It was my uncle's but he said I could have it since he has no interest in modern technology. A three year old toshiba satellite. My Uncles great, 58 years old and yet not homophobic. I went to live with him after my parents gave me the boot once I gradutated. Now I live with my bi cousin and his girlfriend. Woah, you're uncle seems really nice. You're lucky that someone else in your family is a bi, no one in my family is a gay/bi/les so I don't have anyone to turn to. crying actually my uncle is the meanest most corchity, grumpy old man in the world, or at least he pretends to be. He just doesn't discriminate on the basis of sexuality. He never like my parents anyway, in spite of the fact that my mom is his baby sister. My cousin is the only family member that I know of who's anything other then straight. I think my uncle is the only straight gay tolerant member of my family. Woah, really? He seems really nice to me. My family is somewhat tolerant of gay people. . . Most of the time at least. My Unlce Ryan is a very strange man. He's an old crusty widower who never reproduced. For some reason I can not fathom, I've always been his favorite nephew. I don't pretend to know how his mind works, but I think he's just grumpy all the time because he's sick of the world's stupidity.

This may shock people, but my lesbian mother has always been unhappy about my being a lesbian. She actually went as far as to tell me when I was 14 that homosexuality was nothing more than sexual situations created by porn directors to sell more films. eek When I finally discovered the truth, I'd thought she was just trying to protect me from her life's hardships. Nope. She doesn't approve of my sexual orientation and belittles me constantly about it. Can I really call her a homophobe though? Not really. It's an odd situation. I've subsequently separated myself from her. I haven't seen my father since I was 12, but I doubt he'd be bothered. Knowing my luck he'd ask if he could watch. *rolls eyes* And people wonder why I call my family Hispanic trailer trash. *LOL*

my mom doesn't mind me being gay for some reason (i am autistic), i think my dad is a bit apethetic towards any of his children being gay. so i think i just have apethetic parents. funny when you think about it though.

I can't trust my parents with anything about myself. I always have to buy yaoi that I get for my birthday, or someone else buys me, or I just have to write it myself. My mother would kill me if she knew I was going out with a girl (who is the cutest thing I have ever seen ^^ *purr*) When I'm out of school I plan to move in with her. And everything I own (including my computer) is coming with me. So my mom can be a homophobe all she wants, aint gonna change who I love

My parents both know I'm bi, and they really don't care (Well, actually, my mom still says that she doesn't know how she feels, but we still get along just fine, it hasn't ruined our relationship or anything). I was really scared about how my dad would take it, since he's a bit homophobic, but all he said was "You shouldn't have expected anything bad from me. Speaking as a man, we don't understand why women aren't doing each other more often." xd

You can tell them you don't like the comments iwthout telling them you're bi. I dislike sexist comments against guys and I'm not a male, and I dislike racist comments even though I'm not of that race, it's perfectly fine for you to tell them not to say those comments without saying you're bi.
