Whisperer~Nightshade This question has always lingered in my mind, and I just want to hear some of your opinions on this topic. Goths can go to church it is really up to them if they believe in there being a god, and all of that......

It depends on your own personal beliefs. Sure, I'm a christian, but I don't go to Church all the time. Hell, I haven't been to church in a few years. Dx Bad christian, huh? I've thought about converting to Wiccan, since I heard about it once before, but have never had the chance to experience it before.
So, go if you wish.

I believe that goth is about discovering what feels right for you and accepting what doesn't. You can be anything you want as long as it doesn't hurt anyone.

alessia the dreamer but once i wore an ironmaiden hoodie and a slipknot shirt under it. I don't see how that's exactly a problem. Neither of them are anti-Christian groups.

to each his own.
it's not like you'll get struck by lightning at the church door or anything.

I am a christian and a goth, and proud to tell anyone that. I live in Ireland which has its old ways of family's goin to church every Sunday and my family is pretty much like that. I am one of a few teenagers that goes to church anymore and I always only ever wear black, with a sword pendant around my neck lol. But what really annoys me is when you get weird looks IN the church! Its like all the time I see little kids staring at me and often old women. But I just smile cuz at the end of the day I am a good person and if they are blinded by petty prejudices then it is their own fault! I cant change how anyone feels about the way I dress, or the things I do, but I can sure as hell be who I want to be, and be happy about it. I thank those of you who had the courtesy to read an abnorammly long post from me lol ^^

absolutely. you don't have to be atheist or anything to be a goth. in fact most goths are religious.
