I have a house in every city but my main one is definatly Frostcrag Spire. I have a Storm Atronach out front and all of my stuff is there because you can use the portals to go to each city.

My first home is Benirus Manor in Anvil. It's one hell of a sweet bargain. 5,000 gold for a large house with a very cool basement. The mission that comes with it is fun and quick to get through.
I later transfered all my possessions to Rosethorn Hall in Skingrad, because I wanted a home that was a little more centralized. The display cases are a nice feature and I also like the fact that you can have all the pie and ale you want from the house keeper whose services you can purchase from Colovian Traders.

Chedinhal furnished cumpletly and decorated it myself with weapons on all the shevles, corners, and on tob of dressers and cabnits

I have a question about the Chorrol house, is it possible to find an actual servant for those servants quarters? Or is that just ancillary? I'd do anything short of the CS to get it, because i would have NO clue what I was doing if it came to that sweatdrop

I got a totally pimped out house in Skingrad and I got the shack in Imperial City. I even got the treasure and the servent in Skingrad.
I got all the Renown from becoming Grand Champion, easy.

On my Nord:
I have Blackthorn Castle, or whatever it's called, by Chorrol. biggrin It's rad, but sort of takes a lot of money. And I have Frostcrag Spire.
On my Dunmer:
I have a shack in the Imperial City and a house in Bravil. I use the Bravil house more, I don't know why though.
On my Bosmer:
None! Hesa hobo biggrin

On my main file (dunmer that leads all the guilds/Grand Champion and I earned all the achievements for), I live in New Sheoth. All my unique items such as the Book of the Undead, Umaril's Sword, Sheogorath's robe/staff, and the Deadric Prince items are kept in Rosethorn Hall as my own personal bank. Then all of my odds and ends that I collect in my exploring are kept in my Bravil.
I also have a theif/assassin argonian that lives in Hackdirt. He leads the Thieves Guild and the Dark Brotherhood so all I do is visit the Night mother once a week and rob anyone and everone that I come across...even guards. He has a 200k+ bounty.

Bruma, Skingrad, the Thieves Guild Guildmaster's Room (With all the thieves guild trophies, I might add blaugh ), and Cheydinhall. One of my houses actually has a maid, I think.

I woulda put all the silverware in a pile in the center.
That's what I do on my Dunmer file.
I go into the houses of Bravil and steal ONLY the silverware +cups and stuff, and then I pile it in the closet in my Bravil house.
