The boy took his eyes off the sky and turned back to the teen. "Hm? Oh... I'm sure you're right." Itsuki couldn't help but to feel like a child at that moment, but her offer lightened the situation up.
"Yeah, I'd like that." He slid his hands into his pockets and walked with her down the lantern lit exit from the glade.

"How long has it been since I last saw you? It couldn't have been too long could it? But, it kind of feels like forever... I think that's just because I've grown..." Yeste' rambled. She hadn't known how long she had spent in that cave, or how long she had slept afterwards... it felt like an eternity, but she knew it wasn't that long...
"So.... have you found any answers to your questions yet? I tried finding answers to my own questions... which.... kind of led to this..." She motioned to her grown self.
"But it led to a dead end... just a bunch of blank pages in an old book..." Yeste' sighed. All that hard work, almost dying, had been for nothing in the end...
Yeste' crossed her arms behind her back and watched her feet as she walked along side Itsuki.

"Ah... I don't know how long its been. A while, though, you're right." He continued to look up at the sky until her next question.
Itsuki looked over at Yeste', surprised at her interest in his search. "... I guess you could say I did. But its a little different then how your's went." The boy was unsure if her growth was in direct relation of her discovery and briefly wondered how he was affected by his own little 'quest' of sorts. "After meeting Kerryn, oh you know her right?, I started to wonder if what people were saying was right." He kept his hands in his pockets and looked ahead of him as he walked.
"Maybe I shouldn't be looking for knowledge? Maybe it is really a bad thing to know certain things. So, when I found this book in the shop..." He shrugged, "I knew it had to have some of the answers I've been looking for but, I didn't look at it."
"I still think about it. But I started to wonder more about myself as a person, after encountering so many of my faults." This ventured a frown on his face but he continued none the less, "I tried meditation to figure some things out but... I don't know what happened." Itsuki looked at her with a worried expression, "I woke up today. I... must have blacked out or fell asleep or something... for three days."
The idea still confused the boy and he shook his head, "I think I remember seeing something, but I can't really remember anything substantial. Then this rock I got...," his fingers brushed over the object in question within his pocket so he removed his hands to his sides, "The moment I stop focusing on the answers I was seeking... is the minute they start coming to me. But I haven't figured them out yet."

Yeste' smiled.
"See, I told you so.... what I was searching for was the key to open a book that appeared the day that I did... Sao said that it might be able to tell me what I want to know, but she couldn't read it because she didn't know the language it was written in... and the key dissapeared... I wanted to open the book, but I didn't really look for the key, and then one night I suddenly knew where it was. But its blank.... no answers...." Yeste' sighed, she wasn't so worried about it now... it seemed that she was getting answers from things besides the book. Like those stone carvings and the voice in her head.
No, there is no voice!
"Well," Yeste' stopped and looked at the apartment building. "Looks like this is your stop, Itsuki. Good night." Yeste' smiled at Itsuki and left with a wave.

Itsuki nodded and waved. "Night."
The boy looked back up at the sky and sighed before walking into the apartment building and up the stairs.
