Ugu frowned. His opponent was on its knees, still not dead from the sure-kill jab at the back of its skull. The monster wavered on its furry haunches, and turned to attack the shinigami once more. Its violent and swaying jabbing strikes pushed forward toward Ugu, and went toward the shinigami's face.
However, as it went forward in it's violent attack, Ugu would let loose his Shikai's skill. Blood would scream out of the body of the hollow, and would quickly attached themselves to Ugu's sword within a blink.

The finishing move sucked out the remnants of the black bile that the hollow considered blood. It brought the blood from all around Ugu, too, into Egeus. Within a moment the blood in the water was cleared and left in its early cleansed brilliance. Ugu sighed as he looked around himself.
After a short moment after the final move the hollow left soul society. It fizzled into the wicked nether, never to be seen again. It was peaceful once more. Ugu's blade followed in suit, shrinking itself and sheathing itself within Ugu's clothing.

Ugu, completely refreshed from his bout with the hollow, went toward the edge of the waterfall. He jumped down, falling with the water, till his feet touched the stone he had been on previous to the fight. He then sat down and began to focus on his chi. Again he opened his mind, and again he focused his might on his surroundings.

Peace. Focus. None of these powers must ever drain into nothing. No hollow should ever go unpunished. No demonic evil should ever try and bring harm to anything. Peace and focus. As long as he possessed those two things, everything else would fall into place. He let out a steady breath, which condensed upon the water splattering down upon him.
The water that fell from the heavens (AKA the waterfall) continued to pound down upon the shinigami.

Water continued to pour onto his shoulders. The clear liquid went down to his skin, cleaning the small bits of grime from the shallow scars. He kept his energy within himself, focusing ever moment on his Reiatsu, as he sat on the rock. Ugu let out a deep breath. The man then inhaled, and then exhaled, as he focused on both his breath and his focus.

Ugu sighed. Water continued to harrow his shoulders. Each second more water bashed against his body, sending rainbows off of his skin. The heavy breath from his lips went forward, pushing the droplits of water away. As he was pounded over and over again by the waterfall, he continued to focus on his mental training.

Kaiya had watched in awe as the shinigami battled with the Hollow. She stood motionless, her zanpakutous in hand, as he finally finished the battle. Her eyes took in every slash, every dodge. She wanted to learn from this. She admired the way he handled his own zanpakutou. It was where she wanted to be. Hopefully soon. As soon as he had handled the Hollow, the kind shinigami went back to the training that she had so rudely interrupted. She sighed, putting away her zanpakutous.
She hesitated. Not wanting to disturb him any further than she already had, Kaiya decided she needed to head back. She bowed, deep at the waist. Even if he couldn't see it, she must be polite. Her voice was soft and hard to hear, "Thank you for your time. I must be on my way." Turning, she picked her way through the woods once more.
[Alas, it seems we're never on at the same time. T-T]

Ugu's eyes went to the leaving girl. He sighed. The only human contact he had since leaving Rokungai had just left him. Another sigh came from his lips as he stood up. His body towered above the water below, and blocked the water from hitting the rock he stood upon.
And he sighed, again, as he walked out into the stream. The shinigami walked slowly toward the bank of the waterfall, making way toward the forested thickness of the forest.

Ugu returned to his training area. However, he made way toward a section of the forest he had never trespassed into. He crossed the shadowy glades that found themselves deep in the Soul Society forest. The shinigami walked, and continued to walk, till he reached an oddity. A large rock.
The rock was roughly three times his own size. It towered over him. The rock also had a diameter of some fourty meters around its massive self. Ugu's right hand would touch its hardened body. The thing was massive, and it reminded himself of his goal.
Ugu stared at the rock with an untamed amount of ferocity. His eyebrows bunched together and his lime eyes stiffened as he began to think about his goal. The man then punched the rock with his fist, releasing the small bit of pent up 'crap' in his mind.

The man slumped his head against the rock. He then reached behind his head with his left hand and pulled out the small bit of string that kept his pony tail together. His eyes still pierced the rock in front of himself, un-abaited by the rock's nill reactions. Ugu stared at the rock, angry with what he saw in it.
His hair became loose and spread upon his massive shoulders.

Ugu's eyes winced as his forehead continued to pressure the boulder in front of himself. A tear weld up and splattered downward. The tear richoted off the grass beneath him. The man's eyes continued to stare forward, where the bland gray stone pounded his every sense.
Unmovable. Unshatterable. Immune. Invincible. His left hand touched the rock's coarse skin, feeling its deep cracks. "I want to be the fortress that protects Eden." Ugu's left hand curled upon itself, making a fist. He then slammed his fist into the craggy rock. The rock made a wild cracking sound when his fist collided with its skin. It sent out small splinters into the area around Ugu, stabbing into the maleable dirt.
A fire burned in his eyes as he focused on the gray mass in front of himself.

He then withdrew his arms. The shinigami brought his tree-trunk like arms to his jerkin and placed his roughed up hands on the collar of his shinigami wear. He then tugged at the clothing- ripping them off entirely. The only pieces of his clothing were the sandals on his feet and the pants he wore. Ugu simply let his clothing fall to the side when he let go of them.
The shinigami then Shunpo'd to the top of the rock. His lime eyes went around himself, seeing the grayness of the rock and the green trees that flew away from it in every direction. He stood there, for another few minutes, as breezes came and went. Every moment his eyes stared outwards, seeking the green emptiness of the universe, and the blue sky miles above him.
Ugu took out the Zanpakutou on his belt. He gripped it with its point facing down, and quickly stabbed it into the rock beneath him. "I will not leave this rock till I have acheived my inner strength. I will not leave here till I possess the power I need to trump every shinigami, hollow, quincy, and other creatures of the universe." The man let go of Egeus and stretched his arms into the air. He continued to howl at the world above, "So I will be able to protect Eden!" A roar exited his lips as he finished his howling.

A large breath exited his lips soon after. His mind turned to the sword that he stabbed into the large rock that he currently stood on. "... No," he said to himself, focusing on the green hilt of his zanpakutou. The shinigami sat down onto his buttox and crossed his legs. Ugu sighed, again, while he stared at the sword in front of himself.
"Yelling at nothing will get me nothing. Yelling at someone will get me nowhere." He sighed, again, at the end of his words. "I must get stronger.. But.. How? All my classmates are too feeble to keep up with me, I cannot find any high level hollows to save, and there is no teacher for me." The man stared at the bloodless blade seeking the answers from his silent zanpakutou.
"Egeus.." The frog them warped out of the blade, and stared right back at the shinigami. Its white skin, with plenty of pure white warts along its skin, stared right at Ugu with unimpeded annoyance.
"Ugu. You're an idiot," the toad said simply. It was simple, actually, when the reptile continued his speech, "You are seeking answers with the sword, Ugu. With the sword. You already said that yelling gets you no where. Where would fighting and training get you? Simply more training and more fighting. You must see that there is a trend in this."
