Oh... I love guppies. We had a tankful for awhile. But then one night my son decided they were hungry. Needless to say, I don't have any guppies right now. xd

Jason has 3 saltwater tanks, and he used to maintain one for our chiropractor in Albuquerque before we moved. One of the little cleaner fish used to love cleaning Jason's hand when he'd stick it in the tank! And one of our clownfish used to sit in our hand like an anemone when we'd let the fingers wave gently in the water. heart

I found two more of Jade from last May. Jade and her cousin, Mini-Vader (Alan) And with her cousin Cheri. Every time Jade sees a picture of Baby Bipper, she swears it's Cheri, and *I'm* wrong for disagreeing with her! blaugh

Now they have a special kind of I'm guessing plastic that you put into the tank that is only for the babies to get into that they don't get out of. You put food into it and the little ones go in and are protected from the adults. Either that or make sure you have plenty of ground cover: such as plants or hiding spots. We managed to have babies 3 times before Justin fed them. Out of the 3 batches, only about 6 or 7 were eaten. We had gotten plenty of plants for the bottom of the tank. The real ones so that they can hide and eat at the same time.

i know what you're on about, i doubt they would in the petshop though! they don't have much idea in there. my female guppy is still very fat, maybe she's just been over-eating? xd i don't really mind if any babies get eaten, one of the reasons i chose the guppies was for a bit of free, live food, and survivors will be a bonus.
