don't think." Sora remembered all the people he met. He wondered where they all were now. "They left. Then...I don't know. And now I'm here. There are only two people who lived in my world. But I doubt they'd like to see me. And if they are here, I doubt they remember me. Seems like everyone who came here has forgotten something." Images of a castle flashed in Sora's mind...one he didn't remember. "I could swear I was in a place that did that before. But I guess it doesn't matter. Live for the now! Remember?"

User Image"A place where everyone's forgotten something?" Larxene mused, looking thoughtful again. "A place where everyone's forgotten something... hmm." There was that funny tingle of memory again. It was a bit stronger this time; that was awfully familiar. "I think ... I think I might have been somewhere like that, once. Or maybe I just heard about it? I dunno." The girl frowned. "It sounds so familiar but the harder I try to remember, the more I seem to forget."

This seemed to upset the girl, but only for a moment. "Well, as you say, live for the now," she said after a moment, nodding. "If it was really important, I'd remember it anyway, right?"

"Yup! And if you don't remember it now, you'll remember when it's important to. But that wont change anything really. We'll be friends and we'll have all sorts of fun!"

Sora smiled his bright smile and ran ahead of Larxene making it to the end of the hall first. "We're heeeeere!" Looking around Sora didn't see much of anything that looked like it might hold a map. "Larxene we should look for a big book. If there is a map to this place, it would be in a big, -big- book!"

User ImageLarxene chuckled at Sora's enthusiasm, distracted from her thoughts again as she hurried to catch up with him. "Hmm. A big book, huh? That sounds about right." She squinted around at the shadowy aisle. "See anything that looks like a big book?" she asked, bending down to peer at some of the shelves.

Sora's eyes scanned over the shelfs as he muttered 'big book, big book' over and over trying to keep his mind focused. But something was bugging him. Something he just had to ask. But he didn't know if he should.

I shouldn't say anything else. It will just make things awkward. But if I don't...things may get awkward anyways. Sora sighed. There was no escaping this question no matter who he would end up asking. It was probably best it was Larxene. "Hey...Larxene. Can I ask you a serious question?"

User ImageDistracted a bit by her search for a book that fit the bill, Larxene nodded absently. "Sure. Ask away!"

Sora stopped searching and looked down at the crouching Larxene. "Have you ever been in love?" The words slipped out easily enough, but Sora then realized the gravity of what he had just asked and tried to add to it. "I-I mean as in...have you felt what it's like? Is there something to describe it?" He wasn't doing a very good job.

User ImageLarxene tilted her head a little, looking surprised. That obviously wasn't the kind of question she wsa expecting. "I .. um ... well, I'm not sure. I mean, no, I am sure. I just ..." She paused a moment to keep herself from getting flustered. "I thought I was, once. I was wrong though."

The girl paused again, frowning a bit. "It's funny, I remember the feeling, and that it happened, but when I try to remember his face ... it's just blank. There's nothing." Larxene smiled sadly, then shook her head. "I remember the feeling though. It's like ... like how the lightning crackles," she said, holding up her fingers again and letting the electricity spark between them. "Only in your stomach, whenever you think of the person, or see them." She looked at Sora curiously. "How come?

Sora kept his eyes on Larxene as she spoke. "Oh, I was just wondering...because I thought that I might be in love with someone. Though I really don't know what that's like. I've had a lot of friends, but no one that close, not even my best friends. And I really care for my best friends. But I never felt what love was like so I guess...I wouldn't really know. That's why I asked." Sora paused, he frowned. "I'll go search for the book over there." He pointed a little ways away from where they were. "If you need me just call for me, okay Larxene?" Sora turned and walked a good 20 feet from Larxene and finally let out a sigh. What did I just ask... was all that was running through Sora's mind now.

User ImageLarxene frowned as Sora walked off, feeling a pang of sympathy. Whoever the person was who he was referring to, it seemed like he missed them a lot. She looked back at the boks in front of her, tapping the spines gently. True, she didn't know him that well yet. But he seemed really nice, and she was happy for the company. Seeing him upset was ... upsetting.

She glanced down the aisle after him for a moment, then got to her feet again and padded down toward him. The girl rested a hand on his shoulder. "You miss someone, huh? Maybe I could help find them?"

Sora flinched slightly when Larxene came and put her hand on his shoulder. He hung his head and continued to frown. He muttered under his breath, "They arn't gone. They just showed up." He didn't expect or really want Larxene to hear it. Cause he didn't understand it himself, and if he didn't, how could she? Why would she want to? He sighed. "Maybe I should go..."

User ImageLarxene quirked her head to one side again, looking confused. "They ... huh? Wait, don't go anywhere." She tightened her hold on his shoulder a little to try to keep him from going anyway. "Sora, what do you mean? What's going on?"

Sora turned his head to look at Larxene. "I don't know, that's why I asked you before, and even after you answered I still don't know."

User Image"I ... I'm not sure I understand." Larxene looked confused, though she left her paw on his shoulder. "Can you explain what's going on? Maybe I can help you figure it out."

Sighing, Sora tried to explain himself. "I asked if you had ever been in love, and what it felt like, because I've never felt that. So I asked just to see if what I was feeling was love or just something else. But I still don't know."
