"Kn..know you can keep the bear." Marcus said slowly. "I think I'll be alright." He smiled a little "Besides I can always buy a new one when I get enough credits." He told her pushing the bear back into her grasp as he backed away. He returned to Renji side his hand stuffed into his pockets. "It nothing Ayumi, everyone needs a friend." He looked up at Renji and smiled.

Renji raised his eyebrows as Sanzo tossed him that serious look. Now what was that look supposed to mean? He frowned slightly in response but held his tongue, not wanting to pick at the fresh stitches in their recently mended relationship. He cleared his throat loudly, nodding his head towards Ayumi.
"Of course you can always hang out with us, though thee really aren't many girls in our little orbit, ne, kohai? Oi, you should meet Nanahara, something tells me you two would really hit it off. She's.... fourteen, I think. But she's a short one. Taller than you, though...." He looked to Marcus then and chuckled. "Taller than you, too," he added. Renji was starting to feel like a giant.... well, when he completely ignore Sanzo's overpowering presence, that is.
"oi, Sanzo, let it go with the tacos already. No one like em but you... " He rolled his eyes, visualizing the greasy meat filled tortilla. Ugh. "Rice? Right on, kohai, who doesn't like a nice bowl of rice."
As Marcus made his way back over to his side, smiling up at im, Renji blushed just a bit. It felt weird having someone so obviously taken with him. Did he detect a hint of hero worship? He hadn't the slightest idea of how to deal with that. He hadn't much dealt with his own younger sibligs before, and his older sibling had moved out and begun their own lives when he was small, so he couldn't recall being in that position himself. With a sigh and a chuckle, he placed his arm easily around Marcus' shoulders once more. he seemed to like it, and Renji didn't mind it too much himself.

Marcus grinned broaden as he settled under Renji arm. He smiled and up at Renji then tilted his head. Why was he blushing? He shurged feeling right comfortable there. He blinked and looked up at Renji. "What a ta...co?" He asked blinking.

"One of the most disgusting things to ever comeout of the cafeteria. It's like chopped up hamburger, stuffed inside a cracker, with a salad on top of it. " Renji made a gagging sound, rolling his eyes and sticking out his tongue.
"though our friend Sanzo here loves them, I thik it's safe to say he's the only one in the group who does. You never had a taco before? I think it might be American or soemthing, I don't know."

"Oh..."Marcus said nodding. "Ok." He grinned and nodded. "They don't sound like the best things in the world." He aggreed noding. "I'd prefer a blow of rice of a taco any day." He said smiling. "Cause it is easier to tell what in it."

"Alright already, I like them, you don't. Let's just drop it already, all this taco talk makes me hungrier....ooooiiiiiii."
Sanzo clutched his stomach as a loud noise emminated from his gut. Even though Ariko had brought him lunch, it was nearly nine hours since he ate a thing.
"Look guys, let's move this along. The caf' closes at midnight and I'm fu-fa-friggin starving." Sanzo stumbled a bit on his words when he realized Ayumi WAS still right in front of him. He just didn't feel right using foul language around kids.
Ayumi's eyes lit up when Marcus told her to keep the bear. She still felt a bit bad for taking an obvious present but she thought about what she could do in return.
"I know what I'll do Marku-san, don't you buy a new bear. I'm going to buy you a new one. And you'll have to take it, because it'll be a gift from a friend."
She smiled and gave Marcus a quick hug. Squeezing as tight as her thin arms would allow her, then releasing as suddenly as she had grabbed him.

Marcus blushed from both the hug and the mention of a new bear. "Thank you Ayumi." He said bowing slightly when she was done with her hug. "I'll reminder that." His stomach grumbled causing him to blush a little more.

As Ayumi cheered up, Cyndir stood and placed his hands on his hips. He found it rather amusing that Marcus had taken a liking to Renji. He wondered briefly what he would do about it. Cyndir knew Renji's family history as well as Renji knew Cyndir's.
As Sanzo and Marcus's stomachs began to rumble, almost as if on cue, Cyndir let out a bright laugh. It felt good to laugh again. He'd been such an emotional train-wreck all day.
"Alright already, let's all go get some food before your rumblings and grumblings either deafen me or remind my stomach that it's emp--"
His cheeks turned pink and his grin broadened as his own stomach let out a noise of its own. There was a brief silence, before he erupted into laughter.

Jezz walked down the hallway and came up to the small moshpit that had gathered in the hallway. She had her arms crossed over her stomach and she wore a thin zippered sweater. People worried enough with her being pale, didn't need to be scaring the little kids...though that might be an interesting thing to do on a full moon.
Walking right through the middle of the group and up to Renji she stood less than a foot away from him. "I need to talk to you. Now." she said it matter of factly, as if he had no say, and she sounded a bit angry as she said it. Probably because she hadn't been able to get to sleep and he was the cause

Marcus looked up at the fumming girl in a mixture of awe and fear. He took quick steps back to get outa her way. She so pale.. He thought to himself as he noticed her very forward talking. She must be one of his friends. He thought a smile returning to his face.

Renji blinked, startled by Jezz's sudden appearance, more so for the tone she'd chosen to adopt. He looked to Marcus as he slipped out from under his arm and retreated backward, then back to Jezz. he laughed a bit, placing a hand on his hip and a smirk on his face.
"And koban wa to you, too, Juanaros-san. How are you this lovely evening. I myself am having an ok night, though my a** still aches a bit, ne? I really thinks it's bruised up something good. Now that we've gotten those little pleasantries out of the way...."
Renji turned back to Marcus, and with a gentle shove in the small of his back, sent him towards the small group. He offered them all a brief bow.
"You guys head on to the caf. Don't let me hold you up, I'll catch up later. If I don't make it before closing I'll see you guys after curfew. Oi, cyn-kun, don't open your gift without me, ne?" He smiled to Ayumi. "Well, maybe not you , kohai. So I may not see you til tomorrow. If that's the case, make sure you find Miko Nanahara after curfew. Tell her I sent you."
He waved to everyone, then spun to face Jezz, grasping her firmly by the elbow. He towed her away to his own bedroom. Time was working against them, and all in all they had little to waste. She would wait all damn night to show up, he thought sourly. Cut it a little closer to curfew next time, why don't you?

Marcus turned to look at Renji as he lefted. He then turned to look at the small group in front of him feeling uncomforable by self. "Bye Renji-san..." Marcus said quietly as he shuffled his way forwards. He gave a little smile as he looked. Then shifted his gaze back down to the ground.

Sanzo waved as Renji took leave with Jezz, abondoning his new acquaintance. Now that Renji left, he and Cyndir's dinner date had doubled in size rather quickly.
"Well Cyn-kun, looks like four for dinner. Let's go already, come on Ayumi, Marcus, move those feet along. Just stay close to us and we'll be there in no time."
Ayumi smiled and nodded, clutching the bear to her chest with one hand, she reached up and grabbed Cyndir's.
"Could I hold you're hand please? I REALLY don't want to get lost again."

Cyndir blinked, slightly dumbfounded by Jezz's sudden appearance and subsequent departure...with Renji. He frowned, waving as his friend tugged the girl into his room.
"Ee...Ja ne..." he said, slightly confused. He looked at the small cardbox in his hand and shrugged, putting it in the pocket of his rumpled green khakis. He turned to the others, though his comment was directed more so at Sanzo than anyone else, as Ayumi and Marcus probably wouldn't know of Renji's reputation just yet. "Manwhore Motoki strikes again?" he suggested, raising his hand in a gesture of exhasperation.
"So four, is it?"
He glanced down as Ayumi took hold of his hand. His heart melted, and he almost called the girl Nikuri. He ruffled her hair and smiled at her.
"Hai, of course, Ayumi-chan. Can't have you vanishing on us, ne?"
He smiled at her again, as they headed for the cafeteria.

Marcus came up from behind the group, no quieter then ussaly. He again had the feeling of being out of place and at odds. He kept his eye focused on the ground, or the heels of the other three in front of him. He realy hoped that he would get to eat most of his food this time, and not have half of it stolen. He didn't think that would happen with so many people about this time. He was glade, his mother had always told him to eat more then he should. She said it would people him grow. He didn't know, not that he minded his height, but sometimes he wished his was taller.
