The anime is good for the fights (the Japanese one of course. The US dubbed sucks). The manag is better at conveying the story and the characters however.

Thats true. I have a feeling that they are going to do an OK job on his voice. Not the greatest but decent (like Naruto or Sasuke). They screwed up Ikari's voice in my opinion.
