Terry's monk collapses to the ground, once again an old man in robes. In less than an instant, the next screen loads as the video-game announcer yells ROUND TWO: FIGHT! Terry starts off strong this time, imediately swtiching over into were-beast mode and charging the ninja.

"I wouldn't say I have learned how to summon yet. 'Sides, we didn't learn stuff like that on the farm. Least not until later and by then I was in public school." The taps and clicks from the buttons mix and mingle with the clacks and stomps from the rest of the arcade.

"I didn't even know the stuff my dad was real till a few months ago. I thought he just, you know, was a burnt out hippie or something."

Terry pounds on the buttons some more, slashing and tearing. "My dad's such a goof."

Somewhere to the left, a buzzer sounds as kids hoot and scream in delight.

You know I hate it when you smoke, Alyssa... "I can tell it's bugging you though. So just one."

Keila's tone in her voice was enough for Alyssa to shove the packet of cigarettes back into her bag; she could always smoke when she and Keila went their separate ways. Hopefully soon, Alyssa was beginning to go through a major withdrawl sequence.

Her fingers were always moving. Whether it was figedting or playing with some part of her skirt, Alyssa could stop moving. Every one in awhile, Alyssa would have a mild muscle spasm where her legs or arms would be shakingly then stop in an instant. This, was the the worst thing about withdrawls; Alyssa couldn't stand it.

"Alyssa, why do you smoke?"

This question caught Alyssa off-gaurd. No one had ever asked her that question, especially if she was friends with someone. Not many people had the nerve to ask, and the ones who did never got an actual answer. Alyssa lifted her hand to rub the back of her neck akwardly; the feeling of her nails against her bare skin sent a tingling sensation down her spine.

After the few moments of akward silence, Alyssa answered, 'I don't know Keila..I just do and always have...at least...ever since...' Alyssa cut herself off, feeling the harmful tears well up in her round, burgundy eyes. Reminising in her father's death was too much for Alyssa; she despised reliving it in her dreams. So, talking about ti was twice as difficult. Besides, she normally only talked about Mr. Darkwood with Kaida, but since they are not talking Alyssa didn't want to discuss it.

The slathering were-beast auto turned after being knocked back and down by the teleporting ninja, only to stand there, panting, while Terry's hands froze over the controls.

"You aha...Yeah it, um, comes and goes?" Terry coughed, and after a long pause, went back to the video game controls, attempting to regain his now diminished lead. "There were a lot of things my dad used to tell me that I never believed. Why'd you move around so much?" Terry asked, trying to deflect questions back on Tekishe.

"Oh, my mothers work. She's one of the top researchers in summoning in the East. We moved out of India when She was offered a job at the Three Shining Dragons' College of Wizardry, Wonderific Studies, and Buisiness in Shanghai before they transferred her to their Kyoto branch. We moved out here when she retired mainly to escape the large number of people my father, my brother, and I have made angry in Shanghai and Kyoto." He explained as he re-tore into the motionless Warewolf as Terry stood frozen.

As hes character transitioned into the FMV or one of her super attacks, Tekishe turned to Terry. "You know, you should keep it out. Every month or so when I was transferred to a new school all the kids would make fun of my tail for the first few days, untill they thry to pull on it and then, heh, well," Tekishe smiled, his firey tail flared momentarily, "so it was pretty nice to see that some kids here have them as well."

Darius followed the girls a smile on his face, this had been a great day so far. Rides, food, fun. He would definately have to thank Liz at some point. For now though, it was time to get something to eat. There was a hamburger stand nearby and he thought that we be the perfect place to get a meal.

Darius went to the desk and said to the man at the stand, "I'll have...1...2...3...4, 5, 6. 6 burgers."

The man raised his eyebrow looking at the boy.

"They aren't all for me okay!"

Darius smiled a confident smile and then chuckled, "Thanks girls."

It was a short while later when the man came back, "Here is your 6 orders of burgers," he muttered as he looked at him with jelousy.

"Thank you"

He gave a burger to each of the girls and then led them to a bench to sit at. He took a seat down on one side and then waited for the girls to sit down.

Darius smiled, "I guess we were kinda lucky then weren't we?"

He took a few bites of his burger chewed and then swallowed before speaking again.

"Yeah this is a pretty big place. Even bigger then the house we built. You'd probably love it here. We have a hotsprings, we have a library, we have the dorms, we have little festivals like this, we have a llittle training area and," he said with a pause as he looked at Lily and Liz, "We have the gorge..." he smiled knowing that the girls wouldn't know what he ment.

Darius smiled as Liz prodded him on, "Well short and simple it's a gorge with a muddy bottom. Now what's so special about it. Well in true fashion, me and Lily and Liz have gone to it a lot, and it always had the same result, us getting messy. It's just a good place to be and have some fun, fool around, all that kind of stuff!"

Darius didn't wish to say much about the history of Lily and Darius in the gorge because that could lead them down the wrong way real quick. So he took another nible on his burger.
