Hearing the cute purr, Shouko noticed his ears for the first time. This was too good to be true, ears and a tail?! Tentavely she reached for ears, wanting to rub them, but afraid he wouldn't like her then.
"They're soul mates. I'm sure." Kat nodded decidedly, even if they weren't, she'd make sure they became. The cuteness was too much to resist..

He blinked, trying to figure out what she was reaching for. "Fur?" he asked, leaning his head down so they would be easier to reach. "Pretty flowers" he continued, smiling as he twitched his ears.
Ul smiled, "From the energy he showed me this morning, I think you might be right."

"Fur." Shouko repeated, not knowing that was the correct name for them. Feeling the fur on top of them, she was awed. Tracing her hands lightly over the tips, giggling.

He flicked them against her hands, happy to have found something that amused her, "Furry ears" he said again, wrapping his tail around her wrist.

"Furry.. ears?" Shouko furrowed her brow, thoroughly confused by now. Stopping her petting for a moment to frown.

Teagan paused for a moment, trying to figure out how to explain what he meant. He pointed to his ears with a pudgy finger, "Furry ears" he stated, grabbing hold of one of them. Then he moved onto his tail, releasing her wrist and wrapping it around his own hand, "Furry tail!"

Eyes alight with understanding, Shouko nodded. Poking his tail a few times, she decided to tell him about some of the things on her as well. Taking his hand she put it in her pink hair, solemn repeating the word "Hair", before moving on to her eyes, the nose and lastly the lips. Then she put her attention back on the adorable ears..

He was still for a moment, then his free hand shot up and he touched a finger to her nose, "Nosie!" he giggled, his tail now laid over his shoulder like the end of a scarf.

Blinking wildly, Shouko attempted to focus both her eyes on the offending finger, though she quickly gave up. Throwing out her own hand as well, curling it in his tail, happily saying "Tail!" in a sing-song kind of voice.

He thought for a moment about what would happen if she yanked on his tail. His gaze locked on the door to the gardens, he liked it out there, it was pretty, and the fishies in the pond were cute. "Race?" he asked, turning to face the door.

He took off after her, seeming more to be leaping a few feet at a time than running.

Still possessing the chubbyness of a toddler, Shouko was slowing. Running had never been her thing.

Teagan hopped past her, his arms spread out at his side, the powerful muscles in his legs finally getting some use.
