Yes actually I'm Lutheran but I'm Bi. I think its stupid that the church thinks being gay is wrong.....I mean honestly they teach love your neighbor as yourself but then they disown gay people? so what is the rule now 'love your neighbor as yourself but only if their straight' i mean its just ridiculous.

KaitlynintheGoal I havent posted in this guild in a while, but I thought I would make my voice heard once again. I started reading through and saw several places saying that the goverment is run by the christian church, however I think that there is some gross grouping going on here. Making the assumption that every christain, every christain congregation and every christian denomination is the same, and blaming the whole for the current condition, is sorta like saying, all black people steal, or all asains are super smart. Basically you are taking something that is true on a small level (maybe) and making it apply to everyone, sterotyping, its a b***h. But past that, yes, the seperation of church and state has become a little fuzzy, but you cant just look at christainainty as a whole that way, its just certain sects. Basically, think and look at the situation before you start talking. my goshh, you write wayy frickkin' much. no offense. sweatdrop

wow... i cant believe this is still going it seems like forever ago i started it. did i really put an option of "burn the christians?" thats horrible... hmmm i think i've thought about this a lot more since i posted it. most christians are good people. trying to make a difference. some of them think i'll burn in hell because im love with a girl. some of them dont. thats their opinion. i dont agree with it and i think the a lot of the chistian churchs have very old fashioned views that need to be remedied but they have a right to their faith. everybody needs something to believe in. its what makes us human.

Well I am a christian but im not a hardcore one, I try to go to church every sunday if I can. My church isn't very old fashioned and im pritty sure they accept gay people. I know a few hardcore christians at my school. They are actually pritty kool, although they are overly nice, and are never really seen angry.

Lelola I find myself a little satanic to be honest. God said something about all the plants of the earth (e.g eating them, using them to create stuff) So why is it illegal to smoke weed. God gifted us with it but he's always contrradicting himself in the bible. what aload of BOLLUX god didnt write the bible... a bunch of self rightous idiots did in like the 3rd centuary.

I used to be Wiccan. But i stopped. But now i am questioning my religion. Im really confused as to if there really is a god. I am just so confused. After learning all of that in science, it just seems more real. And every time i pray, it helps NOTHING! So im confused. My family is christian. And the only one that thinks i am defective is my mom. And she is not christian. SHe doesnt even pray or anything. SHe just cant accpet that fact that her 14 year old "Baby" Is bi. SHe needs to grow up and realiz that I am not defective. Its just how i am.

im christian , and i fight myself alot over whether im going to hell for this or not.
but hey, god loves everyone, right?
as long as i believe and put my trust in him, i think im in the right.i hope i will be accepted into heaven , but it's just the way i am. i cant stop this or help this more than can i help the fact that i was born a white female.
it just happens.
and im pretty cool with that.

I'm a Christian but i don't believe that gay people will go to hell. I try to go to church every Sunday because the sermons are really moving and teach us good morals. I don't know why people are so anti-Christian..... it really isn't that bad at all. My church accepts all people even gay people.... i think >.<.

LittlePinky82 I'm Christian. Jesus himself didn't talk about gay people so his word is the only one that matters in the long run since he's lord. I agree. I'm Christian as well. My church and I wouldn't be mean to someone just because they were gay. We definately don't agree with it Andn I don't want to offend anyone but I believe those are feelings of confusion so I just pray that God will help people. But I'm not saying gays or bis are bad people, I just hope things work out right for everyone in the end. And I'm sorry for those of you who have churches that aren't willing to work with you during this time and aren't very understanding. And I apologize for anything I've said to offend anyone and for those Christians who area rude, they probably just want the best for you, and are trying to help.

I go to a methodist church now cause my friend invited me. A lot of my friends go there and it's like a small town thing I guess, everyone knows each other. But the people there are really really nice and one of the youth instructors has a gay brother. So personally I think they would exept me anywho cause these are the people I know and love but wheather I'm christian or not that's a different story. Right now I'm thinking that you beleive what you are forced to beleive and all of us are so busy beleiving what our parents are beleiving or what they tell us to beleive in church we aren't really thinking of what WE think. So I don't know. I guess I find it all kinda fascinating.

daine_the_wild_mage is any one here christian? i was just wondering seeing as most (i wont say all 'cos i dont honestly know) christian churches believe that being gay is a mortal sin which means you'll burn in hell. my family are die-hard catholics, which is probably the reason i haven't told them i'm bi yet. they'd would probably have me exercised. personally im wiccan, but i haven't told my family that yet either... but back to the topic, is anyone here christian? I'm a Christian. Of course you feel guilty, you know? First of all know that Jesus died for you, decide how you feel about that, then move on to other less important things like you sexuality. God will forgive you, but if your not a Christian your going to burn in hell, no doubt about that.
