Death twitched under Kiyette's attack. He tried to get back to his feet, but all his energy was spent. Death was exhausted and no matter how many times he told his muscles to work, his body just would not comply.
He grinned up at Kiyette. He directed his words to the other Dream, but since he could not hear him, he asked for Duke to come over and translate.
The ghost came over. He was laughing, but managed to get the words out for Kiyette to hear. "He says that it was a fair fight, and there is no reason for you to be sorry. He congratulates you on the win, and says it was a good battle."
With that said, Death got to his feet, bowed to the winner, and left the arena to go nurse himself back to health. Maybe one of the other Dreams would help...

Kiyette smiled at Death as he left the arena. That was a fun fight. Now she wanted to fight some Nightmares! "Bye bye!" She shouted as his shadow disappeared through the arena entrance on the other side. She jumped in tha air. She had won! "Wohoo!" Kiyette trotted back through the entrance on her side of the arena. She hoped she hadn't hurt Death too badly.

Speaking of Konrad... Karalen won't be here until next Thursday or Friday. I guess we can wait anyway, since there's no one on the waiting list, but if people sign on long before Thursday, I think it'd be better to let them go first.

As the order of the fighters rang out over the ring, Konrad closed his eyes, allowing his polite smile to become a small one. "I see, so I'm first..." He muttered to himself, letting a hand rest on the hilt of his sword. Once he was sure that his mind, body and spirit were ready, the Deejarne snapped his eyes open and dashed forward, pulling the sword from the scabbard and readying it to attack, the smile gone from his face. If there was one thing that Konrad learned was that every fight must be taken seriously, even if it were a fight simply for training.
Once he was close enough, he swung his sword towards the Earth Deejarne, making sure that his body flowed with it. It was obvious that Konrad was an excellent swordsman just by his posture alone, but by attacking... It almost looked as if he were dancing.

Konrad uses a normal attack.
Attack (10) + 1d6 (5) = 15
15>14
15-14 = 1
18 - 1 = 17
Ed has 17 health left. It is now Ed's turn

(OOC - Just a note, Ed has a Nightmare Scarf. ^^;
From the compendium: "This item grants a + 8 to Defense, a +4 to Luck, and has a +10 Health Regen every round.")
Ed flinched a touch from the attack, but it did not deter him. Clapping his hands together, he grinned. "Heh heh, time to take a leaf from the idiot Colonel's book... I cast Flame Bullet!"
(OOC - Flame Bullet is ability #4 from the Mala Beads.)

((Sorry, I missed the defense. The health regan will be added when it's his turn, so this round, and my last post was updated. ^_^ ))
Ed uses Flame Bullet. He is also healed by his Nightmare scarf. Ed now has 27 health.
Ed's attack (12) + Flame Bullet 2d6 (7) = 19
19 > 8
19-8 = 11
12- 11 = 1
Konrad has 1 health left. It is now Konrads turn.
