Sairin blinked as he listened to the teacher. She was different from his other teachers, she was in fact the opposite of the cruel and strict teachers he had faced before.

Ignoring some quick stares from his classmates, he took a seat nearby the door. He turned his head slightly to see smiles, nervous looks and several glares aimed towards him and he turned his gaze to his teacher.

Leaning down on his hair, his feet now crossed, he kept quiet and started to listen like a obedient student.

Yukina smiled at Yuki's suggestion. "My own little brother! We could have such fn together planning all the class events!"

Ki frowned and sighed. Why was the world determined to embarass him?

The teacher looked once more to the back of the class as she heard a small snoring sounds and identified a small puddle forming around Baka's desk...

"What is that I hear? The sound of someone nominating *themselves?" She picked up two erasers from the blackboard, creeped up to Baka's desk, and crashed them like cymbols right next to his ear.

Yukina smiled. "Oh no problem. You've just become class representive." Her grin went up a watt. "Please do your best."

"Oi." Ki spoke up, glaring at his sister. "Isn't it suppose to be an elected position?"

"Of course! And you were nominated to weren't you?" Yukina pretend to think that over.

"Nevermind." Ki setteled back down in his desk. He felt sorry for the other kid, because the class rep had to spend more time than anyone with the teacher - planning festivals and such.

"Good. Everyone okay with that?"

*nose twitches and eyes roll backward*

Cl -Cl -Class Rep? Me? *he squeaked and sat down rather hard, staring straight ahead and not noticing anything else going on around him* Me?

*baka buried his head under his arms on top his desk*

Yuki was really interested in the new student in the class, so he walked over and tried to see what Sairin was writing.

Sairin stopped scribbling when he saw shadows covering his light. Turning his head slowly, he gaped when he saw a white catboy and his teacher observing his notebook and the messy scribblings. He backed away slightly before he realized that he was now in contact with the floor, a slight pain on his elbow and hips as he stood up with a twitch. Quickly, he grabbed his notebook and hid it in his bag, murmuring a quick apology to his classmate and teacher with a small blush of embarassment on his face.

Great, so much for a good impression, Sairin though with sarcasm before he gave a nervous smile.

Baka continually bonked his head against the desk. Why does this always happen to me? Why oh why? Class Rep? That takes... Responsibility!

When the commotion began, Baka looked up in time to see the one boy stuff his notebook into his bag. The bag was close to him and he could see the edge of the notebook poking out.


But all temptation was lost when the new person entered the room. Baka perked up a little. There was someone here later than he was! Maybe he would like to be class rep!

Yukina wondered for a second if she should be upset with students scribbling their private notes and others leaving their assigned sits. She shrugged and decided to let it go for now, which was a good decision since a new student suddenly demanded her attention.

She took his note, smiling as usual. "Well, seems everyone's just running late today."

There was a slight scoff from the back of the room. "I just knew this class would be hectic if you're the teacher."

Pretending to be wounded, Yukina pouted. "As if I have in any say in when these kids show up." She grinned again. "Just for that, you get to show the new boy around."

Ki frowned and looked at Baka. "Isn't that suppose to be one of the class rep's job?"

"Oh, well, Baka already has a new student to take care of." She pointed to Sairin. "It's like a buddy system. Now you get the new kid."

Still looking for a way out of the job, Ki noticed something else. "What about Yuki? Give him the 'buddy'."

Yukina shrugged. "Yuki can help Baka show Sairin already. He seems interested enough in Mr. Mysterious. Take your new assignment with enthusiasum Ki. Alright..." She looked at the note real quick. "Owen, is it? Owen, take a sit near Ki. Feel free to annoy him constantly with any questions you may have."
