nemesiss Frozen Ray Lord Thatlatu of the Tofu Challenge for freestylers: Put together a decent freestyle routine for Chaos [expert] and show it to us! I would try if someone unlocked it at the arcade. It doesn't have to be Doubles, right? That would be insane. yes, they do. ALL official DDR songs HAVE DOUBLE!! im so glad konami learned how to make double more flowable. one the old songs, you had to jump for live to get arrows. noawdays, they are more streamedline but you still have to run alot. CHaos on expert, freestyle? that very tricky, since its mostly running for live. and how did you want it displayed, they freestyled version? me and my friends aint got a camera to tape it. Actually, I think 3 songs on DDRMAX CS do not have doubles charts. Why do I know this? Because the first time I tried doubles, I remember being really pissed that 3 of my favourite songs weren't on the list. But then again, that might have just been me being a n00b137 in february. FRAY: no, it doesn't have to be doubles. (although it would probably be amazing on doubles) I'm going to try it myself after I get more used to the song.

Max CS wasn't missing any double charts. >_>
For the record, Chaos isn't a very freestyleable song, on any of it's charts. Any freestyle spawned from it would look utterly ridiculous.

Because nobody looks at stickies.
I pretty much deem this thread as okay to necro anyway.

1un4r Because nobody looks at stickies. I pretty much deem this thread as okay to necro anyway. Oh, yeah, now I remember. I can't think of good challenges for anyone because. . . All: Everybody's sick of playing 50bpm challenges and 700bpm challenges, but those seem to be the only way to make a challenge to the general public. 1un4r: I don't know any way to stretch your skills to their limits on DDR and I don't know what sort of songs would be good for a challenge for you on BeatMania. FRay: I don't want to give you some challenge that'll be too hard on your lungs and kill you, but I know you're good enough to do hard s**t, I just don't know where the line is. I have no idea where you are on BeatMania and what songs you have access to. XIII: I have no idea how good you are at all really, but I might have one for you. Do you think you can get an A on Sana Morette Ne Ente x1.5 Flat? Rice: All I know is that you're a bit better than me at BeatMania; clear Outer Limits [h] or something. ;P I don't know how you are at DDR at all. I don't know about anyone else here really at all. I mean, there's lots of names here which I'll recognise, but I don't connect them with a skill level.

the best challenge for player who constantly play 9 or higher rated songs, is to AAA 6 rated songs.. WITHOUT BAR or any other cheats.
a friend of mine says: "If you can clear 10,11 foots and get A or AA scores on them, but you cant get a high AA or AAA on something simple like a 7, you cant call yourself a great player."

Is he AAing 10's and above himself? It doesn't sound like it, since he doesn't seem to understand just how much skill it takes to pull that kind of score off. I see and agree with the point he's getting at and all (high 10 foot scores alone =/= skill), but the statement itself is quite an exaggeration. I can say from personal experience that it's pretty much impossible to be able to AA a 10 foot unless you're capable of doing the same or better on easier songs. When I try to improve my scores on 10's, I whore the living s**t out of them. Sometimes they're the only songs I'll play in a session. Does that mean I'm incapable of AAing and AAAing easier songs? Not at all, considering I've AAAed the vast majority of Supernova's songlist. Those easier songs are essential to getting good scores on harder songs. You can't do well on the latter without being able to do well on the former. If you can find someone who can claim to defy that, I'd love to meet them and call them a gigantic liar. pirate

ON EASY MODE. xD But seriously, if you can A 10's, you can AAA 8's. Take it from a guy who has terrible PA and relatively high endurance.

1un4r, pass Pandy with the timing set to "Justice" on the pad.
Normal people may attempt (and fail) on Keyboard.
