Kaori's face flushed red in his hold, but she hugged him back gently, unable to stop herself from shivering as he whispered in her ear. "Thanks..." she murmured. She sighed softly. For some reason, she suddenly felt better.
"Yeah, I'm telling you to shut up," he hissed, tail cracking loudly against a tree that happened to be a bit too close. He froze at her words, and then frowned. "You said almost impossible..." he murmured. "That means there is some chance of it happening!" He grabbed her shoulders, first making sure the dagger he'd taken from her was safely away from her. "Meghan..." he said softly, staring into the girl's eyes. He pale cheeks flushed pink as he realized what he was doing, but he didn't look away or even blink.

Sai took a step back, holding her half an arms length away. "You feeling better?" he smiled gently. "You know, you can tell me anything," he nodded.
Sora's face started to turn red, as she struggled. "What the hell are you doing?! Let me go!" she cried, trying to break free from his grasp. "Yeah, I said almost impossible, but all the same that doesn't mean much!" she protested back. Sora knew she had once been used to something like this, trying to be changed back, but she didn't like it now; not with this girl inside her and his gaze.

Kaori smiled, shaking her head. "No, I'm fine now..." She laughed softly, looking up at him. "Well, I think you know quite a bit from all of my crazy outbursts," she murmured, though she couldn't remember what she'd said allowed, and what had been played through her head for only her eyes to see.
Kai didn't move, and only made his hold on her shoulders more firm. "Meghan?" he said softly again. "Can you hear me?" His voice was near a whisper as he stared into Sora's eyes. He saw her discomfort and her face turn red, but he didn't change his expression, nor did he let his hold loosen at all. "Meghan..." he called again. His own face was nearing scarlet now, but he ignored it.

"I may know a lot," he smiled, "but that doesn't mean you should stop speaking out loud. I like listening to you, Kaori, and I know it helps get things off your chest, so to speak."
Sora couldn't take it anymore, this was too much for her to think of. "Just remember Kai," she said coldly, nearly audable, "If you tell her, you'll never see her again," she laughed as her eyes slowly closed, the cross disappearing and the scar coming back. Her shoulders suddenly contracted inward from the pain of regaining the scar, as she fell foward, her forhead landing on Kai's shoulder.

[I have to make up for the lack of real life romance in my role playing! xD;; -lame-]
Kaori glanced up at him again, sighing. "O-ok..." she murmured. "Maybe it would help if I spoke aloud about... things." She took a deep breath, pausing her walking. "When I was... four, I think? Some people came into my house. I think it was because my dad wouldn't make a sword for them. But they came one night when everyone was asleep. I had come back downstairs just in time to.... to see my parents killed." She bowed her head, partly in shame and partly to hide the tears welling up in her eyes. "I went into a rage and I... I killed them all. Then I was kicked out of our home and have been wandering ever since. I had no one else to take me in..." She fell silent, wrapping her arms around herself.
Kai glared at her as she spoke, ears straining slightly to catch her words. He jumped slightly as Meghan fell forward and frowned. "Meghan?" he asked softly. Then he sighed and hugged her close, arms wrapping tightly around her. He placed his head in the crook of her neck, closing his eyes.
[I've got to go. Watching Flight Plan! I don't know if I'll be back on. T.T]

Sai walked along as well, listening to Kaori. "I see... so that's why... you had your guard up when we all first met," he said softly to himself. He wrapped an arm around her. "Kaori, nothing like that will happen again, I'll be there to protect you, don't worry," he said softly, trying to console her.
[[to bad she fainted o.O i'll wake her up just for you!!]]
Meghan faintly remembered someone softly calling her name for the past while. She couldn't remember much, just that voice calling out to her as she floated in darkness, curled in a ball; she felt hopeless. She couldn't seem to open her eyes then, but suddenly the voice seemed louder, closer; she thought she knew the voice, and it felt warm and inviting.
Her eyes flashed under their beds [[eye lids xD]], as she regained consciousness. She tensened slightly, her back resuming its normal position, as she felt a fermiliar aura, hearing a fermiliar voice as arms wrapped around her and someones head rested against her neck.
"...Kai?" she said softly, finally opening her eyes to see the fog caressing the trees and bushes. "Kai-chan, what's wrong?"

[It was good. And crazy. o.o And now I'm off to bed! xP]
Kaori remained silent for a moment, then gently grabbed the arm he'd placed around her. "Thanks..." she murmured quietly, smiling again as Kei settled on her shoulder, also attempting to comfort her. "I don't know what I'd do without you guys." She laughed faintly and then looked back ahead at the ferris wheel. "Now, let's think of happier things like whatever that thing is there!" she said, pointing towards it.
Kai didn't move, he only hugged her tighter. "Nothing's wrong," he whispered, voice muffled because he didn't raise his head. "Everything's fine now." He was truely scared, for probably the first time in his life. Sora had threatened about Meghan, and he realized now he wouldn't be alright if she were gone. He couldn't tell her, as much as he wanted too. He wasn't sure what kind of power Sora had over Meghan, but she did seem to have the upper hand. Kai sighed very softly, still not raising his head. He just didn't want to move.

Sai nodded. "Let's... wait,you mean that?" he asked, poingting to the ferris wheel. He laughed softly, shaking his head. "Sorry, I forgot you've never been to an amusment park. It's a ferris wheel; it's quite fun," he smiled reasuringly.
Meghan was confused, but she hugged him back, thinking he needed it. "Kai..." she whispered, wondering what was happening. She closed her eyes slightly, knowing it wasn't the right time to ask anything. "Kai-chan..." she whispered again. What... happened? she thought to herself, turning her head as she leaned on his shoulder, still sitting and in his arms. You say nothing happened, but why do I have a feeling I did something? And.. how did we end up like this? Her fingers closed themselves, grasping lightly on his black shirt; she was confused and felt scared slightly, not knowing what had happened; but she felt safe and calm, all the same, just being there. "I wish... this wouldn't end, no matter what happened," she said softly, not meaning to say it at all.

[Haha, I describe things as crazy a lot when I'm referring to how good they are. xP]
Kaori's face flushed a faint pink as she nodded, once more bouncing lightly in place in her enthusiasm. Her tail was flicking rapidly behind her as well. "Yeah, that. I want to see the other things too!" She said excitedly. She grinned and started walking again, pushing away all thoughts of the past for now.
Kai still didn't move. Not when she whispered his name, and not when he felt her fingers grasp his shirt. He just held her, happy she was back but scared and nervous as well. I need to tell her, she has a right to know! he told himself, but another voice began scolding him. No, you can't! Don't you remember what that Sora girl said? And she's working with Mergex, so it can't be good! Kai's hold tightened just a bit. I'll... tell Sai. Sometime when it's just me and him, so Sora won't find out but I'll be following her rules at the same time. He snapped out of his thoughts as Meghan spoke again, and his eyes widened suddenly. Then they slowly closed again. "Me... me neither..." he murmured. If his face hadn't been noticably red before, it definitely was now.

Sai laughed softly, shaking his head. "Don't worry, we'll have enough time to get through everything," he said reasuringly. He started towards the amusment park to, watching her tail flicking back and forth in amusment [[are we waiting for meggie and kai to finish, or should we just go back and forth between the topics to post?]]
Meghan smiled faintly to herself, hearing him. She saw something colorful flutter in front of her as she blinked a few times. She pushed herself away from Kai and turned away, her face burning with embarrassment. "W-we should be getting back," she said softly, trying to remember which way they had come from. "Kaori-chan and Sai-kun are probably worried about us," she said, knowing she didn't care, that she just wanted to stay where she was.

Kaori glanced over her shoulder, smiling at Sai excitedly. "Are you sure?" she asked, crossing her arms over her chest. She attempted to look concerned, but her excitement kept her from doing so and she let out a laugh. She held out her arms as Kei settled in them, and she hugged the dragon close, nuzzling him with her face. Then she turned again, bouncing happily towards the park.
[Er, I'm running out of ideas... ><;;]
A faint look of disappointment appeared on Kai's face as she pulled from him, but it faded almost instantly. He let his arms drop by his sides and sighed quietly, eyes closed. "If you want..." he began softly, now looking at her again. "I can follow their scent so we can find them." He bowed his head slightly, waiting for the pink to fade from his cheeks as he fussed restlessly with his tail.

Sai nodded. "I'm almost positive we'll hvae enough time," he answered back. He watched as she nuzzled Kei and smiled faintly to himself. He looked around for a moment, thinking he heard his name but shrugged it off; there was no one out there, so no one could have called his name, right?[[i ran out of ideas a while ago xD]]
Meghan breathed in a few times to calm herself before looking over at him, smiling. "Yeah... it would seem I can't find my way in this fog," she pouted for a moment then laughing softly. Stupid, she thought to herself, why'd you do that? Why'd you have to push away... she heard a voice scolding her.

Kaori paused as she glanced over her shoulder, seeing Sai looking around. "Is something wrong?" she called, still bouncing lightly on her feet. She frowned slightly, tilting her head a bit to the side.
Kai frowned to himself and then stood abruptly, patting the dirt off of himself. Then he raised his head towards the sky, sniffing the air lightly. His eyes settled back on Meghan, his expression returning to the regular uncaring and aloof one of normal. "Come on, let's go." He held his hand out towards her, face unchanging.

"Huh?" Sai said, looking at her. "Oh, no. It's nothing. I just, thought I heard something," he smiled, quickening his pace so he was walking beside her.
Meghan took his hand and stood up before looking around again. "It's... kinda creepy in here," she said softly, feeling a shiver go up her spine. She looked down at the ground, although the fog was thickening, and thought to herself, a faint blush still on her face. I wonder how Sai and Kaori are doing... by themselves, she couldn't help but want to smirk at her remark, but didn't, not wanting to speak her mind.
[[oh yeah! MeruPuri xD just realized i never responded to that. I know right?!?! it's the best part, w. the ice cream. i woulda been like @.@]]

[Holy crap! I didn't even realize I'd logged out of this account by accident! My secret's out! Nuuuuu! -falls to knees- Don't tell anyone! DDx]
Kaori watching him a moment longer, and then turned back to the dragon she held. "Oh, alright..." she murmured, shifting Kei in her arms. She kept glancing at Sai from the corner of his eye as he pulled up beside her.
Kai nodded, running a hand through his hair as he sighed again. Then he cleared his throat and looked down at her. "Yeah, let's hurry," he mumbled. He began walking forward, holding her hand lightly in his. He forced the blush not to return to his cheeks as he moved quickly, yet slowly enough that he hoped she'd be able to keep up. After carrying that huge sword on his back for most of his life, he'd built up his strength. Now that he was without it, he was aware that he accidentally moved faster than normal. He kept glancing at her when she wasn't looking.
[It's put me in this... depressing, romantic mood... -sigh-]
