My first reactions to shounen-ai were around five or six and obviously I was somewhat curious and disturbed by it at first. As time went on, it grew onto me. Rather quickly too considering my parents raised me to be open to those ideals.

As for yaoi though, I couldn't really understand much of anything until hormones kicked in. I simply kept away from it until I started becoming curious about it too.

I think it was veeery cute o.o

When I thought I was Buga, I just ignored it, it was never something that pissed me off, I've always been a little too liberal. And slowly I began to get dragged to it. Actually I began to realize I like guys when I saw BL, rped with a guy, was drunk and stuff like that.

Hmmmm..... Medium long story, I was eleven, was recently obsessed with Teen Titans, Beast Boy was my favorite, I did an image search on him, I found one really good picture on a place called Fanart-central.net Thus, I checked out the Harry Potter and anime/manga fanart on there, I think the first peice of Yaoi that I saw was an OC, no, it wasn't, I was just riffling through the Anime section, and there was a section called yaoi/yuri and I wondered what that was so I looked, at first I was like. O_O OMG! WTF?! I'm not sure what the pic was. I just remember realizing that it didn;t look that bad to me, and I just looked at it some more, eventually I got to the Harry Potter section and there was Harry/Draco and Srius/Remus all over the place. xd Also, my friend, who wasn't that into anime, but she wanted to know what Yaoi was and why I liked it so much, she didn't do thumbnails, she didn't look at the ratings, which is about the worst thing you oculd do, and she didn't even look at the title, I was going to stop her, but her computer was too fast, she clicked it. It was a Snape/Harry thing, we went blind for about 10 seconds. rofl I was litterally on the floor laughing my a** off at her, she was shreiking "My eyes! THEY BURRRRN!" burning_eyes xd

At first I thought that yaoi and insest and all that fun stuff was gross but know I like it. Nee-chan is the one who knocked some sence into me.

I thought it was cute, before shounen-ai I had never seen two guys be so compassionate towards one another. twisted Then I saw Yaoi. xd domokun heart
