Lynn looked over at Batrias. "Who are you...? Waaaaaaitaminute!!! Asking a sleeping person a question is utterly pointless... Gah!" Feeling a bit scatterbrained, Lynn decided to keep her mouth shut.

Shoni hold her sword tight, "I would if I knew what magic brought you here. There are only two who carry that blood-line with that power, the children of the Hyroshas. I am one, Wildfire holds the other."
Every muscle in her body is ready to spring, "I will not leave."

Talpa's voice booms out, "Then you shall see how much power I have!"
He swings his large sword, and a wave of energy follows, attacking the person who dares to impede his progress.

"Eep!" yelped Lynn. She pushed Chamoka and Kenketsu or whatever his name was into an abandoned outhouse. "Gah! Why do I always pick the weird hiding places...!?" she fumed.

Shoni springs like a cat, twisting in the air with her sword in one hand. She calls her armor as she lands and when her feet touch the ground, she has the Halo armor around her.
"You were defeated once," she says.

"I recognize the power you call upon," Talpa declares, "It is a part of me. And you are a fool if you hold that I have ever fallen in battle! No one has ever defeated Talpa, Lord of the Wolfriders!"

Shoni smirks, "Oh but they have. This is the future, where you life is spent and the armors you claim are a part of you were destoryed, to make way for another set. No, the Wildcats, the Ronins, even you own Warlords will turn against you.....unless I defeat you here."
She holds her sword above her head, calling lightning from the sky.
"Rai Ko Zan!!!"

"Rubbish," shouted Lynn from under the crack in the outhouse's door. "Kaosu defeated you way back when, you oversized tin can!" She blinked. "Wha...? How did I know that? Waaaaaitaminute! Those weren't MY thoughts..."

Talpa knows the attack his enemy performs. It is one he was thinking of using, but she beat him to it. As the lightning streaks towards him, Talpa raises his sword and blocks the attack. He staggers under the weight of the energy- surely one part of him cannot be this strong? And yet, the woman seems to have mastered something Talpa had only guessed at before.
"I see," Talpa says, his sword smoking from the attack, "You are more powerful than I imagined. But it will not avail you in the least. As for that MONK!" Talpa says to the person who said he'd been defeated by the Ancient, "He and I have never met."

She launches two sure-kills, one after the other, with cat-like speed.

"Feh! Then how do you know he is a monk?" sneered Lynn. "Why is my mouth moving by itself? Oh, crap! I must be possessed or something!!!" Lynn started to fret.

Talpa fell to one knee after the combined weight of the attacks hit him. They were unleashed with such power, such speed. Talpa suddenly realized what he had to do. He crooked his fingers in front of him, a swirl of energy flowed from his enemy to his hand.
"Come to me, armor, and join with your true master..."

For a moment, Shoni felt her armor call to this evil, but the hatred set in it when it was remade took hold for a second, just long enough from Shoni to break it's hold.
"This armor is not purely from your own," she says.

Talpa stands before the woman, resolute. He does not know why he is in something his enemy calls "the future" but he knows that if he cannot figure out something, he might very well be destroyed. Then, the solution comes to him. "You cannot destroy me here, if I am to be defeated by that MONK. If this has already occured, you will change much of history by defeating me here."
Another thought occurs to Talpa: I can leave my body and travel as a spirit. I will retain much power that way...
