Jen sighed. "Someone's desperate for information." She said, finally. "Mike's death was-" She stopped realizing what he just said. "I'm sorry, you let me go? As if I couldn't of gone with out your permission?" She asked, being somewhat of a rebel.

"Mike's death was my fault." She said, hesitantly. "Ok, the forbidden relationship you allowed was Mike's and mine." She said, not really wanting to reveal more, but knowing Blake would probably want to know more.

"Not really, we dated for about a year before the elders found out and forced him to have another charge, and if he could manage everything and still have a relationship with me, we could date. For about 3 months, around the time you didn't know he was your whitelighter, he guided you without letting you know he was there. Our relationship was still strong, until I went up against an unbeatable demon, we argued about it. I told him whatever he did not to come. He came anyway, because that demon was working with a darklighter, to go after him. He was killed because I was blinded by the fact that a darklighter was working with that demon. I was about 16, so about a year ago." She explained.

Matt cut in, "Thats pretty sad, and I hate to rudely cut in, but we need to catch this demon."
Matt felt bad that he just interupted like that, but he felt that if they didnt do something quick, more witches could die.
"I found out something at the alley. The building next to it was where a coven of witches evidentaly met. I could tell that the battle started in there and I guess when they ran out the back the demon...or ghost killed them then. I couldnt find anything to scry with, but if it was a ghost then there wouldnt be anything anyways."

Jen looked at Blake, and then to Matt, she made a mental note to thank him later. "If it's a ghost, there's not much we can do, unless we can find it's bones and pour acid over it's remains, or kill it's object of obsession, which isn't one in particular, this would kill however many witches." Jen pointed out.

"The elders made him take on another charge, to see if he could manage a relationship with me and more charges. If he couldn't handle it, we'd have to end our relationship and I'd be assigned a new whitelighter. It was a test, he needed a new charge and you needed a whitelighter, so the elders assigned you as his charge." She said, not moving from her seat.

Matt was now becoming tiresome of the drama between Jen and Blake. He truly felt sorry for them, but years of fighting off demons had hardened his heart. He simply walked over to his book of shadows and began flipping through the pages. Maby I can find a summoning spell for ghosts or something, he thought. I wonder if they're effected by telekinisis...or if they can be blown up for that matter.
