It was then that Aspyn swam to the bottom. She liked the bottom a lot. It was like being in a whole different world, when your feet actually could touch ground. A world where everyone could fly and there was no noise and everything was crystal clear.

Finally sinking to the bottom of the lake Hanyuu sighed mentally. Her stomach led on the silt and her paws out stretched in both directions... This really was one of those glorious feelings, wasn't it?

Apspyn giggled inwardly as a school of tiny fish came 'round to visit her. They nibbled at her ear and then dart away cautiously, then slowly come forth again to examine the strange pink thing in their home.

Hanyuu spots the fish and freezes... Even little fish made her feel somewhat scared. How they moved, they were so different.. They can breath underwater. It all just creeped her out.

Aspyn giggled inwardly. it's just minnows, Han! she writes in the sand.
The fishes notice tthe company and a few beging to wiggle over to Han. One even ventured far enough to nibble at her tail, but quickly scrambled away.

Hanyuu grins nervously, nodding at what Aspyn had written in the silty sand. She didn't really care if they were minnows or a great white... But she soon got over her fish thing when she noticed a shiny, pearl type shell by the side of her leg.
Picking it up and handing it to Aspyn she winks and writes in the sand 'It's all shiny, a bit like you!'

Seeing the shell and the message before it, she smiles. I'm shiny, am I? she writes, twirling in the water so the sun glints off of her tinted skull. With a grin she grabs a stick and writes, Look, this one's brown! Like you! she sticks her tounge out and adds, But it is a pretty shell. Where'd you get it?

Picking up the brown shell with a grin Hanyuu sighs, tucking it in the top of her bandage. Something to remember this by, eh?
She begins writing again, 'I found it under my bum, haha.' she then giggled as much as possible without loosing air and drew a smiley face underneath her text.

Aspyn was asleep at the lakeside, her head tipped back and her ears wet from submergance. She sighed softly in her napping and moved some, muttering.

On the other hand, Hanyuu was atop a log, out cold. She slept heavy.. She always had and this early morning was no exception.
Her head was hanging off of the edge of the rough, eroded bark as were her legs and tail. Luckily the branch was only a foot or so off of the ground so Hanyuu wasn't worried about the height.
Her furr had now dried out from her and Aspyns' trips in and out of the lake. The sun had heated up to a higher temperature by now and it was draining the energy out of the adult skull monkey. She was never one to thrive in the heat...

Aspyn stirred slightly.
"Mmm...NO!! DON'T!!! NOT AGAIN!!" she screamed, then quieted, turning over. Odd sleeping habits...

Ears flicked Hanyuu jolted awake, almost loosing her balance on her wooden and immovable hammock. "Where's the fire..." she sighed disgruntled. She hated being woken from a sleep let alone being jolted awake...

Aspyn just lay there, sleeping like a baby. She rolled to the left, (she's a squirmy sleeper), and her back became wet from the lake's edge. Eyes shooting open from the sudden change, she squealed and jumped to her feet. "C-COLD!" she yelled, in her half-conciousness.

"She sleeps worse than my mother..." Hanyuu silently grunted as she watched the freaking out Aspyn show that was going on a few feet in front of her.

She shivered and shook herself out. Spotting Hanyuu, she grinned sheepishly. "Sorry...Hanyuu..." she said with a yawn. "Lovely nap. Did I wake you?"
