Well I never asked for any, period, so it doesn't matter.

Here goes - I'm bad at using spoon-fed intros so I'll just toss out random facts that come to mind about myself. smile

I'm Arbel Nox. You can ponder on what my real name is - it starts with an "E." In real life, I'm 15 and live in Houston, Texas. I was born in Japan, lived in Mexico, Puerto Rico, Michigan, Kansas, Houston, New Orleans, then back to Houston because of Katrina. So I've had a bit of a hectic life.

I'm a writer - I'd say author but I'm not published - and I mostly do fanfiction (if you want to read what little I've published, my Fanfiction.net account is SparkyNova. I will warn you, though; I haven't posted anything but revisions for quite some time, and everything but one chapter of one story is rather dated and not very good). I've done one or two origional fiction stories. Most of my work will never be seen by anyone but myself; I honestly don't think it's up to par with what most authors publish. I've been an RPer for 5-6 years. On my old computer, I have over 200 pages of RPs saved that I've taken place in; most of these were through chat on AOL or AIM rather than on Gaia. I've been a Gaian since last year (2004) and this is my second account. My first one is Sakuma Ryuichi-kun.

I take martial arts and fence. I've been doing martial arts for a year and fencing for five. I'm a fairly good fencer, though my martial arts leaves something to be desired.

When I grow up (that sounds rather cliche) I want to be an archeologist, psychologist, or an author. I dunno - maybe I'll be all three. I can double major in history with an archeological emphasis and psychology, then publish fiction independatly. I'll write historically accurate stories about insane people.

As for other interests, I've been in Boy Scouts/Cub Scouts since age 9, have been doing mock trial for 2 years, and have been playing the drums for 5 years. I want to learn to play the guitar. For the past two summers, I've worked at a Boy Scout camp in New Mexico (sadly, not Philmont).

And I suppose that's about it; glad to be here! The guild looks wonderful and all the people seem friendly, so I think this'll be quite a bit of fun. I'm looking forward to RPing with you guys. 3nodding

I know how you feel; I had so much trouble after learning the stuff. I mean, it's just a bit intimidating to see a sword rushing at your face. smile

Stick with epee though - it's better than foil (that might just be the epee/foil rivalry that our school has speaking).
